Hy, i have a question. Just purchased a durango and added a trailer hitch to it, come to find out a dealer has to activate the electrical part of it. Not paying a dealer one hour labor for that job, so i went and got me a micropod2. I find the ecu configuration and see all values but how can i change them?? Thank you

Your clone chinese micropod will do you no good. You must call the dealer and ask them to add that option to your VIN, then use a active micropod logged into a active witech account and perform a configuration resrore on the module. Then it will function.

PCM vin can change easily with any tool can i change ABS vin ?? And also there is configuration differences code in ABS can i also do configuration??

Banana nut bread has nuts..... sorry thought we were bringing up stuff that has no relation to the video... my bad. Yes it does configurations, its the OEM tool.

If I'm using a CarDaq that's already approved by witech 2.0 for aftermarket will the online witech work? Or is the online witech strictly only for the micropod? Need to work on 2018+ vehicles that have the SGM. Thanks

To piggyback on this comment, with witech can you gain bidirectional controls without removing the SGM?

In order to access bidirectional control or any function other than reading codes on a 2018+ SGM with witech will require an additional techauthority subscription.

I just sent the approval to Chrysler today for my cardaq now waiting for the 2 days to get approved. Have you used your cardaq to flash anything on witech 2.0 if so how is it working

No. That is tuning software. This is diagnostic software.

Yes, it is the factory tool for ALL 2008 and up FCA products.

Does the wiTech work on 2016 cars ?

Yes, it is the most current tool used in the dealer, it covers 2010ish up to current. There is a chart on the Chrysler site showing which tool, covers which models.

Witech is used in cars 2006-current. SOME 2005's.
