I have understood this since I was a child… what you have taught is completely truth. It is so sad how most Christians are wrong believing that He was crucified on Friday. If He died on Friday and resurrected on Saturday (middle night as they believe) then he would have not been three days and three nights in the “heart of the Earth”. The prophecy would have not been done! The power, the honor and the glory be to our Messiah Yeshua ha Mashiaj!

@@marcusgomez3307 Scripture doesn't say 72 hrs, though, it say three days and three nights. I don't worship on the venerable day of the sun, or believe in the Friday to Sunday timeline. Just wanted to share the Truth. I hear a lot of people use this 72 hrs stuff, which is not in Scripture, anywhere.

It does not need to be exactly 3 days and nights. Jesus ressurected on the 3rd day(Sunday morning); however, he died on the 1st day, Friday evening. Sabbath is the 2nd day. Why should Jesus have to be so calculative exactly 72 hrs to come back to life again!😂😂😂😂

1:00:00 this time line makes the palm sunday the wrong day of observing jesus' triumphal entry into jerusalem. but considering what luke declared about the buying of the spices, the timeline you offer ties up account removing all seeming contradictory or unclear elements of the account of jesus' week of jerusalem entry, last supper, trial, crucifixion, burial and resurrection. bless you for this very thorough, completely biblical account devoid of suppositions or opinions.

The first challenge I have for 119 ministries is to not assimilate the passover with the feast of unleavened bread. In Lev 23 it states the passover meal is to be done at dusk of the 14th day of the first month. Passover kicks off the feast of unleavened bread. Which is 7 days long. Feasts in the Bibles are multiple days long.

Dusk is after sundown which is them Thursda y the 15th of Nisan a High day sabbath. I believe the Passover and 1st day of unleaven bread can be combined as thet both were observed at the same time.

The passover was eaten at dusk [sundown] Wednesday the 14th, after sun down it would have been the 15th the high dy sabbath on Thursday. Jesus was crucified on the 14th Wenesday at 3:00pm, he was the Passover lamb. Wednesday was the day of preparation for passover and the beginning of the 7 days of unleavened bread. Ministries 119 have it right along with several other videos on this subject with the same timeline.

Amen, I am so glad that we have the internet to bring us truth and churches are NO longer in control of their centuries-old pagan doctrines. Now People have a CHOICE on what to acept as scriptural truth.

I was taught years ago that He died on a Wednesday. I always knew He couldn’t have died on a Friday like we celebrate because it would mean Him not being in the tomb long enough. I also heard way back in the 90s that there were some translation errors in the words concerning the Feasts. However, I’ve never seen anyone put the facts and verses all together in one teaching like this, which carefully examines as well as explains the different aspects of the whole timeline. Much kudos to you all! A great job.

* “Week” in strong’s concordance is # 4521. “Sabbaton.” So Jesus Christ rose on a Saturday(Sabbath). The text actually reads in Matthew 28:1 BUT late in the day of the Shabbath, as it began to grow light to that one Shabbath to come, came Miryam of Migdal and the other Miryam and beheld the sepulchre. And in all the parallel Texts. It’s called 1st Sabbath because there are 7 Sabbaths from Passover to Pentecost!

Pretty well done. I would hasten to mention that in your reason #4 you failed to point out that ARTOS "bread" is also used when referring to Jesus breaking of artos with the disciples at Emmaus in Luke 24:30.. If artos always means leavened bread this would indicate Yeshua handled leavened bread in the MIDDLE of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, thereby violating the Torah. CLEARLY, artos does not ALWAYS mean leavened bread. Since it cannot be proven either way, it makes more sense to me that the Last Supper would have been with unleavened bread, since 1), Yeshua said it represented his body and he was a fulfillment of unleavened bread, and 2) if the upper room had been prepared by the owner for Yeshua to use for Passover, it seems likely that all leaven would have been removed. Otherwise, good job, especially with the calendar graphic!!

Good point either way. But I think we both agree Jesus was the Passover Lamb, otherwisw why is he referenced as the Lamb so often in the book of Revelation?

The best teaching on the subject that I have come across. Not only does it cover the Last Supper/Passover question, it also deciphers the three nights and three days prophecy fulfillment as Yeshua's ONLY sign. I have to admit that I struggled with this topic many years while still in church, especially the question of how He uses leavened bread (G0740 artos) to symbolize his body. It was until I realized that my sins were represented in the leavened bread. He went to the cross full of sin, not of is own but the sins of every believer. I would also like to add two more elements to the debate: First, Ex 12:22 is very specific "and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.". Well, "if" the Last Supper would have been a Pesach Seder, nobody would have expected Judas to go into town to "buy those things that we have need of against the feast" John 13:29 and neither would have Yeshua gone out to pray in the garden. The second thing is that it's very unlikely that a priest in the temple would have slayed their lamb one day before the indicated time in the Torah. Yay! Praise God. You are confirming what I just found out last night studying John's gospel. What you did not mention and was my starting point is John 18:28.The priests didn't want to enter the "hall of judgement" that morning when Yeshua was being judged because they did not want to be defiled so they could eat passover that night. So Yeshua died that day at 3pm then they ate the passover. So Yeshua could not have had Passover Seder at the Last Supper. It was just a regular evening meal. Plus, I stumbled on "protos" and read that it could also mean "before". God bless you guys. Chag Pesach Sameach to you all

Yes you are exactly right. I don't know why people will make a big deal about the passover meal) when as you have pointd out Jesus was on trial when the priests didn't want to be defiled before EATING THE PASSOVER MEAL.. This SHOULD the whole problem.

