I liked the one with the warmest sound but that staccato... Oh gosh. That staccato was beautiful.

Karolina is not easily overwhelmed by the physical size of the bigger violin. The strings are longer, so the physical distance between notes is greater. The bow is longer as well. She does not get intimidated! Go Karolina!

Karolina has relatively large hands for the length of her arms, so adjusting to the new bow hold and fingering positions is already coming along well. Her teacher made a good point that she was already using the full bow length. I believe she will enjoy this violin more than her others, if that’s possible! 😉 Congratulations on your recent performance with Lindsey Sterling!! Magnificent!

Amazing child right there I have a feeling she can make any violin sound amazing.

I just recently parted with a violin I inherited from my Father. A one of a kind Maximillian Lang violin, #36 of 39 he completed in his lifetime, with a California Redwood top and Birds Eye Maple body. My Father purchased 2 of Max's violins shortly after they were completed in 1978 and enjoyed playing them until he passed in 1992. I tried to learn to play this beautiful instrument, however an earlier neck injury made it quite uncomfortable...so I stick with guitar. Karolina would have made her sing!!

This is new level of mastering the violin I am so happy for you Karolina!

My guitars are all "Tiger Maple" and I love the sound of Tiger Maple. Probably one of the all around full sounding sound wood for stringed instruments.

I can see why the teacher said the best one is the most current one you were using. It's like breaking into brand new pair of shoes. At first they're uncomfortable and then over time as you wear them they become comfortable. You've put in a lot of experience into your violin perfecting it to sound Tremendously better.

...so happy for you. I started with full size violin when I was 6... it was almost as big as I was...I was a very small boy at the time, but I had... long arms :) enjoy yourself... work because you want, play because you want too... with your talent. be happy first and everything else will work itself out...in time, and work ...I remember my first " real " violin still... it will stay ...forever.

She is a very talented young girl, enjoy listening to her play.Especialy when entertaining the street crowd the best comes out in her .Love you very much keep it up.

At first I thought the man testing the new full size violins was your dad but now know he was your instructor. That was a good idea that he was able to help you select the nice one that you seemed to like too! They all sounded great to me but can hear a difference! LOL I had no idea these violins cost so much but I think your father made a sound investment! Did you ever play the Violin Ellen bought you when you appeared on her show... was it a good one? Sounds like you have 3 o4 violins now and one is full size! Thank god you enjoy playing violins cause that why you play them so beautifully! You really are a professional and deserve the best! I think there will be people who assume you have a violin teacher who taught you to dance and play but I think that is not true at all, he probably bans you from dancing in his lessons, he is a classical violin teacher and all your dancing and playing on pop music is self taught totally

How hard is it to go from the violin you are used to I to a physically larger one? Can you tune it to similar tone as the previous one? What brings about a change to a new instrument is it that you have physically outgrown the one you’re using. I love your music as it is and wonder what these changes will bring to it.
