The prophet pbuh said that we will never see God in this life, only after we die we can. so basically anyone with whatever powers or deception who comes to Muslims and says worship me while we're still in this life is a big NO for us. In the Arabic it doesn’t say “another was made to resemble him.” (this is an interpolation) Nowhere in the Quran does it say “He did not die” or “He wasn’t crucified” or “He wasn’t killed.” Instead “THEY did not kill him” and “THEY did not crucify him” is stated. There is a difference. This is important to note because this verse perfectly meshes with what’s written in the New Testament about his crucifixion: (Allah is the best of planners and pre-destined that he would be killed/crucified therefore “THEY” didn’t cause it to happen)

@alenmujkic Right but it doesn't say “He wasn’t killed instead God raised him up and made another look like him and that one was put on the cross.” Q4:158 is referring to the Ascension and is a rejection that the bani Israel were successful in killing him and silencing him forever. (look at the verse I shared from their scripture Acts 2:24… “God raised him” just like Q4:158)

Christians were never the enemy according to Islam and Quran as evident in Ma'ida 82: "You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allāh; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant."
