Amen and god bless that is so true!!!!💔😢 This song hits home hard. I love this song cause i can totally relate. When you listen to this you can feel the pain inside you from the loss of your loved one. Lost my best friend and her new born baby on Sept 27th, 2019. She was only 31. Was a major blow for her family, her fiance and me and all who knew her. She was so young and healthy. 😢😢 Trust me this is not a phone call you wanna wake up to at 521am. I lost it and hard and bad. I was a mess and got sick. Had to take a whole week off work. My friend and i were very close and had been for years. I just seen and talked to her the day before and she was fine and perfect and i watched her walk out the door NEVER knowing that would be the last time i ever see her. I felt honestly like my heart had been ripped out and someone punched me in the stomach. I could honestlt feel the life slipping out of me knowing my best friend passed away. She was young and so beautiful!!!!😍💗😢💔

I've lost my whole family. My best friend of 36 years OD last year on this date 5/22/2019 and another bestfriend of a short time to murder 10/27/2014. My heart hurts all the time. It doesn't get easier at all.

i lost my brother when i was 2, he was only 3 months old, in september he would be 17, in december it will be 17 years since he passed. it so hard still, i may be 19 but i still cry and miss him more than most people, also i sleep with the bear i got from his funeral i named after him.

I lost both parents 25 days apart and my dog in between. I remember saying to a friend, "I just want to get past this pain".... he told me, "You never get over it- you just learn to live with the pain and it will become a part of you. Embrace the good that you shared with them. That's when I took a positive outlook- rather than focusing on the loss, I had 48 years with my parents where they watched me grow from a boy to a man, watched my life evolve and were there for a lot of my achievements. I realized how few people have that opportunity. So I honestly was VERY blessed and graced. Until I see you again, I miss and love you every day!

GT, so sorry for your loss! I lost my mom 4 years ago to Dementia, my dad is almost 92 and doing well. My wife, best friend of 33 years, Carol Hardy, was killed instantly by a wheel breaking off another vehicle going the opposite direction, while bringing my son home from a baseball tournament. May be wrong but I prayed God would take my mom. The person I saw was not her. But after losing my wife, I told my dad he doesn't have a choice, he has to live for awhile. I am like your friend, I think we just have to learn to cope with it. 41 weeks since I lost my best friend and I cry every night. You are blessed to have parents see you grow to be a strong man. Cherish the good times!

Too much pain when I hear these songs. I lost my mom just before mine and my dad's birthdays on Mar 6th, 2017 it's been 6 years, and sometimes it still hurts like that nite. Just before her 1yr anniversary, I lost my beloved pet and sweet baby, who she had gotten for me due to a medical mistake that cost me to lose him. Hey all you folks. I'm an old fella that lost his grand-daughter Nov. 25 of 2022 to a drunk driver. You know I don't even hate the guy that was drunk. Been to busy grieving my lost little love--she was 6. There is just too much pain to try and share it all at one time on here. I love this song it helps to deal with the pain the unanswered questions. I know Jesus personally, He is my Lord and Savior but never once did He say I couldn't ask Him why? I will attempt to live my life now as perfect as He ask in hopes of not only making the streets of gold but now I long to see my ClaraBelle again... Love to all ... May God touch each of you in your suffering and ease it in some small way.

I'm from a large family, oldest of seven, grew up close, back when there was a middle class. We come from a long line of Marines. Raised on Honor, Respect, Duty & Fa8th on God My sister Linda stole family pics, my youngest daughter stole my pics. Ya just never know how evil can ruin a family. Only youngest brother and sister communicate. My immediate family never calls, visits, so I'm alone all the time. Hard to believe Daddy's been gone 45 yrs, was only 56, Oct 12 1986, Semper Fi Ooh Rah! Mamo left us @ 85 on 3/25/2001. So I don't have pics to pull out, but it's ok as we have an Amazing God who works in mysterious ways. He gave me a photographic memory & my brain is sharp as a tac, Thk You Mr Young for this song, I have less time now to wait and be with ones that truly loved me & I them. And all my beloved canine friends

Lost my mom when I was 21 years old.. will be 24 in June and it’s been a hard three years.. it’s absolutely the worst feeling loosing a parent especially when you were so young and had so much life for them to see up close.

