This is literally a song about Death Row like what life would be like. Chris is the GOAT for real!!
Homeboy in the back feelin that blues riff.
Best quote in a song says “ I already told Jesus everything I know” baddddd right there!!
That beat is the drip of time for a man on Death Row!
Yasssss!!! #diehardchrisstapletonfan #permanentstankface He's referring to the death row inmates having a preacher/priest come talk to them and confessing their sins before they die...he didn't want that cuz he already did that privately. JMO Great reaction y'all 🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Chris is Blues all the way! He is just truly gifted.
He's taking about life we all on death row. Amazing
Stu is totally feeling that groove. I enjoyed y'all absorbing that soul in just the beat. It's deep even without the lyrics.
He is talking bout being on death row in prison.....🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This man can sing love the Blues keep up the great songs!love your channel
Even though he sounds blue he is a country singer and songwriter. In country they not only tell their on stories, but other people's also and this is a song about someone on death row.

It does speak of someone on death row but when I listen to the song I see an old folks home.
I love when music crosses boundaries....Chris deserves to be heard by all
The beat is great! It's a smooth groove. It sounds like the cell doors opening and closing or like time ticking by. But even though it's describing an inmate on death row, you got to give Chris his props for masterfully creating the scene and making you honestly feeling it! It gives you a deep and real look into what death row would feel like.
Really glad you did this one, it is haunting, a little bit creepy and for some reason sexy to me. Baffles me LOL

For many people, some amount of suspense / fear is tied into excitement. It's often the natural wiring of the brain, and not unusual. :) To be crude, it's why many people get off on horror films.
Song about a man in prison on death row. He has made his peace with Jesus, so he doesn't want a preacher coming in to do any talking. The message for his mother, that he loves her has been designated. Now he just continues to mark off the number of days he has left before his execution.
Shit...that gives me goosebumps! Especially with good headphones and turnt up!!
I love him he is incredible and what music is all about feeling something getting an emotional reaction to it and relating to something even at that moment how you’re feeling you can turn on the radio and the song can turn on and hit you where you are at that moment and it’s amazing he’s a true natural talent no need for auto tune and sing on the radio and hear him live and wonder who this is singing lol also he wrote so many songs for artists before he started out actually being played he writes and sings it’s amazing

GO TIGERS!!!
Either Way is a great song. If you've ever been at the end of long term relationship, it hits you in the feels.
I feel like its the point of view from a man on Death Row. Preacher man, last request, calanders...heck even the beat reminds me of steps of the condemned person with their legs chained...
It's about someone on death row. The beats sounds like footsteps down the hall to the chair.
Nothing compares to you(Prince tribute) by Stapleton Barely Alive acoustic version
Please react to "Nobody to Blame" "I Was Wrong " live version Both by Chris Stapleton!
This song is a whole ass vibe all its own. Feels like a smokey blues club after hours where the waitresses are breaking down and counting out tips while the owner is chilling at a table with some friends sipping on scotch and smoking cigars bullshitting about nonsense and the artist that played that night is just kind of fucking around with his band quietly in the background feeling out a new song while he waits to be paid out for the gig.
This guy is a better blues singer than...blues singers !!!!!
Some times I cry live from the Bing lounge
I was puzzled by your questions about the lyrics.. To me they are just exactly as they say.. He's a guy sitting on DEATH ROW!!! the window is up high, can't see out. He doesn't need to talk to pastor because he's already talked to God.. maybe told his sins, maybe said he's not sorry, but "don't need" a go between. He's told his mama (He's about to die guys!) he loved her, and his Girl he loved her.. I didn't get how you guys tried to make it symbolism or anything other than a guy sitting in death row.. watching the date of his execution that's very soon.

