This video really hit home. When I was a kid I would just stay in my room all day learning how my gun worked. Before school, handle my gun. After school, handle my gun. Before bed, handle my gun and sometimes between all these times. It drove my parents crazy. Day in and day out all I ever heard was "why are you always doing that", "do you have to make so much noise", "where are all the boxes of tissue", "did you steal my lotion again". To this day my gun holds a special place in my heart and hand. Maybe I'll make a video about it someday and post it on here to share a bit of my childhood with the world. Happy Holidays!

I used this kind of knowledge to realize that Black Ops: Cold War had some attention to detail in the campaign. When you're in Vietnam, the Vietnamese use Chinese AKs, identified by the front sight being hooded. When you run into the Spetsnaz, they use actual Russian AKMs with an open top front sight. Neat little attention to detail

Yeah, I noticed that, too. The Americans also use M16A1s and wooden M14s in the Vietnam missions. In multiplayer, the M14s are polymer and the M16s are A2s. Yet they still screwed everything up by giving the East German soldiers in the Berlin mission MP5s with red dot sights. Why didn't they just give them AKs??

He met up with a guy who traded his Polytech for my dad’s SKS that he had been wanting to get rid of because it wasn’t running right and he took the deal. @@brandonboyd5348 American made is one thing I’d ‘like’ to stick to if I end up building one & can. I’m not sure about Palmetto State Armory though. I’ve built several ARs over the years, and have fixed a few that friends have built and/or had issues with. Most of the rifles that needed work were either PSA builds or had PSA parts kits. Not that anything was exclusive to them or an issue they necessarily caused… it was just a pattern I couldn’t help but notice. I ended up loving the details of building ARs. I’m kind of hoping the same will be true in the AK world. If they’re anything alike in terms of process, I’m sure there’s no shortage of rabbit holes to go down.