The best teaching I have heard on this challenging subject. It becomes much less challenging though when we understand the feasts of Yah and that they all have to do with His plan of salvation, and that He never makes mistakes. Yeshua was our Passover lamb, plain and simple, no matter how convoluted the translators might have made it seem. He also would not have messed up on the Jonah connection, nor would the religious leaders wanting to deny Him as messiah have let Him slide on misquoting scripture or prophesying falsely about Himself.

The choice was there’s and is ours. Proposals are expressed and an agreement is made between two parties. Possibly the Seudah Maphseheket. A traditional meal eaten on the evening before the Passover lamb was sacrificed. The participants would then fast until the Passover lamb was sacrificed and eaten the following evening.

Simply look up from the Jewish calendar what day the 15th of Adib falls on this year. That will be this year's Passover meal (or from a christian perspective, the Last Supper).

Why couldn’t He enjoy the last meal with His disciples as He had done all His life? There is no contradiction for Him to partake in the meal, introduce the new symbols to be implemented after His departure and then become the Passover Lamb later that same day. Not one jot or tittle shall in no wise be removed until all is fulfilled... all the steps must be followed, hence the sopping and passing of the bread to Judas... catching every detail inclusive of the betrayer's role. The preparation for an event has always been one of great detail, even to the receiving of the commandments at Mnt Sinai. Israel had to wash their cloths, not sleep with their wives, come ready and expectant of great things outside of self pleasure... the weekly Sabboth comes in preparation for the rest completed in readiness to observe, and onward to the Moedm. We are of the mindset of the happening event as being all important.. but the importance to the readiness of the event for the people is evident throughout the scriptures... The Last Supper was the cleaning up of the leaven in preparation, the leaven of interpretation of Torah and the Prophets in fullness had to be followed, preparing the apostles for the Passover's Reality that it would manifest in Yashugn's sacrifice for us. The Preparation day is of great importance, it is the readying of the congregation to receive God's Truths and Fulfillments in the observance of his Torah precepts. Jesus could not break a single law in order to fulfill that which he was sent forth to accomplish.

Jesus was the ultimate Passover lamb!! All the Passovers since the exodus pointed to Jesus!!! Why do you think John the Baptist called Him 'The Lamb of God'? God wanted Him to die exactly when the passover lamb was to be killed and that's exactly what happened! Also, had He not died late Wednesday He would not be in the tomb for 72 hours or 3 days and nights! Jesus told people how long He would be buried Matthew 16:4 & Luke 11:29. So you are saying Jesus lied!!! He is not a liar, He has perfect character!!!!! Jesus could not eat the Passover meal with the desciples because He was already dead hours before the Passover meal! I don't care what other scholars say I care what God says in His word the Bible! The trouble with this world is there are way too many clueless so called scholars!!! As for Luke 22:15 it says Jesus desired to eat the passover meal with the desciples not that He did. You obviously have misread this verse. Hi. I’m a little bit confused on one issue. Your coleader at 911 ministries taught something a little different to my understanding on his video called Mo’edim. Please look up Exodus 29:38-41. This passage appears to clearly indicate that twilight is at a different time than morning for certain. Leading me to believe the twilight is evening. Would appreciate your feedback. Thank you.

Exodus 16 will give you the Biblical definition of Ben ha arbyim (between the two evenings). You will note that it follows bar erev (sunset), so you are correct. It is the time from sunset to dark-twilight.

I’m confused now because I’m forsure yahshua clearly states that he desired to keep the Passover with the 12 in Luke 22 and also he instructs Peter to go prepare the Passover meal. I mean right now as I’m writing I’m about 46min in maybe this is addressed but if not this makes no sense to me.

@@GODISGOOD1958 No this teaching is correct. He wanted to eat the Passover with them but could not because he had to die as the passover. He fullfiled the Passover as being the Passover himself. In Exodus 29 you will find that there are two sacrifices done on the 14th one in the morning and the actual Passover meal in the evening.

There were also those who still obeyed God by observing the ceremony at home during Christ’s time. By introducing the new symbols at the Passover supper, there is no contradiction for Him to become the Passover Lamb later that same day. I believe Christ when He said that He would eat the Passover with the disciples. He kept it at the exact time established by Him and His Father.

