Chip Schultz bought an American flag immediately after the attacks on September 11th.
Since then he has taken it all over the country including a climb up Yosemite's Famous Half Dome, a bike ride from New York to Los Angeles and a marathon run.
As a Veteran, Chip says many ask him why he does what he does and he says it's to honor the ordinary men and women in uniform who have become America's extraordinary hero's.
Chip says next he would like to take the flag to Normandy, France, go on an aircraft carrier, and to Sitka Alaska to spend time with the Coast Guards Rescue Divers.
