    I love everything chewing and sticky...so I love them all, but somehow the sweet one is almost only made/eaten around Chinese New Year. Back in the days when my grandma and mother made it for the season..we could not wait to stick our chopsticks in the hot, soft freshly steamed rice cake, twisting the chopsticks pulling a lovely big ball of gooey goodness out and ate it right away... the rest was left to cool to be eaten like this the rest of the time..such lovely memories

    I have been looking for this recipe , and this is the closest one to what my mom made …so I AM SAVING this version and making it CNY 2024! Simple and easy . I like both savoury and sweet . For savoury …. My mommy used to make glutinous rice thin dumplings with pork stock soup and grated daikon , dried shrimp . Soooo delicious during winter . Do you have a recipe ? I would love to make that daikon pork ( she used ground pork and pork bones ) soup with sticky noodle / thin dumplings . Please share … Thank you !!

    What is "light" olive oil? never heard of it

  • @CiCiLi

    @CiCiLi

    3 жыл бұрын

    Light olive oil is a refined oil, produced using heat after the first pressing of virgin oil. Rather than a deep green, light olive oil has a golden yellow hue. It keeps longer on the shelf and has a higher smoke point than other types of olive oil. ☺️