Because the 10th day of the month was the 7th day Sabbath. -> Savior’s entry into Yerushalem: (Matt_21:1-11; Mark 11:1-11; Luke 19:29-44; John 12:12-19) Notes: Leaving Bĕyth Anyah (Bethany), the Savior stops at Bethphage a village (of Essenes) on the declivity of Mount Olivet, and somewhat nearer to Jerusalem than Bethany (Matt_21:1-2; Mark 11:1; Luke 19:29), a distance of just over eight furlongs and sends two of His taught ones to fetch a colt (Matt_21:1-7; Mark 11:1-7; Luke 19:29-35; John 12:14-15; Zec_9:9). - Then proceeds on to Yerushalem (a distance of seven furlongs or a Sabbath day’s journey, ¾ of a mile) with the rest of the remaining of that day’s events that followed. - This means that the Savior traveled a distance of just over two miles (fifteen furlongs, 3 kilometers) one way. - They hear a voice from heaven (John 12:28-30), however, in Matt 17:5-6; Mark 9:6; Luke 9:34-36, they place this event in the prior year at the time of the Savior’s transfiguration. - At the end of the day He goes back to Bethphage for the night (Matt_21:17; Mark 11:11). If you read Matthew 27:62-66, this means that the religious leaders (Pharisees) conducted business (with Pilot), performed labor (work) in making the sealing compound and sealed the tomb and in addition defiled themselves by touching the tomb (Num_19:11-20; Lev_21:1, 11; Eze_39:15). Then rolling the stone away, going inside the tomb to check n make sure it’s the right body (that there’s a body and it was the Savior’s) in the tomb, then rolling the stone back n sealing the tomb. Then the placement of the Roman guards. All this work was done on the 7th day Sabbath? Problem #2: On the day before Palm Sunday (which means the 7th day Sabbath), He arrives in Bĕyth Anyah (Bethany John 12:1) from Ephrayim (John 11:54) traveling a distance of 10 miles on the 7th day Sabbath? Problem #3: The math! This was six days before the event of Passover, now add the day of the event (Passover), doesn’t that equal seven (6+1=7) days? Question, how many days are there in a week? Last I counted there were seven days. So, if He entered into the city on Sunday and Passover being six days later, this would put Passover on the 7th day Sabbath (Saturday) not on the 6th day of the week (Good Friday), yes? Let’s test this out-> He enters into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday is 6 days before Passover (Good Friday?) John 12:1-19 = day 1; Monday is 5 days before Passover = day 2; Tuesday is 4 days before Passover = day 3; Wednesday is 3 days before Passover = day 4; Thursday is 2 days before Passover = day 5; Friday is 1 day before Passover = day 6; Saturday (7th day Sabbath) is the day of Passover = day 7 (Good Saturday?)! Problem #4: Also, in keeping with- If He died on the 6th day of the week Good Friday. This would place the day He enters into Jerusalem on Saturday (six days before is the 7th day Sabbath (“Palm” Saturday/“Palm” Sabbath?)) not the 1st day of the week (“Palm Sunday”). On the day He entered into Jerusalem He travels a distance of just over two miles, which according to “Jewish” law would constitute a journey of a distance of that which exceeds what, is allowed to travel on the 7th day Sabbath (Sabbath day’s journey (¾ of a mile). According to Jubilees 50:12-13 anyone who goes on a journey on the Sabbath is to die! In addition, He caused an animal to carry a burden (Exo_20:10; Exo_23:12; Deu_5:14, Him) and people cut down and carried tree branches (Matt_21:18; Mark 11:8; John 12:13- Num_15:32-36). Any one or all three of the above three events would cause the religious leaders to have conniption fits! There would be allot of people to be stoned on that day or the next. In conclusion: As you can see “Palm Sunday” and “good Friday” just does not work out.

In addition to this very clear explanation, one more reason that the last supper was not a Feast meal consisting of lamb, and bitter herbs, and unleavened bread, is that Yahushua and His disciples WENT OUT into the night to pray in the garden of Gethsemene after their meal. IF the meal the disciple ate with Messiah had actually been the feast meal of a slain lamb, a Passover lamb, then Yahusha would have broken the Exidus 12 command that they could not leave their dwelling places or exit their houses until morning. Yahusha would not break Torah and lead his disciples out into the night if it was the night of the feast meal, if it was the 15th of Abib, if it was the actual First day of unleavened bread. The Israelites did not go out after eating the slain lamb feast meal and had to remain in their dwellings until morning.

Leviticus 23 sets the stage of the rules UNDER THE LAW. Keep in mind that THE LAW OF MOSES did not exist until Exodus 20, not Exodus 12.

49:27 mark & luke's recording of the women buying spices could only indicate that they bought it between two sabbaths which could only mean there was a day between the feast of unleavened bread (the annual or high sabbath) and the weekly sabbath. this is confirmed by john's recording the apostle's mistaken notion that jesus was sending judas to buy what was needed for the feast of unleavened bread which means they had the meal the night before the feast of unleavened bread. it is not unusual that jesus had the room for the observance of the feast of unleavened bread (nisan 15) prepared the day before (nisan 14) and expressing his desire to observe it for he knew he could not this time.

I might also add that Judas could not have been getting anything for a Passover meal as everything would have been closes because everyone was eating the passover meal at that time.

They all had homes, AND the next morning was not a Holy day, SO Judas or anyone else could have purchased whatever was needed IF anything AND People were not crucified ON A HOLY DAY, & This is WHY the Jews wanted all bodies off the Cross because the HIGH HOLY DAY WAS ABOUT TO BEGIN. See John 19:31. U may already know about this BUT I do not know that.

Originally, observance of ALL of the ANNUAL Holy Convocations, required a blood sacrifice, e.g. See > Leviticus 23:1-44; Exodus 12:14-28; Exodus 23:14-19; Numbers 28:16-25; Numbers 29:1-11; Deuteronomy 16:1-8; Nehemiah 8:13-18. Matthew, Mark and Luke, each one says that the Passover, which was the Last Supper, was kept. All 3 Gospels in the Greek text have the word: Pascha, Passover and John in 13:1 has the same word. Matthew, Mark and Luke do not contradict John. Jesus and disciples held the Passover Seder before the prescribed date in the Bible. Jesus had to institute the Covenant and he had to die on the day the lambs died. Leviticus 23: 5 and 6: In the fourteenth day of the first month at evening is the Lord's Passover and on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread. Seven days you must eat unleavened bread. David did that which was not lawful when he took the Bread for himself and his men to eat. Yet, David was found to be blameless. So Jesus, who is greater than David, performed the weighter act of instituting the Covenant for us. Jesus is blameless.

There was a condition to be met before David and his men were allow to eat the shewbread. 1 Samuel 21:4-7 (KJV) 4 And the priest answered David, and said, There is no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women. 5 And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women have been kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and the bread is in a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel. 6 So the priest gave him hallowed bread: for there was no bread there but the shewbread, that was taken from before the Lord, to put hot bread in the day when it was taken away.

