Just imagine sitting there, in the front row, watching this magnificent performance live.......How I wish I could be there. Chris is one of a kind!

This is insane! I like how Borchert is a strong Jeckyll that fights against Hyde but Murray really puts the schizophrenia on the stage. Its hard to decide what I like more. I think I like Borchert more to hear because of the great singing and Murray to watch because of the great acting performance.

I did not understand a word but that acting, singing... EPIC!!!

In my own personal opinion, I had always pictured Hyde always as a Demon possessing Jekyll & this performance pretty much delivers that vision

Dieses ist die faszinierendste Version dieses Lieds, die ich bis jetzt gesehen habe. Er scheint, mindestens mir, viel mehr Buchstaben auf Deutsch, als zu haben er auf englisch tut. Das heißt, bleibt er zutreffender, um sich zu bilden und zutreffender zum lediglich schlechten Haß, daß er in der ursprünglichen inszenierten Version dieses Musikals ist. Wenn meine deutsche Grammatik falsch ist, ist sie, weil ich ein Muttersprachler von Englisch bin, und ließ diesen Text übersetzen. Bär mit mir.

So eine show verdient es, auf DVD gebrannt zu werden. Ich wünschte, ich könnte mir das auf HD ansehen.

+klapperstrauss90 You saw him twice? I'm sooo jealous! Do you happen to know how long he's going to continue playing Jekyll/Hyde? I mean, not to be rude, but...he's in his 50s and I'm deeply concerned that he might stop before I have the chance to go to Germany! ;p

@VBZBII The best hydes are Warlow, Thomas Borchert and Chris Murray. They each offer something brilliant to the character and the songs.

I totally agree. I've seen this show on Broadway with Rob Evan in the lead, and also the pay per view version with David Hasselhoff who was a joke. I've also seen videos of Robert Cuccioli, who did the original Broadway cast recording. But none of these men come even close to Chris Murray. Anthony Warlow is a close second though.

What i like about this is just How Jekyll still looks like Hyde in the beginning like he just looses himself in Hyde

Great. I love his interpretation. Also the stage direction is brillant (in the dark stories germans are much better than americans). His Hyde-voice is really frightening.

This man is awesome! Very interesting version of "Confrontation." It's like Jekyll is petrified of Hyde." What else has Mr. Murray done? Do you have any videos of him singing "Alive?"

He is always brilliant and amazing. I really love the way that he do all of his characters. I'm still convulsed with his Jesus and his Inspektor X on "ChristO".
