CHOCOLATE FUDGE PROTEIN BAR:
- 17g Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
- 17g Chocolate Casein Protein Powder
- 10g Cocoa Powder
- 5g Psyllium Husk Powder
- 60g Sugar-Free Maple Syrup
- 60g Almond Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Sweetener (optional)
- Pinch of Salt Salt
- 4g Mini Chocolate Chips (or more because yum!)
Pro Tips:
- If your protein powders are less absorbent, use less almond milk. Start with 15g of Almond Milk and add more if necessary.
- Meal prep these by making a big batch! These bars store great in the freezer and thaw in a few minutes.

I made these last night and even overnight in the freezer they're still sticky and on the cusp of being solid. I didn't add any milk though - just the syrup. I didn't have the right moulds so just used a tray. Moulds arriving today though so will give them another shot because even semi-solid it tastes amazing. I had probably half a serving an hour ago and still feel *full*. Love all your passion man - keep it up!

After playing with this for a while I think I like the following recipe best. I would be curious to know what you think. The goal is to have a high volume of food, low calories, easy to make and cheap. The recipe makes 16 soap bar sized servings. I suppose it is a cross between a protein bar and a frozen yogurt bar. Mix dry ingredients: 1 tsp xanthan gum (to reduce ice crystals) 6 tbsp whole psyllium husks (ground into powder…whatever that is in g, for more fiber) 120g protein powder 20g dark cocoa powder (taste) 10g cinnamon (taste) Salt (taste) Mix wet ingredients: 780g canned pumpkin (kind of a filler ingredient) 720g 0% greek yogurt (for protein) 350g steeves sugar free maple syrup (for sweetness) Combine the two and freeze 82 calories each, 11g protein, 4.5g fiber.

My gut doesn't like Vitafiber... But I'm already used to put psyllium into my oats, so I know I can handle it😉 Have someone ever tried to cook a big batch (let's say for 8 bars), spray (with cooking spray) an aluminium mold, pour the prep in, freeze a couple of hours, then cut it into slices (and wrap every bar in parchment paper) ? Would be easier for the dishes, and, at least, we could take one bar with us is its parchment paper ...🤔 You propose very interesting recipes and I like your humour = new sub 😀

I’ve made big batches like that plenty of times! I line a large aluminum mold with parchment paper and pour the mixture in. Then I use a knife to cut slices before freezing because it’s a lot easier to cut into the mix before it’s frozen

It was really good, but started melting almost immediately (guessing I added too much liquid.) So do you think the casein protein gives a lot more volume? Cause this one couldn’t even fill one mold, while yours completely filled two to the brim. Would all casein work?