Passover Lamb was used as a remembrance, NOT to atone for sin. Twilight on the 14th, according to Torah, makes the next 24 hrs "Passover". So... starting at 9AM-3PM all sin, guilt and thanksgiving sacrifices were done on "Passover Day". At 3pm, the final Lamb was sacrificed to end that day of blood offerings (called the Tamid Lambs, one in morning and one in afternoon). YESHUA (as John the Baptist and the Book of Hebrews clarifies) was the final atonement, the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world. It baffles me how people try to make the Bible contradict itself to fit their own traditions and practices. The answers are in God's word.

It’s so crazy to me how the night of the 14th, with the 15th day being a memorial feast to the Lord, somehow means the 13th at evening. I used to keep it this way for years, but it never quite made sense to me. Once I figured out why, everything else came together and fit so perfectly. The lambs are to be killed on the 14th, but eaten that night, on the 15th, the night of solemn observance and the day that is commemorated as the day God passed over the Israelites and delivered them out of Egypt - unleavened. This fits with the instructions for the daily sacrifices (in which the *second* lamb of the day was to be killed at twilight), the example of Josiah’s Passover (in which they slaughtered tens of thousands of animals), and even the clear gospel of John - not to mention the thousands of years of history from sources like the Jews and even secular historians such as Josephus. The 14th was the day of preparation for the (unleavened) memorial feast which began at sundown and continued for seven days. To make the last supper a Passover is to deny that He was *the* Lamb which was slain for us (how do you eat it before it is slain?), not to mention there is no mention of lamb, bitter herbs, or even unleavened bread in any of the gospel accounts. To change it to the 13th at evening rewrites Torah and masks the importance of His death being the perfect fulfillment of the Lamb slain for us from the foundation of the world, just as if He wasn’t 3 days and 3 nights in the grave. If that were true and He actually died at the “wrong time,” it would mean He wasn’t the Messiah. To make the last supper a Passover observance emphasizes the importance of the meal He had, rather than the death that He died. The new covenant did not begin when He passed the cup. It began when His blood was shed. That is why we commemorate the night of the 14th and the 15th day - not the 13th at evening.

45:26 leviitcus commanded unleavened bread to be eaten for seven days during the seven-day feast of unleavened bread. matthew, mark and luke used "artos" when writing about the lord's last supper with his disciples before he was sacrificed. and so did paul wrote of artos when writing about the lord's supper 1 cor 11) but azumos when writing about the feast "let us eat the unleavened bread..." (1 cor 5) we can confidently conclude jesus had leavened bread at this last supper. only unleavened bread can be eaten with the passover lamb. so what jesus and his disciples had that night could not be the passover meal. note too, that the lord's supper was a frequent observance through out the year (v18) whereas the passover meal can only be had once a yar

Yes, I did a search to eventually confirm your point which is huge, ( well done!) confusing a Jewish religious ritual stemming from leaving in haste with no time to use yeast in their bread with Jesus becoming our Passover Lamb. The Jews completely missed the symbolism pointing to Jesus prophetically given to them from the Most High in their rituals. Jesus was not a religious legalist, he was a radical who turned the religious order of the day upside down, and that's why they killed him. The early believers gradually withdrew from the Synagogues ( if they were not thrown out) and drew to remembrance the supreme sacrifice of Jesus when they met together for prayer and fellowship centred around a shared meal as Jesus did at the last supper and instructed his disciples to do likewise before he was betrayed and became the sacrificial lamb at Passover. Earlier in his ministry, Jesus made it quite plain that it was not what we put in our mouth that is important, rather that which comes out of it. @@adobeb98 YIKES! thank you for your careful reading. yes, that should read azumos. thank you for finding out for yourself and not just taking my or anyone's word. be blessed! also, what is commanded is to eat unleavened bread seven days. this was to start during the feast of unleavened bread to be eaten with the passover lamb once a year on the night of nisan 15. jesus' command was to have the memorial he instituted on nisan 14 "as often." jesus clearly declared he did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill (as no one had ever done it. the truth is when one breaks a law it is tantamount to breaking all.). and many forget that he added "until heaven and earth pass away, not a jot or a tittle will pass away." so jesus would not have broken the law of eating the passover memorial meal on nisan 15. he had different memorial meal for his death.

The lamb was killed on the 14th between the two evenings, that is between the end of the 13th afternoon and getting dark on the 14th [dusk]. If it was killed on the 13th afternoon that would be too early and if it was killed on the afternoon of the 14th and eaten on the 15th then that would be too late. The death angel came over at midnight on the 14th and the lambs blood had to be on the doorposts before then. The Passover [the death angel] was on the 14th and not on the 15th. The Israelites could not leave their dwellings until dawn on the 14th and did not leave Egypt until the evening of the 15th [Sabbath] Follow Genesis 15 for the pattern. The previous evening when the stars were seen was the evening of the 14th and the period that Abraham had the sacrifice and kept the birds of prey of it was the day time [of the 14th] that time Christ was on the cross or the Israelites were travelling to their meeting place before leaving. When Abraham was in a trance that represented Christ in the tomb on the evening of the Holyday [15th] and Israel's departure from Egypt. What is there to be confused about? 6.41The lamb is not the Passover the death angel was. That is why it is called the Passover [named after the passing over of the death angel] The lamb was the protection from the Passover not the Passover itself. Just as Christ is our protection from the lake of fire [ Mal 4] and eternal death. Christ is not the Passover itself. It called the Passover because the death angel Passed over the Israelites when he saw the blood. Actually both terms can be used -the passing over Egypt and also passing over the houses with the blood on the door posts. This event was on the 14th not the 15th. This has been my understanding since 2002, when I came out of Sunday church. I had an excellent teacher who taught about, “ the death Angel “, YHWH, passing over the “Mark or Sign, the Covering of the Blood on the door posts and lentil”. This Passover occurred at midnight on the 14th, not on the 15th. They were instructed not to leave theirs houses til day break on the 14th. They left Egypt on the 15th at night, the day after the Passover on the 14th. Thank you Robert for your comments. 🙏

