The problem with the resin video not playing all the way through for some people is not an error on my end. It plays normally for many people. It is an issue with KZread, not the video. Support tickets have been sent in. Lots of other KZreadrs are having the same issue.

Do u think I could use this to create a cheaper alternative to wooden balls to use as doll heads? ? I DO understand they would take a while to dry. The heads would go on wooden clothes pins so they aren't that big...about 1" or less.

I loved making salt dough ornaments. I made one with my initial when I was 10 and gave it to my dad. Every year he hangs it on hits Christmas tree. I'm now 45 and he still hangs it.❤

Made these back in the 1970s with foster kids. We didnt have the sealers they have today, so we sealed ours with clear varnish. I still have 2 of them after all these years. Really like the update of adding paint.

My daughter and grandaughter made these this week. Love them.Thank you.

I love this craft! i can remember making these at school... I have been looking for the rolling pins and cake boss icing kit.. our dollar tree doesn't carry half of what the big stores get:( I even look online at the dollar tree and cannot find them!!

I received some adorable homemade figuratively salt dough ornaments when I lived in Albuquerque. One was a stick horse. A toothpick was the “stick” and the horse head was salt dough. The mane was “spaghetti” salt dough. They all were painted. But after moving back to Florida, the humidity ruined them.

What would u use to seal the ornaments

Thank you for saying it is deadly to dogs. I was thinking about trying to put my cats paw print in the middle and put color to it but now I won't. I wasn't even thinking about all the salt in this would make animals sick or dead and would never put my furbabies in harm. I am still going to make these though.

Umm i have put paw prints on these. Just rinsed their paws off afterwards. Didnt have any adverse effects.

If they have dogs they can do cornstarch ornaments yes it will still make the dog sick but they will live you will just have to take them to the bathroom more often. Then they can do everything else you do after they make the dough

I'm going to make salt dough ornaments for Thanksgiving and turn them into garland and napkin rings how can you make an Acorn shaped ornament if you don't have a cookie cutter in that shape

I would find the shape of an acorn online. Look for acorn clipart. Print that out onto some card stock then cut it out. Roll out your dough, then lay the acorn shape on top, and trace around it with an Xacto knife.

Not all stores carry the same stuff. It depends on the size of the store and their location.

So if you pour and mix why do you have to put in a red cup.

Like I said in the video, it all depends on where you live, and the levels of humidity. You may need to use more or less liquid than I did. If you just dump all of the paint in first, it may make it wet enough that you don’t need to add in hardly any water, and that can throw off the consistency of your dough. If you mix it together first, then you have a nice balance of liquids.

Ooooooooh I hate wearing gloves too.

Are my animals just weird? Not one of them has EVER touched my tree. In fact, they don't touch ANYTHING until I say they can. Even my cat! I have 2 dogs and the cat. I would like to take credit for being so good at training them, but the only thing I've been able to do is get my hyper one to be calm.
