Great movie that seemed truly authentic , acting was great and the best part of the movie is bringing the gospel of my Lord Christ Jesus as the main point of the movie, especially when the youth pastor talked about how the waves can cut back in a direction different than the current one that a surfer is going, like life, which direction is best for one's life and I can say unequivocally, Christ Jesus is the way, the truth and the life

Terrible movie. The Christian teens drink beer at a party, for one. Then there's drunk driving. And the exercising of the body (surfing) is given priority over getting a good education. The son disobeys his parents too. His mother fights her husband on his decision regarding the son. Not a Christian movie, just a secular movie sprinkled with some church words.

​@@Southamericangirl42 verda! It's very easy to call yourself a Christian in America. I was hoping to see the 'pastor' and the church kids sharing their faith, and helping poor people. All I see is them amusing themselves, with no love for neighbour @ all. apostle John wrote, if you don't love people, the love of God is not in you. This is an example of reality. sometimes i wish that we don"t have to lose somebody in life to see that God is with us.

Yes, sometimes we have to bottom out, before we can look to God...just remember, Jesus will be there anytime you cry out to Him for help...:)

God is with us. Luke finds Him when he realizes he’s not in control and there are no answers to the most heartbreaking questions in life. Exceptional acting and storyline. Loved the beach setting!

God was lost?

I lost my dad when l was 1year and l grew without seeing him and how he looks like, it was such a terrible moment to catch up with life until 2016 where by God called me from the world so now l am got peace down inside my heart the peace that this world couldn't give me, this movie reminded me that God is Able

I love watching movies! It is great to watch heart touching Christian movie instead of violet, fictional scientific, unbiblical love stories, and horror movies. Thank you for upload.

All we have is this minute Give your life to Christ.For the sins You have committed repent.And ask him to be the Lord of your life.And to want to live for him everyday.

Praise God for Hope Saabath School. I watch from the Island of Bermuda weekly and am always blessed. This lesson impacted me greatly as God affirms His desire for us to be whole. 🙌🏽 HSS is a real blessing for me, and I know countless others. 🙏🏽God bless HSS in its entirety always🩵

That was an awesome movie. You know I wished that I had been that smart back then to accept 😢 JESUS that young. I became a Christian two years and seven months ago. It took me a long time to get to the level of intelligence to realize that I needed the LORD. That was the smartest decision that I ever made. I'm so glad 😊 that we have a merciful God. I didn't deserve this chance. 😪 I'm 58 years old. This is for all the young people out there. Please don't be as stupid as me except the LORD and live your life in peace. As for all the older folks out there, it's never too late. JESUS CHRIST LOVES US ALL! Thank God. 😊

Absolutely Susan, I used to live in California and starting from Malibu to San Diego, there are many places that you can learn to surf. I now live in Washington and regret not learning to surf when I lived there. Even with your disability, there must be a place that will help you to learn to surf. I am going to do a research to see which beach can assist you. If I find some info, I will get back with a reply

Hi susan, Have you watched butterfly circus on KZread? If you have then you probably know that the main character Nick not only surfs who plays golf and many other things.b and how about Soul Surfer Brittany. You believe in Jesus right! And He believes in you,. Remember, he's God of the impossible! And he loves you so very much!

very heartwarming film and it was so encouraging to know GOD loves us so much. but i was getting frustrated that you tube kept interupting the film every 5 minutes with adverts.

No one goes to heaven by ‘giving their life to Christ’ . Salvation is not a position that is gained by trading your life for it . Changing one’s life can’t save anyone . Saved by faith , not of yourselves , ‘gift’ of God ‘not’ of works . Accepting the death payment that Jesus made for us upon the cross as our own payment , is the only way to go to heaven , Jesus is The Savior , not Jesus and you , and , he needs no help from us , to save us ! The pathetic attempt this movie made at giving the gospel is about the same as not giving it at all . This movie is however , a great illustration of the plague that has overtaken the church of today . No clarity ! Feel good terms that need to be further explained to the lost because the lost does not know the ‘church language’ . In my experience , the church language , when a lost person hears it , simply brings confusion for the most part . What would be so horribly wrong with presenting the gospel , you know , how people get saved , in terms that are so clear that you don’t have to go back and try to explain what ‘give your heart to Jesus , actually means ? So clear , that the gospel is understood by the listener the first time he hears it ? I’m just saying …

Sound messed up

You have to do on your own - friends parents jobs moneys - you have to do on your own - be yourself - then of course things happen - even if there's god (gods) or not😊

Who is the wolf in sheep's clothing, the one preaching to the choir? What is resurrection but a sign for "a wicked generation"?The only sign given is Jonah: A believer murdered by other believers.

I find it weird how the youth pastor is always only a couple years older than the teens they teach. It's like how in the Bible the young king listened to his friends who were his own age instead of the elders. It's not always wise to have someone so young teaching people who are only a few years younger

Absolutely dislike movies where they have God all wrong! Where God's character is marred and butchered!!! It is never God's plan to take lives! God's Word to us is that it is "the devil who comes to steal, kill & destroy BUT Jesus came that we might have life and have it in abundance"🎊 God is not up one day and down another. The Word Of God was just beginning to be planted in these boys lives and the bible says that satan comes to steal this Word. "...these are the ones along the path, where the word is sown: when they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that is sown in them." God has great plans for each of us
