Kolby King, isn't illusion the other name for magic? That's why they also call magicians illusionists. If this is not magic, so how did you play that trick? Where are those boxes coming from? I don't think the Gospel needs tricks to be preached, even to our children. Gospel requires only one thing to be received and accepted by a human heart: FAITH. God doesn't need anybody's help to demonstrate His existence. He is able to convince anybody He called through the power of the Holy Spirit. Remember what Paul says about the Gospel? It is a power for the salvation of he that receives it. So, if your gospel needs tricks to be preached, that means it doesn't have the power of the Holy Spirit. You then need to bow to your knees and ask God to give you the true Gospel. Watch yourself out, man! Remember what happened to Simon the magician in the book of Acts? God loves you, so please you need to preach the Gospel of Truth.

Seriously? A magic/"illusion" demonstration for kids, in a church is a good idea for Christ? Is that a 501C3 church? I think u just got a bunch of kids interested in learning how to do that cool trick. Beyond hypocritical. U wouldnt have addressed it had u not felt convicted.

Mahr-Kuss Bashonga It is pure a trick.. I used to have the same box.. The boxes were folded and placed under the bottom of the box.. As simple as that...

I must say...I am in agreement that magic is sorcery even mixed with good intentions. Very much like "Christian rock" music. Just because you put Christian words into a rebellious beat doesn't make it acceptable to God. Even Moses came down from the mount and said what is this strange music....it was rebellious music from Egypt. Worldly and Unacceptable.
