It's fun imagining Mr. Pulisic hitting his stride at ACM...I believe we will see him thrive and for American viewers like me, become keener on Serie A.... I know one thing for sure...He'd start with any team in Argentina and can handle the roller-derby characteristics of the Argentinian game....

As an American that watched Beckham, Ronaldinho, Zlatan (twice), Kaka, Silva (where I fell in love with how he reads a defense and thrives at only 6'), Seedorf, and more play for the rossoneri ..... even tho I've always loved Chelsea, you'll come to appreciate the league from a tactical standpoint. You'll see why Mourinho was able to conquer Europe. After his first game, barring injury, I think we're in for a helluva season 🤝

The answer seems logical. He wasn’t getting any playing time at Chelsea. Pulisic needs to focus on staying healthy first and then the form has a chance to come with it. But I think its a move that suits him. He cant expect minutes if he cant stay fit a full season. Good luck this year to him I hope he succeeds in Milan.

This is soooo good for him. I'm a Chelsea fan, but they've made a ton of missteps with all the changes. They had too many players and all of them had to look over their shoulders constantly. Good players can't play well when they are constantly playing on eggshells and looking over their shoulders. And now, they've lost several of their best players.... Pulisic, Mount, Abraham, Giroud, Rudiger, many more. And if you talk to Chelsea "supporters", they've turned their back on all of them and made some stupid comments. Pulisic is fantastic. Chelsea screwed the pooch w/ him.

Happy to have him, he'll have to study Italian teams in the way they defend as a group though, the space in the premier league on turnovers does not exist in Serie A because everyone who's aware they're shit will defend for 96 Mins. That's the difference between England and Italy.

As a Man United American fan, my frustrations with Man United have made me semi-pause and emotionally detach from ManU until the ownership situation gets figured out. I feel like their locker room constantly has issues and players with controversies (Greenwood and now Antony). I feel myself cheering for AC Milan now because of Pulisic, but also a team that is fun to cheer for and see doing well. I’m just glad I have another team to cheer for and not stress about. Thank you AC Milan for giving Pulisic the chance he deserves and for letting make an impact that we all know he is more than capable of doing.

I thought he was too patient; 2 months into his second season when Timo replaced him and kept the position despite being physically incapable of scoring unless by accident, it was clear there was an issue and he was going to get minutes agains bottom ranked PL teams and the last few minutes of games already won or lost, followed by the press and fans who read the ideas saying he was “inconsistent. The only thing inconsistent was his minutes of playing time and the low scoring Chelsea system.

I had a very different reaction to this interview than most of the commenters. On the one hand, I’m happy to hear he feels supported, but that need seemingly is the same reason he vocalized his support for Gregggg. Football is a team game and his individual needs should not be above what is best for the team/club/project. A manager can lose trust, but it’s up to the player to win it back. And in Christian’s case, he certainly had plenty of managers and most of them felt the same way about him. Will be interesting to see if Pioli plays him less and how he will respond. Just makes me weary if him as a leader of the USMNT

Every player at Chelsea was underperforming and inconsistent at Chelsea. That has been consistent with every manager since they peaked after winning champions league. Also, it’s definitely on a manager to know how to manage his players aka support them. Bad coaches don’t do this or need very specific players and personalities to be successful. This is one of the reason I think Jose Mourinho is either lights out or a dumpster fire lol.

You want more kids to play soccer in the US? Show them they can make bank playing the game wih longer careers than football and without the height requirements of basketball. Put together a solid youth->mls-> Europe pipeline. And then get to the quarters or semis in the world cup. Give kids heros and $$ to admire and you will start to get the best talent. As with any working environment, being trusted by your boss or supervisor is a huge aspect on your performance. A cold, insensitive boss or co-worker makes for odd encounters and just, in general, an uncomfortable experience. You feel like you're in limbo where you don't know where you stand or you go about your tasks not wanting to mess up.
