Chris sounds so amazing live, a true artist for sure. I love this version of the song, his runs are amazing in this.

Chris’s Legato is so dirty, he makes men cry. He’s a multi-Grammy winning song writer that had to be convinced to release his own stuff, but started with a cover of someone else’s song. Class act.

Good LAWD, Girl. Maybe we should have reaction videos of YOU. You could be right up there singing a duet with Chris. WOW!

Also, if I might suggest looking into Zac Brown Band. Very fun country group. All their radio stuff is fun but my favorite is a song called “Overnight” featuring Trombone Shorty. Straight up R&B/Jazz baby making music. Freaking awesome!

Stapleton is a wormhole of greatness. A generational talent who crosses genres with an ease that is truly thrilling. The man is a national treasure. So, so good.

Oh, I love that blues feel, and he has plenty of it. I like that rasp he puts into his vocals and his guitar feel this is new for me thank you Maggie. You can go on vocal tangents anytime you want as far as I'm concerned and thank you for the glass of wine.

He has such a powerful voice.

Chris is one of a kind!

When you sing along to this in your lower register your voice is so smooth and picks up that raw emotional feel leaving some of your classical voice in the closet. Woohoo beautiful.

They have five kids Chris says he still gets nervous before every he never seems like the same way on a different night he will change it up he didn't think he had a voice to sing and his wife convinced him that he doesn't need to write he has a beautiful voice and to start him singing and she follows him or his stage everywhere

I love the way that he and his wife look at each other throughout every performance, but still manage to not shut the audience out. It's a real gift they have to draw everyone into their love and singular focus on each other. I don't particularly love songs about drinking or alcohol, because I often feel it is a crutch used in the music industry. But I really love this song, and his voice is just everything. If you follow Country music award shows, you can pretty much guarantee that if he's in a particular category, he's probably going to win. It started a few years ago, and he's just gotten better.

Great reaction! More Chris Stapleton please! One of his latest "Cold " is amazing! It has strings in it that are phenomenal. I dont think there is a live version but the audio is great. It is rare to find a singer who sounds as good live as in studio. Thank you.

Morgane is a great singer in her own right. In order to sing with another person, you must be a great listener, matching the nuances and timing of the other singer. You must be heard without overpowering the lead singer. You match your breaths that you take and you also have to add the right tone. It’s a huge skill and not all good singers can do it well. So the fact that she helps Chris with his stage fright is wonderful, but if she weren’t super talented she would not be onstage with him. They sing beautifully together. And she adds so much to his vocals in my opinion. Thanks for reacting to the live version 🙏

Ever notice Chris keeps his wife Morgane up next to him on stage even though she’s a “background singer”? Chris suffers from horrible stage fright and when he feels said fright he looks over at Morgane for confidence. That’s Love right there. He loves her that much. Tips his hat when he mentions his heart. I seen them both in concert twice. It is better hearing it live!

🍷 Of course I love it. I grew up and lived 15-20 minute drive from Austin City Salon and was there a number of time. Lots of talent has come out of this area.

His performances, in general, are very impressive live, although "Fire away" needs the official video for full understanding. Other favorites by him are "I was wrong", "Sometimes I cry", "Death Row" and "Whipping Post". Have fun. BTW the female singer with him is his wife.

Watch Chris singing Fool Me Again back in like 2006….so much talent and amazing since he was like 26 and still and incredibly amazing voice

this guy is legit! the sound he creates is one of a kind. his diction is part of what separates him (even when you were mimicking him the difference in diction made it so different even with your talent) you should take a deep dive into not just his performances but songs he wrote for others , if you haven't heard Josh Turner (you mentioned him in the wiki part) singing "your man" you are in for a massive treat, Josh has a very deep voice and it caries well for a baritone. give him a spin!

I really liked this reaction. You have a “fantastical” voice as well. You got a new sub in me !! I love Stapleton so much.

It's a great song a lot of folks cover, but Chris just kills it. I tell you though, Maggie sings everything well, but she sounds especially good singing this one.

He covers James Brown’s It’s a Man’s World and he nails it. And speaking of Outlaw Country, you should check out Colter Wall’s Brewery Sessions and in particular, The Devil Wears a Suit and Tie. Sleeping on the Blacktop is a good one too.

As someone who’s not a big fan of country, I like many of the reaction channels who react to all genres. It’s opened up my taste in music too. Once you listen to him and his music I think you will find him more of a blues singer. An excellent example would be “Death Row”
