This song was my mums favourite song. After she passed away from cancer when I was ten, this was her funeral song. Every time I listen to this song it reminds me of her and reminds me to try my hardest in everything I do and that life is a gift and that we should cherish every moment of it because sometimes it gets taken away from us in a blink of an eye. I love listening to this song, as it brings back memories of when my cat Gyzmo was still alive. Sadly he died in 2016. Everytime I think of him I hope he is watching, waiting, and hoping for the time we get to see each other again. To everyone who has lost someone like a family member, best friend, or pet, I have felt your pain, and your not the only one feeling the pain of losing someone important to you.

This song is one that I want to sing to my kids one day, I never had great parental figures so I didn't have a good sense of what a relationship would feel like. The one thing I have experienced is raising my siblings, I have been there for them since day one and they are almost like my kids in my eyes (big age gap between 3 youngest and me). I have a kind of sense of how it would be as a parent, though it's not exact, I just want to have the full feeling with my future kids. I cant imagine me being in a solid relationship but I can imagine being an active parent and loving my kids unconditionally.

This reminds me of my grandpa..He died July 20th... He was like my therapist..If I needed something he would be quiet and listen. I miss him.. Everytime, we went to visit him, he would give us either a candy or cookie.. Miss you Papa, I love you..