I am praying that you are finding your way to our Creator and Messiah; not feeling as lost! :) If you are aware that you are lost, that is a great sign that His Spirit is working in your heart to bring you back to our Father in heaven. His son, Yeshua ha'mashiach, (Jesus the Christ in most Bibles) was sent here to gather the lost sheep of Israel and anyone who wishes to be grafted in to His people. Awakening Faith, Please explain the meaning of what is written in John Chapter 13 verse 29, > "Some thought that, because Judas had the moneybag, Jesus was telling him, “Buy what we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor." Isn't it a little too late to go & buy anything needed for the feast of Passover IF that IS the Passover meal? Anyway please do explain what could have been needed for Passover that the disciples were instructed to prepare for that was not prepared as written about in Luke Chapter 22, verse 8 & verse 13.

BUT the very little I do know about SOME things is MORE than SOME other people & I base this on what they say, AND there was a time I did not know as much, or, as little as they do. The DARK/NIGHT PART OF THE 14th WAS SEVERAL HOURS BEFORE THE LIGHT PORTION OF THAT DAY BEGAN AND THE SAME HOLDS TRUE FOR ANY OTHER DAY. TRY to GRASP THIS!! One day ENDS and another day begins at SUNSET. The NEW day still has SOME LIGHT IN THE BEGINNING BUT IT GRADUALLY GETS DARK!! THEN, as I believe You will agree, it stays dark for several hours UNTIL near SUNRISE which is the beginning of of the LIGHT part of the day called MORNING. THEN we have NOON. The beginning of the FIRST EVENING part of the DAY was AFTER 12pm. The 2nd part of the EVENING of the 14th began at 3pm. The Passover Lambs were killed between sometime after 12pm until sometime shortly before SUNSET on the 14th DAY of Abib. QUESTION fer ya. How is it possible for Yeshua to EAT of the Passover meal WHEN the LAMB had 2 B killed BEFORE it could B eaten AND the Passover Lamb WAS EATEN IN THE DARK HOURS OF A DAY AND THAT DAY HAD TO BE THE 15th of Abib! 2 Things are wrong here… “That SAME NiGHT they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭12‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬ 1. At twilight on the 14th, they kill the lamb and eat the food immediately (the Passover Meal) The Passover meal is at Twilight, the beginning of the 14th. 2. Therefore, Jesus and the disciples are eating the Passover/Seder at the beginning of the 14th and he is crucified on the very same day (at the end of the day.). Therefore being our Passover Lamb as Paul describes. 2. The Lords Supper is the SAME meal as The Passover, not different. That is very clear in Mathew, Mark and Luke.

I disagree, preparation for the passover meal was on the 14th to be eaten at the beginng of the 15th Wednesday night going into the 15th Thursday the High Holy Sabbath. The beginning of the 14th would have been on Tuesday at sundown. The narrator of this topic is correct - why do you think you know more than he?? Why don't you listen to good council??

Maybe your trying to make some other days match up? I’m just looking at what the text says… “and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month, when the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill their lambs at twilight. They shall eat the flesh that night, roasted on the fire; with unleavened bread and bitter herbs they shall eat it.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭12‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭ESV‬‬ “And you shall let none of it remain until the morning; anything that remains until the morning you shall burn.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭12‬:‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Twilight marks the beginning and end of a day. It was killed at twilight, cooked and eaten all at the beginning of the 14th. None of it was to be left until morning (which was still the 14th.). Jesus eats the Passover at the beginning of the 14th, then goes to the garden where the pray and he is then captured. He is then tried through the night in to the morning. (still the 14th), He is then flogged, beaten and crucified. So, he is killed on the evening of the same Passover day, 14th around 3pm and buried just before the beginning of the 15th. “In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight, is the Lord’s Passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.” ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭23‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭ESV‬‬ The Feast of unleavened bread begins on the next day, the 15th.

Can you do a teaching that proves when First Fruits is? From what I’ve researched, the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) seems to be First Fruits. Numbers 28:26 declares First Fruits is after the weeks have passed. Those would be the weeks counted from Unleavened Bread to Shavuot. Which would add credibility that First Fruits is at Pentecost.

The way I understand it, the day of the wave sheaf offering is the day of the firstfruits, which is also the day in which the 50 day / 7 week count begins toward Pentecost. This is also the day in which the freshly risen Christ ascends to the Father, exemplifying the *first* of the firstfruits. I'm now also starting to believe that Christ's second coming will be on this day, rather than Trumpets in the fall. I plan to do more study on that concept for certain, as thus far I've found it to be fascinating.

@@infinityBBC Any material supporting the firstfruits theory? I believe He will return on the Trumpets and the fall feasts are specifically the days of His return (resurrection, judgment, going to heaven, reaching heaven - all Sabbath days). But! I also think that some events will happen on the days of the spring festivals, just like some events happened at the fall feasts during the time of His first coming (He was born on the 1st Day of Tabernacles, circumcised on the 8th Day of Tabernacles, probably began His ministry on the Day of Atonement). So firstfruits (16th Abib) seems to indicate a resurrection of some sorts, while Pentecost indicates the latter rain. Therefore, again the opposite feasts would indicate something about His second coming, but not the actual event. I've read quite a few of your comments replying to different people regarding the topic of this video and I agree that the new covenant Passover was instituted by our Messiah. He ate the Passover on Thursday evening, on the evening of the 14th, then was crucified on Friday on the 14th before the sun set, slept in grave on the Sabbath (the annual Sabbath of the 1st Day of Unleavened Bread fell on the same day as the weekly Sabbath) on the 15th, was resurrected on the 16th, the type met the antitype (14 - Passover, 15 - 1st Day of Unleavened Bread Sabbath Day, 16 - Firstfruits, which was the first day of the week that year). How about instead of arguing in the comment section what the truth is…. Everyone opens up their bibles, pray for understanding from the Holy Spirit and READ THE BIBLE FOR YOURSELVES. Also do ur own research, u can find the history of these so called “Easter (Good Friday), Christmas… holidays on google and through the discernment of the Holy Spirit. Do not depend on your own understanding (as the bible states) and that of other HUMAN beings like yourselves.

