Good one! I have a 300c crd wagon (stock I assume) and my best 0-100 was 6.9 sec with 20' rims. According to the official data it should make 0-100 for around 8 sec. Another curious fact is that the consumption is totally intact with the suggested by the manufacturer (in the winter ) and the board computer is 100% correct - unlike other cars that will show a lower consumption compared to the real one, calculated when you top up the car at the gas station.

My neightbor has an E class with that same engine and hes got 670.000km and its still going strong. No smoke, no loss of compression, no issues. And I know another dude with 803.000km on his 😂😂😂 Dont worry, an Italian tune up aint killing it.

Plus it's a Diesel. Diesels can go for maaaaaaany more miles, can get up close to 1 million and will still run without any problems. Hence why Diesels are used in trucks.

On automatic mode it doesn't rev to the redline, instead it changes gear when max power output of 3800rpm has reached. When you change gears manually you can rev higher, but it doesn't make it go faster, because this CRD engine has max power output at 3800rpm. (This engine produces a maximum power of 215 bhp - 160 kW at 3800 rpm and a maximum torque of 510 Nm at 1600 - 2800 rpm.)

Nearly 7 seconds with 3 litre diesel for a 2 ton sedan is actually really good, it can be chipped from 160kw to 190kw easily too if more power is needed.
