I love watching you react to Chris Stapleton. Its a rabbit hole that goes deep. He was in a Rock Band "The Jompson brothers" a Bluegrass band " Steeldrivers" Its great stuff. Check out "Fool me again".

Heck No!!! I say his genre is the “Chris Stapleton” genre!!!!
Outlaw country at its finest. He said I will play your Metallica but dont touch my amp. It stays true to classic Chris. And why play the solo note for note? He made it his but without all the distortion and gain plus sustain, GIVE IT THAT TWANG!
One of my favorite covers from the Blacklist album (after Alessia Cara and The Warning Enter Sandman cover of course). 😎👍
He says don't do cover and try to totally try to copy that artist. Change it enough to make it your own.
