Christ In The Passover - Presentation - David Brickner - Jews For Jesus

2020-04-10 - Christ In The Passover - Presentation - David Brickner - Jews For Jesus.
Christ in the Passover shows the link between the ancient Festival of Redemption know as the Passover, and Christ as the Lamb of God. This sermonic demonstration is visual, so you will actually see a table set with traditional Passover items. David Brickner uses Scripture as well as the visual items to walk through a Jewish Passover seder, weaving the story of the Exodus together with the life, death and resurrection of Christ. The words He spoke in the upper room come alive as each Hebraic item is carefully explained.

Mr. Brickner, what a fantastic presentation of some of the Jewish culture and customs. I grew up as a Baptist but my background is Jewish on both sides of my family. My father was a Soviet Jew . Because of persecution, my parents kept quiet about our ancestry, not because of cowardice but because Hitler was in power at the time and my parents worried about our being sent to Germany from Brazil, during the war. They did not care about them but they cared about their children, who would be Jews, also. As a result of their silence, I ached to know everything about my heritage; I always felt my identity tied up with the Jewish people that I so love and respect. Again, thank you for your beautiful lesson. May our Eternal God bless you and all your family.

Its not talking about clean your house, its talking about God wants your body clean, your body is a dwelling, a temple of God. God wants our body cleaned. The leaven bread and the unleavened represents how are temple should be kept clean, this means that our body should be as pure as the unleavened bread for the leavened bread represents those that are unclean, those that are not washed from their sin through the blood on the posts in ancient days, which modern days is the blood of the lamb Jesus Christ. Clean our body's which are Gods Temple, not the house in which was built by man's hands.

I'm a person that takes the Bible literally. So the Original Passover was eaten with lamb or goat, bitter herbs, and unleavened bread. God said to continue doing this until forever. Who actually changed it? Was it changed a few times during the millennia? He said the Rabbi's disagree on the meaning and they added all these rituals and meanings to each item that they added. This is what's wrong with organized religion. I do mean all of them. Human add and take away from God's Word so much it is hard to figure out. Then you get the heads of each religion telling you what and how to worship. I'm sticking with following God's Word, His Son Christ Jesus, and His Holy Spirit. I believe as long as I do that and pray without ceasing, Jehovah God will lead me to the narrow gate to Heaven. Peace be with you.

There are not 3 Gods, nor is there 3 Gods in One God. ... Matthew 28:19 Baptize in the Name of the father, Son, Holy Spirit is "Jesus"... Notice it says Baptize in the Name = Singular, Not Names = plural. Acts 4:12. There's No other name under Heaven by which we must be saved...”Jesus” Col 2:9. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the “Godhead” bodily.. We’re being Baptized into the Death & Resurrection of Jesus, the Holy Spirit didn’t die on the Cross, the Father in the Body of Jesus did. If you've seen me, you've seen the Father ! The Father & I are One, not two or three. Ephs 4: [5] One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, [6] One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and “IN” you all.. The Disciples "Never" Baptized in Trinity, they baptized in the Name of Jesus, Jesus Christ, Lord Jesus, Jesus of Nazareth. because there aren’t 3 God’s. Jesus is God w/ us = Immanuel. Isaiah 45: [5] I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: 6] That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is “None Beside Me”. I am the LORD, and there is None Else..… This is why the Word Trinity isn’t in the Bible, we’re not suppose to make up words or change scripture to suit ourselves.. Rev. 22: 18,19

The Torah instructs that three foods are eaten: the roasted Passover lamb, bitter herbs (maror), and matzah. Drink wine. NOTHING ELSE! ““When יהוה your Elohim does cut off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land, guard yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire about their mighty ones, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their mighty ones? And let me do so too.’ “Do not do so to יהוה your Elohim, for every abomination which יהוה hates they have done to their mighty ones, for they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire to their mighty ones. All the words I am commanding you, guard to do it - do not add to it nor take away from it.” ‭‭Deḇarim (Deuteronomy)‬ ‭12:29-32‬ ‭TS2009‬‬ DONT ADD TO THE WORD! KEEP MAN TRADITION OUT! Do not follow Jewish customs nor traditions. Follow the scripture. “‘And they shall eat the flesh on that night, roasted in fire - with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. ‘Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire, its head with its legs and its inward parts. ‘And do not leave of it until morning, and what remains of it until morning you are to burn with fire. ‘And this is how you eat it: your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And you shall eat it in haste. It is the Pĕsaḥ of יהוה.” ‭‭Shemoth (Exodus)‬ ‭12:8-11‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

