I watched the CL final and almost spit out my coffee when Pulisic subbed in early - I didn't think he would play. I'm thinking the Havertz goal allowed for a change in tactics. Then I almost lost my mind when he came within a foot of scoring. He looked great out there. His hold up play, dribbling, and the fact that city had to worry about him on the counter was exactly what CFC needed. However - this Mexico USA final in the new Nations league meant so much more to me as a fan of the game. I'll say it - Mexico was supposed to win that game. No one thought the US was going to pull that off except the USMNT. Proud of those boys.

He is a inspirational to million of american kids
Just to put it out there he's not the first American to play in the champions League, he's the first American to play in the champions League final and win it. Obviously this year alone there have six to ten players I think in the champions League who represented or are eligible to represent USMNT . There are former USMNT players who appeared in the champions League such as Michael Bradley , Damarcus Beasley ; Beasley being first American to play in the champions League semi-finals. And others such as John O'Brien, Kenny Saif, Jermaine Jones,Tim Howard , Landon Donovan, Frankie Hejduk and others. Note: Pulisic is note the first to win it, but the first to play in the final and win the Champions League, the first American to receive a champions League medal being Jovan Kirovski was the first to earn the medal ; Jovan Kirovski earned a champions League medal for playing for Dortmund in the group stages and not featuring on for the rest of the tournament. Fun fact : Jovan Kirovski was the first American to score in the champions League. Just to put it out there I don't Dislike Christian Pulisic and am not American but am simply mad at the presenters for not doing their research.