I wishn it were that simple. Scriptures state: " Test the spirits!." People have committed the most awful things stating they have the holy spirit or under the influence of the holy spirit. Nope, like I said it is not that simple. It's all about interpretation, interpretation, and interpretation.

[13] And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him. Passover is an event, not a day.

Oops, you forgot about this verse, which indicates He DIED on the 14th of Aviv/Nissan as the Passover/was Hung between the Sabbaths. Jhn 19:14 - Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, “Behold your King! Passover meal is eaten that following sundown, when Unleavened Bread begins. Kill on Passover, eat for dinner that sundown on Unleavened Bread. This is the only time I've disagreed with one of 119M teachings, and it is a confusing point as so much cultural understanding is required to work out the meanings of words.

John Wurfel 👍 👍 We C & hear alike at least N this particular. As for me, I believe, NOW it IS as HE SAID, DO THIS in remembrance of me, AND I believe that means shortly after sunset in the early beginning portion of the 14th of Abib, AND as often as U do it seems 2 mean we can "DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE" @ other times during the year. I always stand 2 B corrected & appreciate ANY correction!! Shalom!!

I’ve recently learned that Rabbis will and have in the days of Yeshua held a teaching Seder with their disciples. We are commanded to eat the Passover in our homes. Yeshua would have done this practice Seder with his disciples. How amazing is the nugget of information.

Beware the leaven of the Pharisees, which became rabbinic Judaism. Numbers 9:14 and Deuteronomy 16:5 easily debunk this notion that Passover must be eaten at home. Mark 7:9 And he said to them, “You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of Elohim in order to establish your tradition!

Do you have a Hebrew calendar you could recommend? Me and my set-apart sister are a day off in observances. We don’t quibble over these differences, but want to be scripturally sound and synced for the festivals. Any recommendations?

The question is, did Jesus ate the last supper or passover meal. Answer: 1) passover lamb was killed on nisan 14, the day Jesus died . 2) passover lamb is eaten that night of nisan 15 as passover meal. 3) Therefore, Jesus ate the nigth of nisan 14 as his last supper.

The evening of the 14th was Wednesday going into thursday after sunset then becoming the 15th, the passover supper began on the evening of the 14th at sunset. Jesus had been crucified on the 14th at 3:00 when the passover lambs were killed, then buried before sunset on the 14th. Why else would Jesus be called our passover lamb?. Why not call the last supper or Lord's supper the Lord's Passover Supper? He did not eat the passover supper.

The passover occurred at night after the lambs were eaten. The lambs sacrifice did not take effect until the angel "passed over" the homes. It was that act they were to celebrate. Not necessarily the act of the sacrifice itself

First, let me start by saying I have been so blessed by your ministry. Praise Yah! There is a very important point that was overlooked in your analysis. That's the Greek word "epiphóskó " (Strongs 2020) which means growing light. This word only appears twice in all the NT writings. It appears the first time when Joseph of Arimathea finished bury Yashua. Luke 23:54 "Now it was the Day of Preparation, and Shabbat was approaching. ("epiphóskó ) The light was growing and the Shabbat was about to begin. The second time "epiphóskó " is used is Matt 28:1 Was AFTER the Shabbat....Sunday (the first day of the week) at sunrise "Now after Shabbat, as it began to dawn ("epiphóskó ) on the first day of the week, Miriam of Magdala and the other Miriam saw an angel roll away the stone. The burial and the Resurrection both occurred at sunrise. (epiphóskó ) 72 hours apart. Thank you again for your wonderful ministry.

That's a really good point to consider. Thank you for pointing that out. I've been back and forth on this issue with no certain persuasion on either side. Frustrating. 119 Ministries does a very good job of laying so many things out and are very convincing, esp. that the earth and heavens were created in darkness first and THEN there was light...so darkness begins the day. Another point that keeps me from embracing the sunrise to sunrise day is that the Talmud tells us the Pharisees observed a sunset to sunset day during the Messiah's lifetime and He never addressed/corrected this very important issue in scripture. Can you explain that? Would it be possible that some observed sunrise to sunrise and some did not, as some historical records indicate?

When the people saw that Moshe was taking a long time to come down from the mountain, they gather around Aharon and said to him, "Get busy; and make us god's to go ahead of us; because this Moshe, the men that brought us up from the land of Egypt --- we don't know what has become of him. Aharon said to them," Have your wives, sons and daughters strip of the gold earrings; and bring them to me." The people stripped off their golden earrings and brought them to Aharon. He received what they gave him, melt it down, and made it into the shape of a calf. They said, "Isra'el! Here is your god who brought you out of the land of Egypt!" I think another thing that should be examined is "Exo 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a yearling male; ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats.". From what I've found Yahushua could not have been on his 'curcuit' through the cities for '3 years' as most believe. This would invalidate him being the 'passover lamb'. From the time he is declared "Mat 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased'". to the time of the crucifixion has to be just a year or his candidacy would be invalid.

