Christianity. Pure and Simple.

What does it mean to be a Christian? What is the essence of this faith we profess. More than rules to follow or beliefs to assent to, Christianity is about responding to an experience of love and healing by taking up the revolutionary mission of Jesus Christ.

I want to convert to Catholicism, but my parents are Pentecostal and very anti-catholic. I recently bought a rosary behind their backs, and I’m having a difficult time going to a priest to get it blessed. I fear that they might throw me out. I’m only eighteen, and I’m financially dependent on them for everything. Please pray for me, my brothers and sisters in Christ.

@c L. Time is on your side. Just wait. And during the waiting period, increase your faith by studying Church courses online and listening to Catholic KZreads. Learn apologetics to better give a reason for your faith 1 Peter 3:15. Pray. Time is on your side.

@c L: First of all, I love your Squidward avatar. To get your Rosary blessed I have a suggestion. Do you have any Catholic friends at school? Maybe one of them could take your Rosary, have it blessed by their priest, and bring it back. Let's pray for your parents' conversion too.

My brother, this is quite sad... I come from Brazil and i feel almost the same as we(catholics) are no longer majority, things are not the same. What i can say is that you should have patience, calmness and silence. Work on your vocation, listen to the Cosmic Christ, in your heart, the trinity. All things must pass, Romans 8,28 '' And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him''. Courage, follow the saint Francis example.

I will pray for you.. I know this grief.. I used to be Pentecostal and I just recently converted to Catholicism myself. Just hold on, God's got this, and when it's time, it'll all work out. Be prayerful, be humble, and don't stress about getting that rosary blessed just yet. Pray it. Devote yourself to it and it'll make a way for you. It did it for me. God bless my brother, it's gonna work out.

A little of my story. I was new to Tokyo. I am a Japanese-American. I was not accepted by the American kids because I look Japanese. The Japanese kids didn't accept me because I couldn't speak, write or read Japanese like a native or fluently. The Catholic church welcomed me. The late father William debiase and the Franciscan chapel center friars were welcoming. I became a Catholic and got baptized when I returned to the USA. I saw my story at the beginning of your video. Thanks father Casey

I got my religious training in a very small and poor Salvation Army Church that my grandmother took care of. The congregation was very poor. A good month would bring less than 50 dollars a month in offerings. But, the people, the individuals involved, did their best to help each other. They had a steadfast belief in Jesus Christ and I am very grateful to them all for my belief anchored in faith. As I read this I am aware that my words are inadequate to explain the gifts they provided me in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you Oh Lord, thank you.

I see Mary statues and beautiful churches everywhere I go. I have been able to participate in Christmas traditions regarding the presepio and church service worshiping God on the street. I have observed the rosary being recited by Mary statues. My curiosity has grown so much that I now pray the rosary daily, meditate on Gods word and have asked him to transform me. Your videos are much appreciated and Gods love radiates through you. I’ve seen you take controversial topics and give reasons to think about Gods will. I just want to thank you for listening to God in your life and for sharing with the world. I truly appreciate you!

I heard that China will be the place where the Catholic Church is going to dominate in the future while in Europe it will diminish Our Lady Of China Mary’s Apparition to God’s Beloved Children in China Deliverance “…A woman in white appeared above the settlement, and the rioters’ bullets were aimed at her. When the apparition did not fade, attackers had not even time to reorganize because a strange horseman put them to flight.”

God Bless you and your work, and I thank you for your videos. I love to hear those who love our Lord speak of him as sadly not all who speak of him seem to. You're a great evangelist with a genuine talent for teaching. For me, it's your obvious love of Christ that makes your videos such a gift. That love saturates every word you say and makes your teaching a true light in an all too often darkened world.

I'm so glad we have been blessed by God with truly good Holy Priests...you are in my prayers and thank you for such an uplifting message...especially with so much sadness in the world! Jesus, I trust in You! 🌹💕

This video was such a great refresher. I think we get so caught up in thinking Christianity only exists inside a physical church. The physical church is important, but it’s not all that Christianity/Catholicism is.

The progression you illustrate from those that first encountered Jesus back in Roman times to their newfound zeal for His mission struck a chord with me. Since starting grad school I've found myself in dialogue with several of my international student friends about why I believe as a Christian. So much of what I have said connects very strongly to what you have said here. Sometimes when I'm alone I can help but tear up at the thought of God's love through the example of His Son. Thank you for speaking to this!

Great video, it made me cry from beginning to end. I realized that I need to let myself be broken in order to find God. We find him in our worst times; I was so scared of despair and God not loving me that I didn’t let him love me. Thank you Father, you have really been an instrument of God’s love, because of you I will let myself know Jesus and love him. Thank you!

This brought back a memory that happened years ago. I was downtown Chicago and excited that I found this cafe my dad and friend raved that the service was great and everything is so good. On the menu was my favorite treat drink. Naturally, I ordered the largest size to go. I mean, it was a treat that I allow myself once or twice a year. Took a sip outside and instantly regretted buying the drink. Convincing myself a little more than half way to the train station that it was just my imagination the drink could not Be as bad as I thought. Took another sip and this time it was worse tasting than the first. Spotted a garbage can and was about to throw the drink away. Thinking this is such a waste. I really tired to throw the cup away but the cup would not leave my hands. Turned around to see a man with cardboard facing down, hands lock together as he blew into them. He noticed me with the drink and picked up the sign shaking it. Without I thinking I explained what happened. And took the lid off since I took two sips and asked him, “do you want the drink?” He locked onto the cup. “Yes, please. I handed him the cup and noticed the change in his eyes as if he had hoped. Told him that there was a church on this block maybe the priest or someone can help him find a place to stay and food to eat. He laughed and pointed up we were in front of a Parish I frequently go to for mass. I waved him goodbye and told him to talk to the priest after mass. He may know of a place close to here. On the train going home I thought of the man I gave him the drink. He seemed familiar and realized I did see him. My friend and I were going to meet at the station. She missed her train and would be late by about an hour and ten minutes. After checking with her to see if it was ok to go to mass and meet back at the train station. It was and I left for mass. Just happened that I hit every red light walking to the Parish. The man was outside the doors (I gave him the drink to). I asked if mass started yet. A couple was beside me before he could answer. The man told me mass starts in two minutes. And then asked if he was bothering me. I explained he wasn’t. After mass went to meet my friend at the train station. We called a cab.
