I gifted myself with that same BHQ CF inlayed Insingo on my 10 year anniversary with the Fire Dept. It has managed to kick almost every knife out of my pocket.... even my beloved fully pimped XM-18 3.5” skinny slicer ❤️🔪

I think part of why Chris Reeves encourages disassembly of their knives is because they use such good hardware as part of the assembly. The hex sockets on their screws are deep and precise making it hard to screw up. Just ordered the insingo blade version of the 21 - thought I’d get one before they disappear. Happy to support a quality US manufacturer.

My all time grail knife. Thanks for reviewing it and thanks for explaining the alignment hole. I've seen a lot of videos reviewing this knife and they never mention it. Mystery solved.

I love the Insingo blade. When it comes time to pull the CRK trigger is definitely gonna be Insingo either the Sebenza 31 or Inkosi. Thanks for the review brotha.

I love the Insingo blade. While I have some mixed feelings about my Sabenza 21, there is no doubt that the Insingo blade shape is as close to perfection for my use as any blade I own... the thing is a fantastic balance of tough and delicate.

Sebenzas have never quite done it for me unfortunately. The ZT 0640 is the long, slim, smooth knife in my collection. Great review as always though.

The hole in the 21 is for the shop to hold onto the blade when making it in some of their tooling/machines. The Idaho made mark wasn't always on the scales, there are pre Idaho made 21's and most of them are not in S35VN they are in S30V usually. I've been trying to get my hands on a pre Idaho made 21 all year with no luck. There is actually a difference and some say the pre Idaho 21's are the best knives Chris ever made, they don't have perforated washers, they are solid PB washers that people say gives the old ones a smoother action. If anybody is reading this who is selling a pre Idaho 21 and can ship to London UK let me know, I can't get one, they are pretty sought after, I'm even thinking to make my own solid washers to put into a newer 21 and replace the perforated ones in a knife I've got coming next month.

Hinderer, CRK, and the Norseman are knives built to be workers which is great in their own right. Just means a working mans knife has no true price limit.

OLIVE OIL! Now your talking my language, I use Extra Virgin for pivot lube, loose the tacky calipers. Too me a knife becomes to heavy when I start having to use a counter weight.