Chris Stapleton and Reese’s Cups, life is good
He's basically saying he did what he did and he doesn't need anybody to remind him of it he's already accepted his fate and made peace with Jesus

Beth Hart and Joe Belamassa " I'll take care of you "
Chris’s best, in my opinion. For a black-white blues duet, try John Lee Hooker and Bonnie Raitt doing In the Mood
He’s singing about what an inmate on death row would probably say or think, you can hear the cell doors screeching
Lol I loved y'all's reaction. Check out David Allen Coe's You don't Call Me By My Name. Seriously worth it

Well it can be the death row of life as a metaphor
You need to do fire away reaction and watch the video with it
I think he's say he can't be saved. Don't need no preacher man to lay my burden down... MHO
Have you two listed to his, Mans World, you.guys will be floored!
It’s in the perception of a Deathrow inmate
Death row...the part of the prison they house death row inmates before they're executed by the state. The calendar on the wall is marking days until he gets the call...counting down the days until the execution is scheduled and the execution is performed. The preacher man coming around for him to lay his burdens down is so he is able to confess his sins before his execution, so he can pray for redemption & forgiveness.
He's singing it from a death row inmate's perspective. So the calendar on the wall, counting down my days things is in reference to his execution date.
You should do Chris Stapleton I was wrong

That beat is a death walk cadence... Walkin the walk to the gas chamber....

You boys are blues lovers... y’all need to hit some Joe Bonamassa and Beth Heart, and some Clapton from the cradle...

That best is him marching to the chair. Death Row. Marking the calendar. Pretty easy read. Also, the man eating and drinking is pretty damn annoying. Hearing the smacking. Stuck around cause ur man in the back is a good dude

How do you eat a resces cup?
Guys, it's sooooo freaking simple!! The song title is "Death Row." Come on now!
You arent serious are you guys??? HE IS ON DEATHROW!! LIKE IN PRISON....HELLO?
Lol, I'm kind of surprised that you guys could not figure out what this song was about. It's extremely descriptive. Just the name of the song alone should be enough. 🤔
Wanna see you do a review of a song called One Tin Soldier by a group called Coven theme song to the movie Billy Jack Also wanna see you do Johnnie Taylor = three-time Grammy-nominated American recording artist and songwriter who performed a wide variety of genres, from blues, rhythm and blues, soul, and gospel to pop. I wanna see you review "Who's makin love to your lady while you were out makin love" or "Little Bluebird" or "Last 2 dollars" Also check out Otis Redding cover of the Temptations classic My Girl or else his cover of Rolling Stones song Satisfaction or some of his his own songs Shake or Tramp or Respect when he did it live. This is truly A M U S T S E E ! Trust me, I will not steer your wrong! I love the energy between him & the audience. He gives it to them and they give it back to him and they feed off each other You are gonna L O V E it! 😘💗❣️🤯🤯🤯🎶🎵🎼
Hey man I love that you are getting into Chris Stapleton. I really would love to see you and Stu react to this guy. He is absolutely amazing. He has already played with Chris Stapleton and is endorsed by some of the greatest vocalists and songwriters and he is only 22 years old. Please give him a listen. You all will be blown away. Here is a link. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lYaDvKNsmKmfc84.html

Prison death row
Do y’all even read the titles???😂😳😂😂😂Duh!!!
This is a Blues song. Country my ass...lol
You guys had the WORST understanding of what that song meant! It simply was a man coming to terms that his days were limited on earth and that he's made peace with his bad decisions and ready to meet his Maker via Death Row.
Come on guys how hard is it to understand the song
Dam you guys.... you cant figure this song out wow
I'm new to reaction videos. Why do people feel the need to eat , drink or smoke during a 3 min video?
Untill it is too late. bwahahahaha
Some songs use metaphors, double meanings and leave room for listener-interpretation... This isn't one of them. ;-)
Wow man! Y'all must have been high as f to not know what this song was about. It's in the freaking title for f's sake!
Stubaby540 he is locked up on death row waiting to be executed.
Oh shit really
Not to be negative but jeez.the fucking name of the song is death row.
I like your reviews but I really wish that you wouldn't eat while you are doing them. When you wave all of that packaging and bottles around it's distracting for us. Just saying? 🤔