...except their time sequence is incorrect resulting in one observing the Passover on the wrong day.

Also, Jesus did eat the Passover per Lev 23. That is why he said, this is my flesh and blood referring to the wine and bread. This was the same night he would be captured right after he sent Judas out. So, Jesus was the Passover and that is why he said this is my blood and flesh! And right after that he was killed, and the pharisees begged for the romans to take the men down from the stake because that Sabbath was a High Sabbath (Feast of unleavened bread was also on a Saturday, making it a High Sabbath). Do not believe me at all, but let my words encourage you to go and study this and come to your own conclusions. I am just a messenger.

It would be really nice if someone would correct all the bad translations that are in the Bible. With all the technology of today as knowledge has increased it would be awesome to have all these incorrect words that lead to bad doctrine removed from the Bible.

Gramps if you think this is correct then don’t be so quick to throw away anything?! They are off by 24 hours and a mile of scripture ! First let me say it’s called Passover because it caused the Angel of death to Passover the Believers which took place through the Night of “Passover”! Killing of the lamb and spreading the blood on the doorpost as well as Eating the Lamb followed by the Angel of death Passing over all took place as scripture says the “Evening of the 14th”! When is the Evening of the 14th? At sunset on the 13th! At sunset on the 13th starts the evening of the 14th and the beginning of the Passover’s 24hr day! So the preparation for Passover by the Disciples was done on the 13th, at sunset on the 13th started the evening of the 14th or Wednesday, they ate Passover meal, Judas left to betray Christ ! Christ was arrested hours later in the Garden , Christ was questioned though the night by the Pharisees and delivered to Pilot in the morning, he was scourged and Crucified and died before Sundown on the day of Passover! Christ had to die on Passover he is our Passover Lamb!!

I agree. There is notjing so asinine as the Friday till sunday equates to 3 days and 3 nights. After all isn;t this sign Jesus gave the skeptics and non believers. Couldn;t Jesus count. Well the skeptis known as scholars and pastors are still making Jesus a Liar!!!

Didn’t YHWH separate the day from the night? And did Jesus say, “ Are there not twelve hours in the day? “John 11: 9 KJV Thank you.

The weekly Sabbaths fall on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of every month. You can’t try to mixed them with weekly pagan days that did not exist, when you mixed them up every theory falls apart... including this one. Always trying to mix Yah’s calendar with the pagan, it doesn’t work...😡

@@Mikha335 right? My Torah group used to mocked me because I did not keep up with the 6 day work and rest on the Sabbath which I do. They just don’t keep the New Moon festival, I tried to explain to them than on most festival celebrations they were keeping two Sabbaths, the weekly Sabbath and the festival Sabbath if you follow the lunar/solar calendar they always match. Sometimes the Sabbath happens to follow on a Saturday, sometimes... For the past several years Passover has fallen on a Saturday, so they are mixing a “preparation” day and a Sabbath on the same day... 🥴

My walk to Restoration Yes, I find the same thing. I also meet with a Saturday group. Last year, the weekly sabbath followed the first “annual sabbath” of Tabernacles. As a result, everyone just kind of ignored the “annual sabbath”. The scripture is strangely silent on a second sabbath either conflicting with or falling on any day within the the two 7 day feasts. No man made postponements are necessary, and with the New Moon, everything falls into place. But people don’t want to see, they just keep repeating their mantra: “work six days, rest the 7th, work 6 days, rest the seventh...” which they insist has to mean a fixed cycle. And when you show them that it doesn’t in Leviticus 25 regarding the land sabbaths, they say “well that isn’t speaking about the weekly sabbath, therefore it doesn’t apply”.

@@Mikha335 well you’re the first person I talk to that sees that. Even some of the “big guys” still do the Saturday Sabbath, I don’t understand it. Why would Yah give us heavenly signs for every festival but have us follow a man made calendar for the Sabbath 🥴! Makes no sense... they say the Jews never stopped keeping the Sabbath! Didn’t get put out of the land because they stopped and were in exile for 70 years because of it? Any way is refreshing taking to a fellow believer!😊😊

I doubt that it was. Jesus was the Passover lamb and died when the lambs were on the preparation day on the 14 th if Nisan - check with your Bible.

Oh yes you do NEED to watch, It wasn't the Passover meal. Ask yourself whay isn't it called The Lord's Passover Supper???????? Got an answe for that. Open your closed mind and you might learn something besides falling prey to centeries of TRADITION.

is says that exo 12:18...in the 1st month on the 14th day of the month AT EVEN (NIGHT) ye shall eat unleaven bread... so this means that 14th day will start in the morning and lamb slain at 9hr then shall be eaten at night..... in your presentation this already 15th night time it is not matching the verse

Consider: “evening” can mean one of three things: 1. night; 2. sunset (or twilight or “second evening”); 3. going down of the sun (occurring directly after noon, or “first evening”). This matter of various Hebrew meanings of “day/morning” and “night/evening” can certainly be daunting in and of itself, and especially so when also considering translational issues which occur between Hebrew/Greek and English. Cultural colloquialisms at the time the scriptures were written is yet another factor which further complicates the matter of striving to understand the intended usage of the language used by the author.

I love God's law! What I don't love is the constant- no its this way or that way, you forgot this or you forgot that. We are to love God (keep his commandments) and love others (treat them, as I want to be treated). In John 8 the people Christ is talking to most likely kept the correct Sabbaths, ate correct foods and yet Christ calls them children of their father the devil. Let us not forget the weightier matters of the Law, while not loosening them either. We are all imperfect, yet striving to be more like him, everyday. Shalom

Bless you! Thanks so much for this teaching. I’ve been struggling with teachings that Jesus ate the actual Seder meal with his disciples. He could have had the meal of the first born as a prelude to Pesach? He would have had to break or override the Torah to eat the Seder on a different day. The beauty of this is how he fulfilled the festival. The Lord’s Supper is a more appropriate description than a Passover meal. Jesus instituted a commemorative meal of bread and wine for his followers, Jew and gentile, through the ages. And by the way, it’s unlawful to share the Seder with uncircumcised gentiles. So let’s gratefully share the Lord’s supper till his return.

