Choose The Right Bait For Walleye Fishing

With a million different options for plastics in the fishing world it can be difficult to chose the best tool for the job. Using plastics when walleye fishing has exploded in popularity in recent years. Since spring is such a great time to be using plastics I figured this would be a great time to talk about the 3 main types I use. I talk about the differences in each type of plastics and how I like to work them to catch walleyes. Hopefully this video was useful to you. Thanks for watching and please subscribe!

I need to start trying to catch deeper water bass and was wondering if this also worked for largemouth in the 10 to 15 foot range on bottom. Shallow water is my most comfortable place for largemouth because I don't have expensive electronics. Just a depthfinder with cheap 2d sonar.

I notice that you often direct tie your baits instead of using quick snaps, why is that? When should I direct tie and when is it appropriate to use quick snaps and why? Thanks much.

What's your go to walleye bait for muddy lakes? The lake I fish is shallow in spots, there's places that go to 40 but it's in the middle of the lake. I mostly drift with a jig and crawler over the humps that go from 8ft to 20 but not too much luck. I'm doing something wrong.

Obviously we haven't met Since I don't think I'll get tom's informative answers to my general questions how bout I give them to you? ready? Are you fishing in Minnesota? which part? what's the water like right now there? In southeastern michigan where I'm fishing it's great to get the rods out any time of day, next question would be Tom speaks of three particular plastics, in yyour own individual opinion if you utilize plastics which. wouuld you refer or reccomend or what's been working for you? Do you think the fish surface a bit better when its raining or dry? Last question do you fish in muddy waters, what's that like? What's your individual separate view regarding live & artificial bait? I utilize both, I try to go with what I can afford I'm just a blue collar fishing novice not an expert but I value your opinion so please take the floor. Please be my guest and share your authorative here, I'm not speaking from the black or white, or any other lives matter standpoint but here your response does matter. Tom's explanatory presentation did help.
