Wow! All those additional sound effects made up for the (unexpected) lack of music. Amazing story, the ending was especially good. I got the impression that the 'Crimson Consul' wasn't just resentful/angry with his 'brothers' - he was also unbearably isolated and lonely. The reason Chaos didn't succeed in fully corrupting him was because it couldn't provide him with the one thing he genuinely needed/wanted: a brotherhood. And the end message is important too: there *IS* always a choice. One of the hardest realities of being human is that we must all make choices of one kind or another and those choices (good or bad) *ALWAYS* have consequences. Excellent narration, Vox. You channel is a true treasure to the 40K community. Just don't get burned out, brother. We cherish you too much.

With that being said, it only took two of your narrations for me to know I needed to subscribe. Hold on, let me come closer. Don't even think of trying anything. You're not strong enough. Alright let me just move in right heeeere. Ah, yup. Lemme put my ears a couple inches from your lips" Just felt strange to me like some comedic family guy situational sketch. IDK what you did with the audio for this one but I really liked it. Only way I can really put it into words is that it adds a real feeling of gravity to your/the characters voice and the room/environment that the scene is taking place in. Gives me vibes that its got a high ceiling or something. That's the best way I can put it, doesn't really give it justice but oh well, describing things can be real hit or miss with me. So I guess that's just a excuse for you to say your narration was just so good it left one of your fans speechless, lol. Overall great job again, voice really did the story justice, liked the happy ending on this one to. Makes me wonder how crappy it must have been for Honsou to claw his way up the ranks.

@@AVoxintheVoid this is what I love about the 40k universe, it is so vast and extensively covered by lore and legends that the possibilities are endless after 20 years I’m still discovering something new 🔥🤘😎👍🔥 I chuckle sometimes pondering what far off future generations would think of the black libraries collection if it was lost and then rediscovered. Would they view it as a great work of literary art or something more akin to theology and what would be the outcome of that. The publisher is “the black library” and within the lore the black library is hidden and protected by the Harlequins inside the webway containing all the history and knowledge of the universe…. 🤔 would love to be a fly on the wall during that academic discussion. (Note to self, I should really be careful what I wish for 🤔🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️😂🤣)
