Islam has many questionable tenets, but I don't think I've ever heard of the Quoran wanting you to hate anyone. Punishing, killing, warfare etc, but not actually hating someone. Of course that may lead to hatred, but there has been plenty of that in Christianity, Hinduism, even Buddhism.

so when you work with a muslim, go to school with muslims or your kids. your doctors, nurses are muslims. do you tell them you are intolerant? or maybe, you want to islam to bow down to what you want rather that what Allah says he wants? that's the problem with western societies. that's why you see all the crime in america. because no one wants to follow the Jesus fully. you want to have tolerance to the point of disobedience. Many western people do really, most are afraid to say anything because somehow it's crept into law (I'm in Canada) that we cannot publicly say anything bad about it or we can face charges. I read the Quran out of curiosity due to my 1st encounter with Islam, I wanted to understand why they would threaten the life of a 13 year old boy who simply said hello to a Muslim boy in school. It is madness and just plain evil from what I learned by reading it.

Everyone has a religion. It is one of the universals of humanity. It's very simple, everyone has a hierarchy of principalities they follow. Basically, whatever is at the top is said person's god so to speak. For many people it's money, so whoever controls the money is the one whom such a person follows. Often this is a government, and following a government in such a way has led to all of the atrocities of the 20th century, and soon to be the 21st. False religions, bad philosophies, and governments often are what lead down the destructive paths that end in atrocities. All of which is as a religion in of itself. This is because philosophy, politics, and religion are all bound together as one. Creating a hierarchical structure on how one believes and therefore behaves.

I could explain the problem with the west as a whole, which is the loss of a unifying religion aka the rise of nihilism. Which is also the same thing led to the great atrocities of the 20th century, and soon to be the 21st. The issue in the US is similar in that no one is taught what it means to be an American and why that was different (I would say is different but as time progresses Americans are losing that which made them different.) No children are taught what the founding principles of the Republic are, and why. Heck, they are not even taught to read the US constitution in a US Government class. That has been true for several years. Now this may seem unimportant, but as I said about philosophy, politics, and religion being so intertwined that they are effectively the same. If even one of these things is changed or removed entirely the country that is resting upon the supports of those three things beings to fall. In the case of the US. Well, it has been sinking for quite a while in that mire of confusion and chaos, and I am not so convinced that it is unintentional. As anyone studies history can say doing so helps to avoid repeating the past, but it also gives the ability to choose when to repeat it.

I was born into it and i was following the flock as everyone else did but from the age of 11-12 after reading the whole quran in afew days i realised it can't be a god's word or even a man with great manners as once talks about mercy in another verse talks about killing and enslaving other humans aslo talks about prophets personal wishes and swears at his enemies 😂 Anyway it took away the holly side of it for me and i had my serious questions that no one could answer them,instead i used to get wrong for it which i knew they wanted to silence me as it was disposed for me I got banished from friends and close ones but I'm happy that I'm not a sheep anymore and i don't live a lie

That’s the extent of your intellect. None of you have bothered to read the Quran and understand what it actually says. Christopher Hitchens was a human being, and as such he had his own human flaws. He clearly did not bother to understand what he was speaking of. Islam explicitly prohibits and stands against everything this functionally illiterate man claimed. Rather than listening to what others say about Mohammed SAW why don't you give a read who he was? Or why people like you hate him so much? He SAW isn't here anymore so he can't defend himself so the least you can do before going into a rant, read who the man really was. Read Muhammad: His Life Based on the Earliest Sources by the late Dr. Martin Lings. Don't worry Dr Lings wasn't a Muslim when he started writing rather became one while writing.

Or how he got all his money from robbing his own people, who he said deserved it because they didn't want to join his cult? Or how he suddenly recieved a "reveleation" that adoption is illegal so he could justify marrying his adopted son's wife? Didn't he purposely send that adopted son, Zaid to his death? Your prophet is a man entirely without morals. And how did he die? Wasn't he poisoned by a Jewish woman (he killed her entire family, not something uncommon for him to do)? Allah allowed his prophet to die like that? How funny.
