In this video, we’re going to talk about COPD or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is also often called emphysema.
Symptoms of COPD can include:
• Shortness of breath
• Coughing
• Mucus
COPD is a chronic condition that often leads to pulmonary hypertension. This is when the blood pressure in your lungs increases, which causes a lot of stress on the right ventricle of your heart. This will eventually weaken the heart and cause edema.
You have little pouches called alveoli in your lung tissue. When you have COPD, these pouches become deformed as a result of inflammation and irritation from smoke or some other chronic inflammatory substance. Alveoli exchanges CO2 for oxygen in the blood.
While the lungs try to heal, your body creates scar tissue in your lungs, also known as fibrosis. As this scarring builds up, you lose your ability to exchange CO2 and oxygen, which is why you have difficulty breathing.
What can you do for COPD? Here’s what research shows:
1. Get plenty of tocotrienols (300 mg)
2. Boost your vitamin D (40,000 IUs)
3. Fasting
4. Keto
5. Vitamin C
6. Osha root
7. Mormon tea
8. Vitamin B1
9. Stop smoking - smoke and nicotine are big problems when it comes to COPD

I was a 9/11 responder and started having shortness of breath shortly after. I was exposed to poison gas as well as all the other toxins down there. I have been watching some of your videos lately and found them very helpful. I have a multitude of specialists. I have COPD, GERD, and my thyroid got knocked out. One doctor did suggest a multi-vitamin. I became totally disabled in 2010. I am on oxygen 24/7. I can't walk around my house even with portable O2 without stopping to rest. Watching this video was more informative than any doctor visit. I will be trying your suggestions. I sure have nothing to loose. Thank you for producing this video.

I have had COPD for years from smoking a pack a day plus weed for 40+ years. When I was diagnosed with a fatty liver, I started keto and IF and besides losing 70 pounds, I was cured from arthritis, hypertension, psoriasis, and my breathing improved dramatically. I credit Dr Berg & Ken Barry for all the info I needed. I quit tobacco 3 years ago, but keto and IF is what had all the impact on my overall health.

Thank you Dr Berg! My dad died March 28 this year after suffering years with COPD. In the end the heart Dr's told us his heart was his problem- his echocardiogram showed he was diagnosed with right side heart failure. They never connected the 2. But I see it now with your explanation why his heart failed. I watched him suffer more and more and struggle with breathing and everyday living. I can't express my gratitude enough for opening my eyes to this connection. I have been diagnosed with Asthma already and have already implemented keto and IF into my life as a way to NOT go the way my dad did. I have never smoked but believe my exposure to 2nd hand smoke and being overweight has caused my issues with Asthma. Because of your work here, I am now also going to add the Vit E, D3 and 72hr EF into my life to further become the healthy person that my dad could not be. Thank you, thank you for your work and sharing of information. I'm in tears here in gratitude.

Thank you Dr Berg for this explanation for COPD. I quit smoking eight years ago and for two years afterwards, I felt fantastic! Out of the blue I had trouble breathing, and it's steadily gotten worse, much worse! I have a regurgitating mitral valve leak and a tri- cuspid leak also but it falls into normal range whatever that is. I've had several nuclear stress tests that all have come out the same. Then I was told that I have MILD COPD........if this is mild, they are out of they're minds! I'm healthy @71 yrs old, this is the only problem I have, and if I didn't have this, I could run a marathon! The Tocotrienols my doctor may not give me a script on, but the rest I can get over the counter. I've also been drinking the recipe that you had for the lungs. I'm trying so hard, and if this doesn't work.....well I don't even want to go there, as this has given me a real bout with depression, but God bless you on your work in helping everyone, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️🤗😘

Never smoked anything in my life, never did drugs, can't drink alcohol, and I'm delighted that I cannot and have not!!!! Interesting., If I remember buteyko method is breathing through the nose and breath lightly. In buteyko method the idea is to increase co2 levels in the blood which allows more oxygen to be released from the hemoglobin. Most people have lower than optimum levels of c02. For COPD would breathing through the mouth be better since c02 levels are high already? Buteyko method was very helpful and calming for me.

My new pulse oxygen reading is 99 to 100% now. I’ve also been doing one meal per day and intermittent fasting heavily for the last 3 to 4 days. In addition to that much vitamin E, I upped my vitamin D to about 20,000, vitamin C about 4 g and kale. Not to mention 25 mg of zinc and about 500 mg of magnesium and potassium!

