My biggest mistake when walleye fishing....

Спорт

I'm pretty okay at making on-the-water adjustments whenever we are fun fishing or pre-fishing...but on game day I always get stuck grinding out where I caught ’em before. Which is probably why I’m also really good at winning pre-fishing 🤦‍♂️ then getting my butt whooped lol.
So long story short, I NEED to start “pre-fishing” all the time...meaning run-and-gun with my electronics if the bite I think should be going isn’t.
Drop a comment below and let me know what you think. 👊 Thx SO much for taking time out of your day to watch!

    This hit me right in the feels, this video profiled my entire life as an angler. I’m on the road to recovery these days working harder to get away from yesterdays “not biting” fish. Another awesome vid from Brett.

    Glad you liked it, Robert! And I appreciate the feedback!! I will always make sure to include other technologies in the videos, and will also try to focus more on the non-Live strategies of finding and staying on fish - they can sometimes be just as efficient...and often times even more crucial. 👍

  • @TargetWalleye

    @TargetWalleye

    I promise you we are not crushing it all the time. Actually strike-out more often than hitting gold. That’s the problem with most fishing media imo is you only see the good, or even the great. And not the half dozen trips before that that were failures. I try to show a glimpse into that “grind” as often as I can before we land on something worthy…but of course most people don’t want to watch fishing content that isn’t catching. Hope you’re having a great summer! And absolutely do not let not having a “live unit” stop you from enjoying time on the water. Thanks so much for watching!

    Great vid man. But I gotta know what are you using to attach the pole or how do you have that livescope setup with the pole on the side of your boat? I wana use my ice fishing livescope setup on my boat so I don't have to buy another unit and im trying to figure out a way to mount the pole so I can easily remove it like how you have yours in this vid. Please can you share how you have that setup on your boat. It looks like yours is a livescope ice bundle as well that you're using on your boat. Thanks.

    Sorry for the late reply! It’s a FIN GEAR Live Scan Pole Mount. Not cheap but it has worked GREAT and is super beefy! I had broken numerous other poles that had lots of plastic parts, so finally ponied-up for one that could withstand my abuse. I have it mounted on a Cisco Sport Trac Lund Mount (42°) so I can move it anywhere around the boat. Hope this helps. bit.ly/FIN-GEAR-pole-mount