Sorry folks. Your jesus has nothing to do with passover or Pesach. It is said that jesus was the passover lamb that takes away the sins of the world. First problem is that Pesach is not about a sin sacrifice. It is about remembering YHWH as the God who brought Israel out of Egypt by His mighty works through the plagues. Not a man who died on a cross. The lambs that were slain were not sin sacrifices but a sacrifice of remembrance or feast of remembrance. Nowhere in the story of the exodus will you find sin as the reason or purpose of the lambs to be slaughtered. The idea that that a lamb was offered on passover for sin is a new testament concept only. The lambs were also known to be worshiped in Egypt as gods. The plagues in the exodus were against the gods of Egypt as YHWH had stated. Moses reffered to them as the abomination of Egypt: Exo_12:12 For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am YHWH. Exo 8:26 (8:22) And Moses said: 'It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to YHWH our God; lo, if we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, will they not stone us? Secondly human flesh and blood are not kosher for a sacrifice of any kind according to Torah. Human blood outside of the body is considered unclean an it cannot cleanse or make anything pure. Offering human flesh would be an abomination to God as much as offering a pig would be. Torah makes no provision for a man to be offered to YHWH as an acceptable sacrifice for sin or any other reason. But it would be acceptable in a pagan ritual. Lev 1:1 YHWH called unto Moses, and spoke unto him out of the tent of meeting, saying: Lev 1:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When any man of you bringeth an offering unto YHWH, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd or of the flock. Passover lambs that were offered were to be without blemish. No bruising, no bleeding, no broken bones and no thorns attached to it prior to being offered. It was to be slaughtered humanely and not violently. It was to be roasted and eaten and what remained in the morning after the seder was to be burned. Jesus was not and is not a "lamb of God" that was sacrificed. He was a man like the rest of us and died like the rest of us have or will. Jesus is another god by another name by another testament. Worshiping him as God is idolatry and it is abominable to YHWH to do so. Passover for christians and messianics is just a veiled easter celebration of a false god. According to God.

Wonderful presentation! I like how you told the audience that the new covenant has to do with the writing of the law "in our heart".and not as many christian teach...the end of the law.I do hope that we all get the message that the new covenant has nothing to do with the changing of God's seventh day weekly sabbath and that they will start thinking right by realising that the seventh day weekly sabbath is a part of God's perfect, holy , just and good law. See Ecclesiastes 12:13 ,14..... ..Exodus 20: 8-11....Romans 7:12..... John 14:15. Let's hope your audience also realise that the seventh day weekly sabbath WILL BE KEPT IN HEAVEN....NOT SUNDAY. See Isaiah 66: 22 ,23

