the most chilling part is the search history on his computer, benoit searched the prophet of Elijah from the Old Testament regarding the resurrection of a young boy. To me that says that he had just come from wherever he was mentally and realized his did something unthinkable and unforgivable and the only way he was attempting to fix that wrong was thru resurrection, something that is all but impossible in this lifetime.

@@vaibhavkumar9072 I think what they're getting at is that Benoit may have regained his sense after killing Daniel and, as a religious man, looked up a Bible story about a boy being brought back to life in the hopes that he might bring Daniel back. I personally think there's some truth to that theory. The knife otherwise makes no sense, unless Chris was planning on using it somehow. I believe Daniel may have had it for protection. I don't know if they ever checked the fingerprints on the knife, but I imagine Daniel was aware of what happened. Given the timeline we know, Daniel was home at the time of Nancy's death, but may have been asleep. The neighbor, Holly Schrepfer, received a call on Friday night around 10:00pm. If this call was from Nancy, then she died between then and midnight, and a 7 year old boy is likely to be asleep during those hours.

So eerie and sad seeing that house that was once occupied by a happy family now they’ve all passed away and the house frozen in time like nothing happened. Daniel’s room is especially upsetting. A happy little child who’s last days on earth was finishing the first grade. Rest In Peace Chris, Nancy and Daniel Benoit.

What’s very eerie to me, is that these pictures were taken the day the bodies were discovered. It’s a very clean, well kept house. You take one look at these pics (with no knowledge of what’s happened) and you think “there’s no way something so brutal and tragic has just happened inside these wall. It’s also eerie knowing that in these moments: Daniel is face down in his bed. Nancy’s on the floor with a blanket on her, and her back broken. And Chris is in the gym room of his basement with a weight cable around his neck and has some weights on it.

At 7:00 they show a glass case with a pair of red, white, and blue wrestling boots inside. Those are the boots that the Dynamite Kid "passed down" to Chris Benoit on an episode of Stampede wrestling in the late 80's. (the video of it is linked below) On top is a British policeman's "bobby" helmet and a framed picture that appears to be of Chris and Dynamite. It was confirmed by the Dr who discovered CTE himself that he had it. No question at all. This was the work of a disabled man. Not his fault at all. One day people will understand. It's just such a new subject that there is still stigma. I've had a few concussions in my life. I was in some car accidents & I was a pro wrestler from 03-04. Combine that with being born 4 lbs 4 oz & having congenital deformities on my lower back But I didn't know about until I hurt my back & you've got a recipe for pain & danger. I am a totally different person at 3 points in my life. There is pre age 25 when the brain front cortex hasn't developed yet. Post 25 when it has but it's healthy & then 31 when the symptoms changed my life. I'm 43 & the stuff that goes through my mind daily you don't want to know. Every time I see that movie Concussion... I go "Holy shiet... I UNDERSTAND THEM." It's something you either know... Or you don't know & I can't explain it but when your head hurts & you feel like your soul is leaving your body & this life isn't real... You start to think you're going crazy. Then it goes away & you're normal again but no one ever sees you like that because you run & hide in the bathroom or take a Xanax or something to make it go away. You're always afraid one day it's going to "win." As you get older it gets worse but Drs tell you there is nothing they can do. You feel helpless & all alone & no one wants to hang out with you because you are so hard to be around. Your personality changes. You require a ton of upkeep. No music or loud noises or bright lights etc. Sometimes you just gotta tell people to shut up or just walk away mid conversation because they are overwhelming you. I was never like that before. I would totally take myself out just to make it stop. I wonder how I'm going to make it 2-3 more years. Every time a year goes by I'm amazed at this point. So yeah... I'm sympathetic to Benoit.

So, for the photo at 0:50, is that doll a representation of Nancy's body? If I'm correct, it's in the spot they found her. There aren't any dolls for Daniel and Chris though, so I'm unsure. This randomly popped up on my feed and threw me back down into the rabbithole that is this case. It's so incredibly sad, whichever side you believe. Personally, I think Chris was an aggressive guy with a horribly damaged brain who did something not entirely of his own accord, but definitely enough. Just looking at the aggression showed toward Nancy juxtaposed with how he killed Daniel shows that he was at least more agitated with Nancy. I just wish that they didn't have to suffer his demons too. Rest in peace, Nancy and Daniel.

