This was fascinating and lovely, too, when I saw how much care and love you have for each other. It's beautiful to see other cultures at Christmas. Thank you so much for your video. Good luck with EVERYTHING right now. You're still in our prayers in the UK 🇬🇧 I've subbed.

Christmas in Ukraine is celebrated on December 25. Since 2017, the date has been one of the official state holidays. Before that, Christmas was celebrated by many on January 7 by the Julian calendar. Some people still celebrate it on January 7, and the other part on December 25.

I am sending a nice greeting from the Czech Republic. Nice video about Christmas customs in Ukraine. What surprised me was that even in Ukraine carols are sung. I only knew Czech carols. One of the Czech Christmas customs: Dropping shells across the water. The most common is to release the shells in pairs, where a boy and a girl split a nut in half, put a small candle in the shell each and release the shells on the water. When the shells come together, the two's love endures. When they each sail in different directions, the same fate befalls their love.

@@hedda2022 This video is a lie! In my message, I wrote an explanation about why this video is false, as well as all the false media in Europe and the USA! Educational program once again: Ukrainians are Orthodox Christians! Alas, Orthodox Christians have Christmas Day starting tonight with the first star. Orthodox Christians have Christmas on January 6-7! You should read the encyclopedia of Orthodox Christian Holidays. Because Ukrainians they are Orthodox Christians... An explanation from a citizen of Ukraine about where the deception is hidden: The title of the video, the festive food on the table and the Christmas Day tree in the house of these people does not mean that Ukrainians celebrate Christmas Day on December 25th! Alas! This is exactly how festive tables look in the homes of all Ukrainians on the night of December 31 to January 1, because Ukrainians celebrate the New Year - this is exactly how it has been since Soviet times to this day! I remind you once again: Ukrainians are Orthodox Christians who begin celebrating Christmas Day today on January 6th! Christmas Day for Orthodox Christians is January 6-7.

I spent Christmas in Poland this year, and the food looks very much the same - even the breakfast word (?), "Sniadanie". Poles also have a chocolate called "Ptasie mleczko", "Bird´s milk". So I think, there could be many things in common. Good to see, that you are still happy, despite what is happening in and around many of your country´s cities. New Year´s Greetings from Aarhus, Denmark.

Alas, what is common for EU (Poland), the USA and Ukraine is the lies of the media! Becouse, just like everything that has been happening in Ukraine for 9 years, since 2014, and this video is also not true! It's all Hollywood, a lie for the euro-us suckers! Because, in fact, in Ukraine Christmas Day is celebrated with the appearance of the first star on the evening of January 6 - it's today! (Christmas Day in Ukraine on January 6-7). Because Ukrainians are Orthodox Christians, who have Christmas Day today on January 6, just like in Russia, but no one from the false media of the EU, Great Britain and the USA will tell about this fact.