Yeshuah said, With desire I have desired to eat this (Last Supper) Passover with you before I suffer." _Luke __22:15_ That was the eve of (Nisan 14) the 5th day of the week (Wed. evening); On the 5th day (Thursday morning), Yeshuah is prepared to be slaughtered (Isaiah 53: 7). On the 5th day, Yeshua"s Blood (his Soul) enters the earth (GEN. 4:10_ REV. 6: 9-11), as well as his body. Thursday evening is the eve of Unleavened bread, 15th of Nisan, from sundown Thurs. to sundown Fri., a High Sabbath before the Sabbath day (Nisan 16), from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday; at which time begins the 1st day of the week (Sun-day), Nisan 17. He was in the earth already by the end of 1.14; then the eve (of Thurs.) and morning (of Fri./1.15), the 1st day; then (1.16) Friday to Saturday, the 2nd day; then the eve of (1.17) Sat. and ""the morning of the 3rd day""" He has Risen! (Jonah 1:17)_ Amen.

...Claudio...you are correct. I write it out this way: Thursday evening/Friday morning..............day 1............Gen. 1:5........ Friday evening/Saturday morning..............day 2.............Gen. 1:8....... Saturday evening/Sunday morning...........day 3..............Gen. 1:13..... You do realize that Christ, having "finished his work", and rested...arose on the 17th day of the month of Passover......THEN... Gen. 8:4...........the ARK, "finished it's work", and rested..............................on the 17th day/ 7th month...which was the 1st month of their religious calendar...PASSOVER MONTH.... It is also the 7th day, which GOD rested on. I will show you that, should you like. BTW...it is also the 8th day...Leviticus....many things Christ fulfilled with his completed work. Bless John

They were Israelites. Please learn the difference. They did not practice Judaism. They followed the law and the prophets. Judaism is a perversion, brought about when non Israelites were converted, bringing with them their traditions and superstitions.

Exodus 12:8 ‘And they shall eat the flesh on that night, roasted in fire - with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. This is the night of the 14th not the 15th. Nowhere in Scripture are we instructed to have the Passover meal on the 15th. If you remove the evening start of the day and the tradition of between the evenings starting at 3 pm (which is disproven by Debarim 16:6 & Jubilees 49:10-12) all the problems with the timing of Passover and the 15th day of the month disappear.

Le 23:5 In the - [14th day ] - of the 1st month AT EVEN, is the Lords PASSOVER (the sacrifice/killing of the Passover Lamb) Le 23:6 And on the - [15th day] - of the same month (the day after the 14th!) is the FEAST of UNLEAVENED BREAD unto the Lord, 7days ye must eat unleavened bread. (including bitter herbs - Ex 12:8) This whole service/memorial is sometimes referred to as the "Feast" of the Passover, - that being, the sacrifice on the 14th, and the eating of the Passover Lamb with unleavened bread and bitter herbs on the 15th, which is the ACTUAL FEAST. It is often referred to as the "twilight", or "dusk", The last several hours of a day are after the noon hour passes, and the sun is on its decline, towards dusk/final sundown. The Passover Lamb is to be kept from the 10th, up until the 14th, and killed - at even - noted as being between the "2evenings" which are not actually 2separate evenings, but 2 phases of the transition from light to dark. The first phase is from noon to 3pm. the second from 3pm to 6pm (this is approximate) As the Lamb is killed on the 14th at even 9etween noon and 6pm, and then prepared and roasted for several hours thru the end of the day - (twilight/dusk), the final sundown and darkness begins the 15th day, which according to the Gregorian reckoning would still be considered the night of the 14th! The Israelites killed the Passover on the 14th at even, roasted it several hours, ate it that same night, which is the beginning of the 15th, and the 1st day of the 7days of Unleavened bread. The Passover meal is the 1st day of Unleavened bread on the 15th. They were told to eat it in haste, with shoes on feet, staff in hand for in that same night the Death Angel would pass through Egypt. At midnight there was a cry throughout Egypt as they found all the 1st born killed. Pharoah called for Moses shortly after that, (during the same night) and told them to go - and to "ask a blessing for him also!" In the four gospel accounts we have differing versions of what women and when they came to the tomb. And we have two differing accounts concerning either "preparing" or "purchasing" spices and ointments. This does not require an additional sabbath.

In your teaching you mentioned Numbers 9:2 -3. Verse 3 says "you are to observe it according to all its regulations and rules. Does this mean that the passover( lamb)was killed and its blood place on the doorpost in the wilderness tents? And is this continued today? Would like to hear your response to clear up any confusion. @@seekingGODs-YHWHsTruth144K However, the Passover is actually not a day. The "Passover" can refer to the Passover lamb (Old Covenant Passover), or Christ Himself as our true Passover Lamb. Interestingly enough, Christ DID eat the Passover in the early evening of the 14th... directly after supper when He instituted the New Covenant Passover, using the bread & wine. The symbols were changed (updated), however, the symbolism did not change - both the Old & New Covenant Passover points to Jesus Christ, Yahshua Messiah.

Truth! There is no contradiction for Christ to enjoy His last Passover meal with his disciples, introduce the new symbols and become the Passover lamb later that same day, the 14th.