Israel must Passover again in these last days and come out of Egypt again because Israel the STATE is not Israel the land (thank you Doreen) no matter how much the carnal mind wants to make them as one; God knows the difference as he knows the TRUTH of the Bible even if Jews and Christians DO NOT know the truth and blaspheme the WORD (which should be eaten without sin/leaven in it): THE WORD IS FULL OF LEAVEN FROM THE RELIGIONS OF JUDAISM and Christianity: The heart is a beast that moves from Babylon through all nations (Israel is the heart) till it finds its REST (Sabbath) in God through his HOLY ONE, his anointing. The earth is the LORDS and the fullness thereof and it is HASHEM who created the evil first so he could FORM the good out of it and within it. it is blasphemy to speak of God as a human, even if he does "FORM" himself into the inner MAN of our heart. The VOV in YHVH's name. Man is a spiritual being, a life giving spiritual Man is not the same as a 'male' who bleeds red blood that doesn't do anything for sin: Any animal can be a male but no animal is MAN unless he is converted to MAN the image and likeness of God. THE BLOOD OF CHRIST IS THE ANOINTING that God gave, his blood transforms our heart from a beast to MAN by renewing it and our mind: though your sins be as scarlet (red animate blood) they will be white as snow (CHRISTS BLOOD iS THE LIGHT and ANOINTING OF GOD that must RISE IN US to the place of the skull where the anointing becomes the CROWN OF LIFE in us and gives us the MIND OF CHRIST that overcomes the sin nature, the man of sin, the son of perdition, our EGO that comes from the seed of the serpent, the carnal mind that is enmity with God and can not know God or the things of GOD: the only way the whole bible fits together along with Abraham's descendants is if both Judaism and Christianity understand the Bible spiritually which makes the TORAH a tree of life in us. When MESSIAH rises, he overcomes the beastly heart that moved from East to West through ALL NATIONS and removes the abomination that causes Desolation by cutting Abraham's covenant that he made with Melchizedek (King of righteousness) that is the order David is from because David is the GOOD PART of the heart that gives birth to Messiah so he can raise Israel to the place of the skull (Keter) or raise the anointing from the heart to the place the Jew binds the law on his forehead, showing where the LAW is fulfilled by the anointing: MESSIAH will turn the STATE OF ISRAEL into the Land of Israel for the inheritance of the anointed: The adulterous woman Jesus saves from being stoned (having the law thrown at her) is Israel the heart of the temple, whom Messiah saves and those who come against her after committing adultery with her, (the EGOS of the nations whom she also commits adultery with) their names are written in the dust by Jesus: The carnal mind and ego is killed at the time of Messiah's appearing. Jer 17:13 LORD, you are the hope of Israel; all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the LORD, the spring of living water. (which to me is the anointing. Jesus is the INNER MAN or treasure of Judas who hung himself, nobody hung him: He hung himself in the POTTERS FIELD of blood and God is the POTTER of the vessel of vanity that is destroyed along with the animate desires that no longer rule in heaven, when Messiah is given to the HIGH PRIEST (Aaron) who gives him the 30 pieces of silver or DESIRE FOR MESSIAH: Judas held the treasure which is the ANOINTING that INVERTS the soul from root to CROWN (KETER) so the anointing can go from the root to the HEAD and run down the beard and skirts of Aaron (priesthood): EVERYTHING IS METAPHOR of a REALITY that Jews alone took a vow to perform (Nahum 1:15): Crucified means "Joining the anointing or good root or TREE OF LIFE to the tree of knowledge to save the tree of knowledge: Jesus Christ is the tree of life nailed to the tree of knowledge that is YOUR BRAIN. If Jews performed their vow they would understand all this and all this confusion would be over:

When I learned about the pagan traditions in christianized holidays, I quit observing them (easter and christmas) and started observing what god of the Bible has told us to do, to keep the Sabbath and the Holy Feasts. Along with keeping the feast, especially Passover, came the "seder" meal. However, I recently learned the Seder has nothing to do with what we're commanded by God to do as described in Exodus. There's 3 things we're supposed to partake of during the Passover meal. LAMB. Unleavened BREAD. And BITTER HERBS. Not mashed potatoes, lettuce, shank bone or crackers. Only LAMB. Unleavened BREAD. BITTER HERBS. Anything more, anything less is not doing the will of Yahweh. Where did the traditions of the Seder meal come from? Straight out of the apostate Talmud. The Talmud is the teachings and traditions of Judaism. The Talmud is an affront and slap in the face to Jesus the Messiah. Why do we rarely see lamb meat served at Seder dinners? Because in Judaism, and the Talmud, they hate Jesus the Messiah, who WAS the sacrifice. They will not acknowledge Him. Why would we want to do any of the practices and customs of the Talmud?! The Lamb signifies Jesus. They don't want anything to do with it, which is why they disrespect Him by just putting a bone on the plate. The other parts of the Seder dinner have roots in paganism as well. Are we going to follow the Word of God? Or the Talmud which is the tradition of the Pharisees, who Jesus called a brood of vipers & and said their father was satan. They were of "mixed multitude", mixed seed, in Hebrew "aravrav". We know what the Bible says about the mixed multitude - they are the ones who brought into the Israelite nation when they left Egypt, mysticism, paganism, satanic rituals. God told us not have anything to do with them. If you do the Seder meal according to these traditions, then you have not left paganism after all. You might as well go back to celebrating easter and christmas with the other compromising christianized pagans. If you really want to do Passover correctly, according to how God told us to do it, and the significance of doing it HIS way, take a look at this short video by a reformed jew who grew up in Judaism, and forsake that when he found Jesus: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Zpd7s499ht3AnpM.html

No no he commanded ALL ppl. The native and the STRANGER. Exodus 12:49, Numbers 15:29. It's always been about ONE FAITH. Where is there a seder in scripture? you'll never find it. REPENT OF THESE TRADITIONS OF MAN!

