Best thing to do if you’re new (or at any level really) is to stick with your team. Sounds simple but a lot of new players get a bit too eager and just charge in there on their own

My recommendation would be a focus on footwork in outnumbered/team fight situations. How do you decide where to move when you've got people trying to surround you.

Such a fun game I love all the filthy war cries and watching everyone get hacked to bits is so funny. With your guides I'm new but can do pretty well and it's so fun to just rip players to shreds and then eventually have my own head loped off.

I enjoy watching your videos, you make it look so easy. I have a question about your counters tho. Sometimes I see you counter then alt feint your attack up to four times back to back in one swing (2:50). At least that's how the animation makes it look. Can you explain what is actually happening there? I've seen that maneuver in your other videos as well and it got me scratching my head...

You can only feint one attack into another, sometimes the overhead to overhead feints can look weird I’m assuming that is what you are seeing.

You can also use feints to delay your swing so you can get to the enemies backside

Rarely use either at this point, ill feint to jab usually just to troll. I generally avoid feint kicks as if fast weapon they will fall for feint and gamble your kick.

There is nothing complicated in the game, but if your ping is more than 45, the game may not register half of your hits. The network code is very bad.

On PC, it's a simple Keybind. I have mine set to "R" key, so I can just briefly hold the input, click my mouse, and that's how I Alt-attack. Pizza Steve, Typer, or Sir Chivalrous would know more for Console.

Hey man, so there is two ways. Either you can click L3 (left sick in) then your switch the swing . Or you can use block before swinging. Careful with second way tho due to it being a counter so if you vs a good player you’ll need work a bit harder to defensive counter them.

What do you think about feinting at the very first contact? Still useful or better using feint after conditioning your enemy with a certain tempo?

Still useful, but this stuff is all situational and subjective, like I know I feint first all the time, but I might recognize a passive player…if someone is coming Agro I might respect he will gamble.

I wish this video was out when I first started playing.

Btw, anyone knows if there's a way to bind a certain strike to keyboard and have it feint without having to bind alt. strike to a different key? I had to bind my overhead away from mouse wheel cause my wheel is glitched and sometimes misinteprets input throwing out a wrong strike type. I discovered that I can't counter overhead feints because I can't counter feint with the same keyboard key. Also I just checked, apparently feinting with LMB doesn't work either

@@StridahsAngels I think they need to improve controls a bit. Why do we have to have separate keys for all 7 of the strikes we got is beyond me. When I started I just kept doing horizontal slashes missing all the time because I was reflexively throwing camera up and down to do overheads and underhands.

Just started playing and practicing in 1v1, keep getting destroyed over and over by really good players. Like im not learning anything since i just die over and over. I think i struggle to deal with feints and kicking, and when the opponent is just giving constant pressure

Maybe it’s because I’m on console but PC seems to have a much more fluid walking speed while swinging. My character walks slow as fuck and can’t manage to close the distance at all once a swing has started and I end up getting dodged. I’ve changed up a lot of settings that for some reason are jank by default on console but I can’t figure out why I move so much slower and I pray it’s not just a bad console port.

@@StridahsAngels Nice KD doesn’t mean you are good player of 32 vs 32. There is bunch of great duelist like you that stay in back to finish frags playing 5 vs 1; while others with lower score are pushing objective in 1 vs 5. In 1pv you simply can’t push objetive surrounded by enemies. Try with 3pv, one day you will be in top of scoreboard being useful form team as others we do ;)

I bind cancel swing to Q and use it as cancel feint, people fall for it, even for level 100 guys.
