RIP Christy. One of the most charismatic people on stage. The pain is now gone Christy
Christy ,his honesty and compassion are an inspiration to us all, his understanding of human frailty and human strengths and emotions are in his songwriting, now we need a statue of the man in Dublin ASAP, so as generations can respect his memory. I remember at a gig in kilkenny making him a crisp sandwich, he told me they are an original delicacy of Finglas ! God rest my friend.
What a beautiful human being... Rip Christy!
After watching this interview it's so hard to believe that Christy is no longer here. He sounds like he still has a lot of living left to do. It's very true what he said about the boybands though, nobody will remember who they were. Christy has left us something far more real in the songs he has written and sung. He will always be remembered in these great songs. Rip Christy, condolences to his band, friends, and all his family ❤
Rip m8. An absolute legend.

I was on gigs and we go again in 28 August ,Cristy and all band is doing, million times better song's and music than this day's crap and do not minde if DJ cant put songs on as they not relevant,we know better, what is relevant and I be honest, your Anniversary Vinyl is best and will play for years and years and your music never disapear as it is relevant for people who know real hard working songs. Thanks Cristy Dignam. 🎇🌍🌌🌠

I love his folk song, are there more of them??
I’m from north Dublin tried my hand playing in a band playing bass guitar, didn’t succeed, suffered a breakdown, ripped off, dodgy game to be in,much rather be in the nine to five.not crippled in a bleedin wheelchair,I’m living the dream backwards

@@Mr.Fender Thank you more letting me know. I was aware of Irelands sad loss. I have been listening to his music non stop since I first heard him. What can I say? Christy, and Aslan are one of the best I have ever heard. I can only imagine what their live concerts would have been like. All the best from Australia.
