When I first heard this song, I could relate to it. It brought back feelings from years ago. May 24th this year was 24 years sober after loosing my best friend, wife and a great mother to our children. This song brings back tears I thought I had already cried. Thanks Chris for keeping me grounded.

I lost someone special to me from drinking and driving. I been sober for six years cuz of it. Chris Young is amazing and I really hope this song sends a message.

Holy crap lol. When I first heard this song way back when his album came out late last year, I was not thinking it was a song about losing someone to death. Definitely came out of left field for me. That being said, it just made the song that much more powerful. I love Chris Young!

Chris has ALWAYS said that the song was not necessarily a "break up" song! He left it to peoples imaginations til they decided it was gonna be a single and when, and surprised us all with the video and then his statement about the song made sense!

His voice gives me goose bumps! Saw him in concert this year and he was amazing! Sounds exactly like how he sounds on the radio and that's awesome. I will see him in concert again! He's never sung a bad song! 💗

I'm 43 years old and you're the only person that gave me a hope to sing and I've been singing for a couple years now and I've got Hope from all people like God smack mudvayne Pantera but you gave me the hope to carry on for singing and I would love to show it some day

The greatest way I can get over another sober Saturday night is to go to Church Sunday morning and praise God for another day of life. Not everyone has that chance, or second chances as I have had in life.

It's hard chose a favorite song of Chris Young, they are all so well crafted, this one, touches your heart, soul, the song as usual, is given his best vocals! It's a story song and I absolutely love a song that starts, takes you into the story and wraps you with the melody, words and touches you, so that you feel the song and become one with it! That is a great country song, and this is a great county song, And the video? cements itself to the song and brings it to life. Amazing!!!! I don't know where it went in rankings but it's one for me.🙃🙂

Woulda listened to this song sooner had I know Vince Gill was on it (I'm a big fan of Chris Young regardless, but Vince Gill is my all-time favorite country artist). Both backing vocals AND a guitar solo from Vince? Chris is lucky and I'm sure he knows it lol!

You don't have to be an alcoholic to understand the emotions behind this song. I've lost many friends in DUI accidents, and all I could think about was the fact that I'm not the one that killed them. I was just left behind to deal with the holes their premature departures left. Rest in peace, Joshua Roberts, Christopher Frederick, Samuel Mills, and Rajwinder Buttar, til we meet again fellas!

I used to listen to country, but for the past 3-4yrs...real BAD!!!! But, wow, this is very good!!!

I was good till the end where he put the flowers on the grave stone. I knew the song was sad but the video just brought out a whole new level of sadness.

this song is so inspirational. My grandpa died because he fell and was to drunk to get up. Don't drink to extent, it tears people apart... I hadn't seen him for 3 years when he died...