It is awesome that Abba is gathering his children to celebrate together. But Please refer this feast biblically, as the bible/Torah lays it out! It is NOT a JEWISH feast. And it never had been. It is YHWH's feast! and it is for ALL the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, which is all 12 tribes, not just Judah. When the command was given, all the tribes were together. In the new testament, it was mostly only Yahudim who had returned from captivity to the land. but as scripture says when we go into the nations, ie referencing all 12 tribes, we are not to do as the heathen do, hence all the tribes should be keeping this feast. Many still do not know who they are yet. When calling it a Jewish feast, many Christians see themselves as separate and that Passover and all the commands, do not apply to them. Referring to it as YHWHs feast would do better at bringing the " lost 10" back into the fold." Thank you for the teaching.

    * Yeshua Is "The Lamb OF God Who Takes Away The Sin Of The World". Not "The Passover Of The Jews". Which Wasn't Meant For Taking Away Sin. * Moses Served No Wine At Passover. And Yeshua Served No "passover lamb" As His Body Nor Blood. * Yeshua Said "As Often As You Do This (Bread & Wine) Do This In Remembrance Of Me". And Not WHEN You Do This ONCE A Year AT Passover. * Paul Wrote In The Greek: "Cleanse Out the OID LEAVEN That You May Be A New Lump As You Are UNLEAVENED. For OUR Passover ALSO Has Bee Sacrificed, EVEN Christ. So Let Us Keep The Feast (Of Unleavened Bread) Not With The OLD LEAVEN Nor With The LEAVEN Of Malice And Wickedness But With The UNLEAVENED BREAD Of Sincerity And TRUTH." - 1Cor.5:7-9

The concept of the Messiah has its foundation in our Jewish Bible, the Tanach, which teaches that all of the following criteria must be fulfilled before any person can be acknowledged as the Messiah: The Messiah must be from the Tribe of Judah and a Descendant of King David AND King Solomon The Messiah must be a member of the tribe of Judah (Genesis 49:10) and a direct descendant of King David & King Solomon (2 Samuel 7:12-14; 1 Chronicles 22:9-10). Genealogy in the Bible is only passed down from father to son (Numbers 1:1-18). There is no evidence that Jesus really had this pedigree, and the Christian Bible actually claims that he did not have a “birth-father” from the tribe of Judah descending from King David and King Solomon (Matt. 1:18-20). Ingathering of the Jewish Exiles When the Messiah is reigning as King of Israel, the Jews will be ingathered from their exile and will return to Israel, their homeland (Deut. 30:3; Isaiah 11:11-12; Jeremiah 30:3, 32:37; Ezekiel 11:17, 36:24). This has clearly not yet happened and we still await its fulfillment. Rebuilding of the Holy Temple The Temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt (Isaiah 2:2-3, 56:6-7, 60:7, 66:20; Ezekiel 37:26-27; Malachi 3:4; Zech. 14:20-21). The Temple was still standing in Jesus’ day. It was destroyed 38 years after Jesus’ crucifixion and it has not yet been rebuilt. Worldwide Reign of Peace There will be universal disarmament and worldwide peace with a complete end to war (Micah 4:1-4; Hoseah 2:20; Isaiah 2:1-4, 60:18). Wars have increased dramatically in the world since the start of Christianity. Observance of the Torah Embraced by All Jews The Messiah will reign as King at a time when all the Jewish people will observe G-d’s commandments (Ezekiel 37:24; Deut. 30:8,10; Jeremiah 31:32; Ezekiel 11:19-20, 36:26-27). Out of all groups and religions, in the world CHRISTIANITY is responsible for more wars and more COLD BLOODED MURDER than ANY GROUP or religion in the world and in history! Ever hear of the Holocaust? That's NOT the only time Christian's have been torturing Jewish people to death, burning Jewish people alive. GOD said dare not touch my annointed ones. Christian's have the most MURDER to be responsible for. REPENT! Turn to the ONLY GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Pray straight to THE FATHER! GOD ALONE shall you worship.