I always thought it was the tar in cigarettes that clogged the alveoli. When I stopped smoking (smoked for 50yrs) I used L-Glutamine, L-Tyrosine, DLPA, and 5HTP to reduce cravings. Took my vitamins (as you pointed out) and found that when I was busy, I didn't crave cigs anymore. I began working out with weights, do periodic fasting, etc. I stopped coughing and began to heal. The physical addiction is over in 2 or 3 days. The smoking associated with coffee, food, wine, and other things was the psychological aspect that keeping busy helped get me through. Every time I craved a cigarette after a meal, etc,, I just thought how deadly it was, and the craving went away (with the help of the amino acids).

Jolie Felicia, I feel for you. Really. My son was diagnosed with idiopathic primary pulmonary hypertension 7 years ago. We travelled down the same path as you as parents. Exactly the same stuff, such as liver failure, edema, breathing problems ascites etc. February 2020 and we were looking at a heart / lung / partial liver transplant.I wish I had known you earlier, because I switched the treatment to Homeopathy and the good doctor pulled a rabbit out of the hat. In Homeopathy they look at the illness holistically as the mind and the body are connected. My son's pulmonary hypertension was coming from a psychotic state of mind and the good Homeopathic doctor was quick to put a finger on it. In 4 months of treatment the ascites is gone and the liver is doing a complete turnaround. Last liver function test came out normal. The medicine is cheap as well as the treatment. All it took was 3 drops of a liquid Aurum natrum muraticum in half a cup of water everyday. My son is 35 yrs old. Today he works out with weights, does yoga 3 times a week and has got back his life. Where modern medicine (which is compartmentalized) has no answers we should look to Alternative medicine. I'm so sorry for your loss and my prayers go out to your family. God bless

(I don't smoke) Evidently I am allergic to many of the things that grow on our 40+ acres. Who would've thought? Now my resting heart rate has gone from athlete rate of 55-60 to 70-80 and just doing minor exertion causes it to jump up to 100+. Thank goodness for Dr Berg!!! As a health and nutrition nut, I'm embarrassed to say, : my only addiction : I'm still smoking organic rolling tobacco = 2-4 a day since 30 years and notice when I'm painting, I smoke more (the brain stimulation?)...my goal is to get down to 1 after a good meal, as it is definitely hard to quit this addiction! I rely on my Lung expectorant that has Osha, Elecampane, YerbaSanta, etc to get that mucous out...excercise helps too...my vit E (Jarrow) has Tocotrenols, YaY. and I get Sun everyday along with D3K2... I do Lyposomal C ,( is that a good source of this vitamin?) I'm more worried though about my son who vapes! Thank You Dr Berg! I've been sharing your link with many friends to spread your excellent knowledge/work Many Blessings

I smoked 1-2 pks. a day of Dunhill Reds for 30 years and loved it. I was diagnosed with COPD 2 years ago, so I decided to quit. Or at least slow down. I bought an e-cigarette named N-Joy (which was great until Big Brother took away the flavors). Within a year my cigarette cravings were all but gone. All I'm saying is since it worked for me it might work for you or anyone else trying to quit.

This has happened twice, I've choked then could not get a breath, it was very scary. It was like there was no air there like I'd hit a brick wall.

Look people if I can quit smoking - anyone can. Get serious. Yes it hurts, but once you have decided, smoking is not an option so get through it - and get through it you will! Note: you are not just quit in smoking, this is a lifestyle change. And once you are done, (okay years later) you will not be able to fathom why you ever smoked. You were a different person then. Actually looking back, I quit many times, and yes it hurt. But the last time, it was different; all desire was taken from me. Yes, cry out for help to the living God!

I smoked for 40 plus years. Always prayed asking God to help me stop. I don't think deep down I really wanted to. Then one day I asked God to please remove the DESIRE to smoke. I haven't smoked since!!! I had no cravings, no problems AT ALL. That was two and a half years ago. PRAISE GOD! Thank You Lord Jesus!!

Where did your mum work before she got this? If it's not from work then it's something in her house. Buy her a new trailer and have her old house demolished. Keep a clean house. No bleach. Keep the yard clean. Make sure there is no poison ivy in the yard.
