I suggest a two sided discussion with each taking a different side.
Instead of "gentlemen's knife" i like the term "dress knife" A knife to carry when you need to dress up for more formal occasions

Bought my dad this exact combo for Christmas and he loves it, his only knife
Absolutely beautiful piece. Thanks for sharing.
I just got quarantined from school so I have a lot of free time so your videos are becoming one of the only high points of my day
I completely agree with the gentleman’s ( dress knife ). I absolutely love my Manandi with spalted beach wood. Always get complements about this knife. Thanks for this review.
I don't know if it's just me but you sound so chill and calm durning the majority of this review. It's like every time you pick up that Mnandi it soothes you a little.
I love my box elder Mnandi w/polished blade. Incredible knife. Incredible quality. None better than this knife, in this style, design and form factor. Great review as always.
The comedy relief in this review makes this one of my favorites! LOL
I have a Sebenza 31 with those same box elder burl scales. This Mnandi would certainly be a good companion.
Bill's always diggin' up his dang fence.

As a gentlemanly craft beer drinking Southern British mustache wearer named William I felt particularly offended.
“How am I supposed to dig up my old fence?” 🤣 Great review as always. My Inkosis are my personal favorites but I have two Mnandis and they are fantastic knives as well. To me the Mnandi is the ultimate gentleman’s knife and a gentleman’s knife for those (like me) who don’t like slip joints.
OMG. Best review ever! You, Sir, are a riot. Been stalking your channel for a long time. Sub so I don't miss any more.
The latest version has a cutout in the blade vs the nail nick, is this easier to open?
I worked in offices in and around London most of my career. I always carried a really nice pocket knife. I also had really nice shoes. And a briefcase and a £200 wallet. I would have loved this little knife. But the internet wasn't a thing thing then, so I made do with whatever I could get. I retrained as an electrician recently (I'm 60) and now get to carry some rather amazing pointy knife bling for work (thanks internet!)... I still want one of these though. Oh, and the English accent was pretty close to spot on. TTFN...
The search is on! According to CRK, they made 7 Snake wood Mnandi on 7/10/2014. Thanks for the awesome review. Even though I don't appreciate the dig about the fence posts, I like tiny knives too... 🤣 😆
I've had my Mnandi just like this for about a month now. I carried it to work one week but am almost afraid I'll loose it. This week I switched to my $30 CRKT Ripple to carry to work.
This knife looks amazing I need to get one. And you can have a para 3 cutting edge in your fifth pocket that's kinda crazy to me.
I feel like you could close your eyes and pick any mnandi and it would be gorgeous. All of the different inlays look amazing. I’ve always wanted to handle one
I have a edc for my camera gear and I use a banter when I shot because it's not an aggressive looking knife.
I got the Plantan scale because it matched my Sebenza. I'm going to carry it in my scrubs and use that voice at work.
I find the Hinderer XM18 3.5 to fit my hand perfectly. While I love the look of the Mnandi I'm concerned ill drop 700 on a knife too small for my hands. What do yall think?
What a beautiful knife! 😍
I'd love that clip on my sebenza 21, probably wouldn't look as good though
(Mickey Mouse Voice) “Come for the knife reviews, stay for the insults” 🤣😂😝
The look says gentleman🤵,...but the price says straight up gangsta!😎
Such a beautiful knife! For all those who show negativity towards expensive pieces of art and get all huffy and mad, well , all I have to say about that is what my old granny use to say " Well they can just get glad in the same pants they got mad in!" LOL

That's a fantastic saying 🤣👍
That example made me envision a guy in his corner office buttering his muffin with a Rambo knife
In today's comment section, I will play the part of Bill. Although with the intension of spreading knowledge. Chris Reeve Knives uses a process called carburization on titanium lock interfaces. It's some type of magic involving heat and hardening of the lock bar. I understand how carbidizing is done, but how Chris Reeve carburizes the titanium lock face is a mystery to me. Part of the reason why I treasure my sebenza 21 above all others. The lock has a very satisfying pop to it when unlocking. At least on my sample size of 1.