The pain of losing a loved never really gets easier. Prayers to all going through this and the ones who still are.

December 27 21 will be year since I worked up to find my husband of 24 yrs gone . I never knew what pain was until that morning. Never 😭 cried that many tears . God only knows how much I miss him. I love you Robert forever and always in my ❤️.

This year has sucked more then any of my 39 years on this earth. I’ve lost my father in law and my cousin (in law) . Life is so short. I miss them both so much. I never thought those last moments with either of them would have been the last. My advice to every on is to hug your love ones a little harder. Make those good nights or good byes a little longer. Those moments could very well be your last. Don’t take it for granted.

I lost my wife and two sons in a car accident back in 2017. It's difficult to convey what real pain is, but God forbid you are a father that outlives his children. I can promise though the intent behind this is nobel, and CY, is a very talented musician, don't sit around grieving, and listening to this sht. Nothing good will come of it, except evoking feelings of pain and suffering. Occupy your mind, don't dwell on your loss. This coming from a man that lost everytbing, before even turning 30.

I lost one of my sister-in-laws 6 days ago. She was a beautiful, good role model, and wonderful friend. I do feel like drowning. So I pray that she will find and be at peace. 😢 🥰🙏🏻

I discovered this song a few days ago. It feels like it was written for me. I lost my husband in March 2022 after almost 29-years. He was my best friend, my rock, and the absolute love of my life! We had the best relationship and we’re true soulmates! He was diagnosed with Polymyositis in late 2016 and everything I read indicated there was no cure and that 1 in 5 patients last 5-years. I watched him deteriorate until he died in my arms at home. In honor of him, I donate to St. Jude every month because he believed very passionately in that cause. I am mIssing him every day and finding the grief is overwhelming. If you have never experienced this kind of grief before, I pray for you when it does happen. Thank you so much Chris Young! My wife died from a heart attack on August 8, 2018 and this year, 2022, marks 4 years now that she's been gone. I discovered this song about 2 years ago and I don't know how you did it Chris Young but you pretty much described how I felt after her death. The part that tears me up the most and where I break down and cry is where he sings, "and I miss my best friend." My wife was my soulmate and best friend and I miss her so much, it's like a deep pain that never goes away. Thank you again for this incredible song that helps me with my grief.

Conrailman.. that is such an untimely passing. Not that anyone can be prepared to lose anyone but the sudden losses, there just seems to be no foothold to start living again without the one you love. I lost my 6 yr old grand-daughter to a drunk driver about 2 months ago. She was born at about the same time the Dr. told my wife about me needing by-pass --he has a slim chance. I truly believe that Jesus left me here to guide my little love into life. We had her the first 3 yrs because Mom and Dad both worked. AND YES PawPaw became attached -- overboard attached. My faith in Jesus -- the love support of my community the prayers offered up in our names....All these positives have kept me on the right track. Yes --- there are not nearly enough paper towels to hold back all the tears and the snot---Daily. I pray you find some sort of a foothold to help you back into life..mine was Jesus.

This is why I love Chis Young so much! This song brought me to tears and reminded me of when both of my grandpas passed away.

Dominique, I’m sorry for your loss. My father passed from Lymphoma Mar 18th 2018. This is my first time hearing this song. I’m glad your are able to call his number. I have a voicemail from my dad a couple weeks before his passing saying he was “getting out of the hospital” when they discharged him briefly. It was foreshadowing for sure looking back because I’m sure looking at it as him saying he was getting out of his mortal body to go to heaven.

@@joshcook4566 I'm sorry to hear that, my heart feels for you. I lost my mom when I was 20 and 9 months pregnant with my first born. My mom was the one person I wanted to share my experience with. It's been 14 years and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think about my mom. I hope that you find comfort and enjoy the time you have left to make as many memories as you can.
