Great review Andre, keep up the good work! Instead of a DuRag with strings, I need a compression cap that's made of real silk and another made with satin, any recommendations?

Thanks Abdul , that may be tricky. Stalking caps are made for 360 waves and not made of silk! However you can get a silk bonnet and I you want it “tight” get a small size ? Just a suggestion thanks for watching don’t forget to subscribe!

no so when I style my perm it stays flat all day but as soon I lay my head down on a pillow it gets goofy and when I wake up its all frizzy literally like a mushroom lol. (the stylist said thats normal as I had thin straight hair before) but i read that a wearing a durag to Sleep will make the curls last longer so instead of getting a re perm every 3months I could stretch it to 4months

Ok thanks for the clarity, yes it will pat the curls down. And you can fluff them up in the morning after.

is it worth wearing a durag for permed hair? I had straight hair but just got them curled so what would you say?

Depends on what you’re trying to protect if you’re hair gets wet does your curl pattern loose?

You don’t have to use a Durag when you sleep but it could be beneficial especially after washing and conditioning. Most people with afros protect there fro with two strand twist and braids but if you want to rock just the fro and skip the styles...I suggest getting a bonnet ! Because all the hair can fit comfortably. But yes you can wear a Durag with a fro and it can help.

There really isn’t a point. I wouldn’t recommend it. It won’t help your hair pattern considering what you’re trying to accomplish.

Silk is better for absorption? Like absorbing the moisture frm ya hair? I thought absorbing moisture frm ya hair is what we Don’t want, Am I trippin or…

You took it too literally, silk is better for the oils and such staying in your hair. Also moisture depends on your hairs absorption depending if you’re using a durag to keep moisture away both work fine but silk works very good and if you’re trying to keep moisture in silk also works well. It’s a more natural barrier that is t pulling from every direction like cotton
