At least there's no funny business to make an account in the US unlike EVERY JP network. SPECULATION: R1 had significant influence over the monetization since they put up a lot of funding for the game to even be made. FUN FACT: The touchscreen is a custom 1:1 ratio (perfect square) 1080x1080 monitor.

Ah, yes. Chrono Circle. I've picked this one up as one of my new Rhythm Games some time after I decided to make the trek to Round1's. I do hope this game keeps getting refined as I do feel the chaotic nature of the game, though a bit big-brain for me at higher levels, does feel satisfying to execute. Furthermore, I hope Cordelia gets more songs.

My local Round1 in Baltimore does have these cabinets. Haven’t tried them out yet because I’m too busy with groove coaster, but I definitely will try it

I saw this game at my Round 1, did not know it was an Andamiro game, so I played it with one of my Camp Anchor friends, and even though it's complicated, even on Normal, I still had a blast.

i liked the qr code scan because i wouldnt need to pay 12 bucks just to login to one game. i hope they implement this in pump it up

i genuinely really liked this game at the arcade lol i even prefer it over Maimai, i just love that you can spin the controller on top of also pressing buttons. and the "time" aesthetic

6:46 Actually, if youre a maniac like me who learned the game so fast that you want to get the Master cahrts ASAP, it actually is worth it, since it opens the Expert difficulty for that credit instead of having to unlock it before hand by playing Hard, which makes grinding the friendship meters to open Master MUCH easier. You also get a bonus roll for the TP Daily Login, which is good since shop items are locked behind that currency as well as the CP (currency earned by just playing), and that itself is worth more than the standard play Daily Login. Though IDK what the game is talking about with the 20% level boost, there is no standard level system in the game, lol. Plus they added the Chrono Pass post launch for cosmetics, and Advanced Play is the best way to grind for those as they give 8 points per session (2 points per song) as opposed to Standard which gives 3 points per session (1 per song). Also at, 8:10 hey look, it me!!

I believe the 20% boost refers to either CP earned per song or how much playing lower level songs count to the next level Friendship gauge (i.e. after you get a Hard chart to 100%, playing hard again will count towards the Expert gauge, but at a fractional rate and THAT gets a 20% boost in Advanced play)

The gameplay is really fun, but is the 2 credit mode really the only way to play expert songs without clearing each individual song on hard? If so that's insane, and there's no way I'm going to keep playing it. The machine also shocks the crap out of me if I use iems (never had another game do this).

Watched this video when it first came out and was already a fan of the game and this reenforced that. My main issues was charts being lack luster or unreadbale in many parts as was the same with others I talked to. Between then and now the new charts are an entire new game, they just figured it out they get how to make really good and fun experiences now with all most of the ones I have played. I really do hope the game continues down the path its going because it seems to be a very postive one. ALSO if you tried the game awhile back pop back in and try some of the newer charts, very very worth and makes me excited to see where it goes.

Hey! Not everyone's first rhythm game was Osu! Mine was... uh... technically DDR and Guitar Hero, but I didn't actually get into the genre until Rhythm Heaven (DS) slapped my hands and said "Stop looking at the visuals! That's bad for your sense of rhythm! Now flip on the offbeats this time!" In fact, my rhythm game skills are so centered around that game that I regularly screw up on charts where I can't identify what part of the song is supposed to go along with the notes.

Saw this game at my local Round One in Burbank and played it, pretty cool.

hearing Arcaea referred to as Sound Voltex Pocket Edition is one of the funniest things i’ve heard this year so far

I was not expecting to like this game as much as I have been. The gameplay is extremely messy and overcomplicated in a genre that's usually as simple as you can get, and I still don't think I actually understand how the unlock system works. But somehow it became one of my favorite games at R1, with the physicality of rapidly spinning that wheel feeling really good even at the low/mid level. The song list is one of my favorites too, with a ton of Tano*C and BMS songs with video. I hope this game sticks around for a good while, it's definitely lacking refinement but it's still fun and unique. The unlock system is the worst unlock system I've dealt with in any rhythm game though...

This is really nice for DJMAX Technika players!! Although it has the outer circle part is different, the inner circle is really similar to Technika, which hasn't had a game in years and the mobile port shut down..

I think this game is fun in a lot of aspects But in my eyes that doesn’t constitute a good game I’d say that this is something that I’ll play maybe once in a while for a sizable time Aka it’s a kusoge

i always love pump it up, it was my first rhythm game i ever played at 7 and it's currently [10/1/2023] the only rhythm game that i have the am pass card ;-; .but for this one... ehhhh i don't know i haven't actually played it yet so i can't conclude anything because my arcade doesn't have one 😢, but i feel like the game is trying to HARD on having to MANY mechanics [Like dangg that's a lot rightt ;-;] y'knoww like RhythmXD but it look's somewhat fast pace [Even if a don't have a computer :(], but with this game, i feel like I'll broke the machine if i spin too fast ;;;-; butt still... don't know yet, hope i'll like it :)

while the game is nice and the song selection of songs is nice i still cant get over the fact that andamiro did pump it up dirty by not developing the new version opting for chrono circle development. I still hope it doesnt flop in order to not give salty piu players more reason to trash it because of said reason.

This game is unfortunately an abject failure. It failed to capture players. In Japan it was so bad that some arcades set this game to free play in hopes to drive up interest and even that was a complete failure. The mechanics of the game were too convoluted, it suffered the same issues like with Beatstream.