Finally got one just like this but in boomerang. Would have loved raindrop but I'll take what I can get. Love box elder
The live with your bride was great she puts some fun into the show!!!!!!!
yes!! We officially have the counterpart to Shabazz' review of the Medford Praetorian!
The Mnandi is the only CRK I really would like to have! 😉
How am I gonna dig up my fence with such a tiny knife lol. Classic Richard.
Next up is the Gentleman’s Balisong. You bring it to cocktail parties all the same, as well as gingerly open it with two hands all the same.
I have mine with serpentine wood, and M390 blade. Came with the small aged leather pouch. I carried it only once, but I sometimes put it in my pocket when I'm at home. I would never part with it.
@christophercook1458
6 ай бұрын
Sorry man, but that knife is a fake. Chris Reeve has never used m390 or serpentine for their knives. May I ask how much you paid for said knife?
"If you don't understand the price of something, it wasn't meant for you anyway.."
I am Irish and would never describe myself as a gentleman, but that is one classy knife. I would love to own one but I would never lay out that kind of dosh for any knife. Still and all, I appreciate the design and the finishing.
Wish you’d have reviewed the current version instead of previous generation.
I know. Old video. Lol. As far as the gentleman’s knife philosophy I would agree in the modern, internet, sense. However, some older folks, have always used the term. Or “Sunday goin to meetin” as a similar term. Was always used as a term for a nice, smaller blade for dressier circumstances. Just my thoughts.
That is truly a good looking tool, I wish I could afford one lol but alas I can not :((... but someday MC , It will be mine hahaha.
I came so close to buying this knife a few months ago. In the end, I just decided it was too small. If they just made the blade an exact 3”, that would have been ideal.

I still hold doors open for women and stand when a woman enters or exits a room, is this very expensive knife for me lol? This is just a luxury Doctor or Dentist collector Knife. It’s amazing quality but collection piece and if I could afford it I’d absolutely buy one lol.
@metal_complex

I think it's fair to say some people will "collect it" and some people will absolutely use it. It's beautiful in its base or upgraded form, but 100% built to be used 👍
It may not be for everyone but I find this version quite beautiful
A custom Pena front flipper trapper would be by choice for a “gentleman’s knife”
MC your crazy when I present I always carry a nuke in case I might need to open a letter
I'd say most anything is a gentleman's knife, to me a gentleman is any man who is kind, respectful, etc. But it's still a nice knife
🤣🤣😆you kno how to make a Monday mornin worthwhile brother🤙🤘luvin the comedy without a doubt. Do luv the crk knives but this one is too gentlemanly for me🤣😂I do like it tho for my shelf tho lol. I would get it for that. Hava awsome week ahead bud and keep that glass half full everybody wootwoot it only 4 days and a wake up until ffrriiiiidaayyyy woowoooo haha🤘🤙✌🤟👍👊
Damn it Bill!
The way I see it is a gentleman’s knife is for a person who doesn’t need a knife to do hard working tasks. Just for opening they’re mail and to cut off the tag of $300 jeans lol
I also assume people who own this knife own many leather bound books and their homes smell of rich mahogany

Too bad their other models don't have a cool clip . Thanks MC
I don't really mind the term gentleman's Knife, it's less ridiculous than the term "tactical knife" referring to any locking modern style knife.
My AD10 self identifies as a gentlemans knife 🤣

"gentleman's knife" --> "formal knife"
So whos got tickets to the chris reeve cocktail party?
I prefer the term visually less offensive over gentleman knife hell I cut my 5-year-old and 4 year olds umbilical cord with a zt0350 I guess I would have got a better reaction with a smaller knife as that one is lol
Where you not invited to your neighbors party MC Lol
Sooooo... You gonna sell me that knife?
I am deeply offended that a man as plebeian as yourself would dishonor a gentleman such as I. I shall challenge you to a duel good sir.