The knife under the bed... Maybe at first he planned to stab Daniel, and at the last moment decides to drug him and wait until he fall asleep to suffocate him. Kinda a "mercy move" at his mind before take his own child live without pain. This case is such heartbroken, I don't think Chris do it in the middle of a rage attack, for me it's mostly the final result of deep depression, untrated and unknow dementia and a psychotic attack in the hours before his death, where he seen the death of their family as the only way out for all of them and their salvation (the internet search), maybe he didn't want to take his life alone and don't wanted to leave his family in pain if he took his life so he decides take their own family lives with him. Saddly we only can speculate truth and what he was think before the homicides of Nancy and Daniel and his suicide will never know.

Wish people wouldnt speculate on this. People make some seriously bad choices…and yeah he made some seriously bad choices that affected his family ultimately..I look at it like this, he’s not the only wrestler to kill someone, be abusive, or act out towards his family, he was a damn good entertainer and was a tough sob. I do wish things would have turned out differently..it’s very sad the way this happened, but I can’t judge what I truly don’t know.

This is why CTE, the depression and everything else with this case made sense as to why Chris did this. Because if he was healthy, in mind at least, this tragedy would never have happened. Yes Chris is a family annihilator. But I don’t view him like I do say John List who murdered his whole family on religious beliefs and then went into hiding for almost 15 years. Chris was legitimately sick because of his career and everyone paid the ultimate price for it.

Well, you can't say be unknown because there is kind of a big reason... So many blows to the head with the head butt off the top rope, constant chair shots, and years of steroid use up until his death. Even when you look at his last matches around the time of his death, you can see how horrible he was starting too look because his heart was taking had taking so much abuse over the years with his whole body. When he died, the autopsy shows his heart was so enlarged, so even if he didn't kill his family he would've still died due to the years of steroid use and many other drugs I'm sure along with taking so much head shots in the ring. People don't realize when your eddie Guerreros and chris benoits height, being 230 lbs of that much muscle at that height is not really realistic. And eventually, over time, with constant abuse of steroids, head shots to the head, WWE not taking this shit seriously when they fucking should've, things just finally caught up to him and the fact that he had such a fucked up brain of a 80 year old, everything was too late in my opinion.

I think so myself. The case was also closed within a 24 hour period, which doesn't happen. First time I ever heard a case close asap. I still think that family was attacked. Chavo even said that Chris had moved to that house, and he told chavo, "Please don't tell anyone where I relocated. He wanted to keep a low profile from a lot of people.

Interesting i haven't seen these photos other than the typical weight machine one. I was curious on certain things like the calendar, what they ate and what stuff they had and most of it was just junk, knickknacks, couch wasnt all that special, some of the items, granted this was in 2007, besides the memorabilia I wasn't impressed, the house is tacky. Though I was surprised most of it was clean. The toilet thing was weird. Some of the imagery is disturbing, the only parts we dont see is the actual bodies though I dont know if we should to be honest. I dont understand a couple of things like the pile of weights on the floor like that and other random things. We all wonder what he was doing exactly what was going through his head of course. Also they had a lot of junk food I am surprised for a fit guy Benoit drank that nasty diet coke, Dasani water (taste bad in my opinion), La Croix, frozen food, all that is junk food, I wished they opened the fridge and showed what else he had in there, but whatever, his actions can't be taken back, also there is no conspiracy he is just wacked out of his mind thats what I see based on the photos. He had it all, but that clearly met nothing.

I believe Benoit did it. I've seen a lot of toxic fathers who are nice to everyone at parties, public, work, etc. talking about how much they love their family, but are yelling & violent crap heads when they are all by themselves with their wifes and kids. I got some distant cousins who are like that. Benoit would fit that mould.

me either. there are so many inconsistencies w/ this case. roid rage 81 yr old w/ dementia. a lot disregard Matthew Greenberg predicting the Benoit's deaths or the fact he lives 5 mins away from WWE headquarters is very suspiscious. there was no traces of roids alcohol in his system he had cuts n lacerations on his body they continued changing the story to where Nancy's body was found plus the medical examiner Kris Sperry was caught taking bribes from 3rd parties n was forced to retire because of it. so u got to ask who was Sperry taking bribes from and why? the voicemail Benoit leaves Michael Parker is quite telling n i recommend others to listen to it.
