I always have my 3rd grade class make these every year. One year we made A LOT! We went on a field trip a couple of weeks before Christmas to an old folks home to sing carols, visit with and give them the cards and the cinnamon ornaments that we had made. The residents and nurses ABSOLUTELY loved it and so did my students! They talked about it for months after!

My daughter and I made these when she was little. We just put them on the tree 4 days ago. Still fragrant as the day they were made. We store them in a tin.

I'm watching this in 2020. It's not the holidays without watching, and rewatching your DIYs. 👍🏾
I remember doing this with my grand daughters (my daughters daughters) a few years ago. We’re going to my son’s house in Florida for Christmas this year and we plan on making some of these. Fun times!
Hi there. It’s Dec 2023. Your video was great. I was just thinking about these ornaments and it popped up. Glad it did. I needed the oven temp and time for baking. Merry Christmas!
I made these with my girls when they were little. Also we cut out gingerbread men out of sandpaper & then you rub cinnamon sticks on them... they smelled so good!
So cute !!! So many possibilities with the decorations !!! Thanks for the chuckles and the tutorial !!
Yes, we made these too. I remember we added some Elmers glue too. I guesd they are different recipes. Ther are soooo fragrant!!!
I’ve seen these ornaments before at craft shows and always wondered how they were made. They smell fabulous! Yours turned out soooo cute! 💖 Thank you for sharing! Have a nice evening! 😊
So funny you posted this video today because my mom, niece, and I made some of these ornaments today! We added a little bit of ground cloves to ours and oh my gosh, they smell divine! Such an easy way to make some really great (& great smelling!) ornaments.
That is the most amazing thing !!! That it turns into dough !!! Very cool 💡 idea.!!! I use to make it with water and flour. I like that better for gingerbread people so adorable 🥰!!!
I haven't made these before, now I know how!!! Thanks for showing me how! 👍 Love your "CRAZINESS" ! 😂 Till next time. 💚
I've never made these. I can't believe you only use 2 ingredients and they harden up! Amazing! Love this idea!
What a great idea for doing the decorating with the grandkids! And I'm looking forward to my house smelling great!. So many ideas of where to put these!

I made these one year for coworkers. I passed them out with their Christmas cards and they loved them!

I put the ingredients in a ziplock to avoid inhaling the cinnamon and mixed. It smells amazing.

You can also add and use up other Christmas spices that are getting old.
Neat! I've never seen such a thing!
I’m here two years late because I’m wanting to make these with my kiddos this week. I just had to say the ex husband bottle of the barrel comment had me cracking up. 😂

I just love to watch and copy your items. Awhile ago you made a craft using light weight spackle. When I finally bought the space I can't find your video. If you can refresh my memory with the spackle craft I would just love it. The crafts you make are great and not all that difficult. Thank you and have blessed day . grace sulkowski

Hi Amber I love your gingerbread man recipe. I can't wait to go to the store and pick up my supplies. Quick question I need to know where I can go buy the little metal gingerbread man? Thank you so much for everything. God Bless.

LMAO! Me too! That's why it is my favorite time of year. I cant get enough of that smell. Year round I melt the cinnamon wax from Walmart in my 6 warmers around my house. Yes I am addicted to scents and I refuse to go to recovery! I cant wait to add these ornaments to my arsenal.
It’s that time... 😊
I love, love, doing this. Grandchildren do too. Store them in cookie tins, they last forever. I will decorate mine this year👍🏻Usually very rustic.
I just some... Turned out to blasted cute.. didn't have a ginger man are women thought I did.. well I did snow flake and candy canes. thanks
😊💗🌸
You know while I'm watching this I can almost taste the cinnamon
I was wondering if you made salt dough ornaments before? Several years ago I made a bunch of salt dough ornaments and painted them. They might be scented with cinnamon, but I could be wrong. Although I'm not sure if they sustained the couple years being in the attic. I messed up my arm and was too afraid to go up & down a ladder, so I haven't been up there since.
Will be making these with my son! Had never heard of them before. 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

ROTFL ROTFLMAO😂 It's 4:15 AM, & I 'm trying not to wake my hubby with my laughing! 😜
Not sure how I messed this up but I never could seem to get it right. Add more cinnamon and to dry add just a bit of sauce and when I rolled and cut the cookies it just seemed to fall apart I couldn't even move them from the paper to the cookie sheet.
im doing this tomorrow at school
