China shocked me in Chongqing!

China, Chongqing: I was completely shocked in my first days in China, everything I saw was totally unexpected and different from how usually the American media portrays this country! China is absolutely incredible, and Chongqing so beautiful!

    jealousy.. because most overseas chinese are doing better than locals... and then there's also american propaganda around the world about how evil chinese is. sometimes, they almost describe chinese as same "animal"... but they are very smart. they always use "chinese(hanjian)" to spread their propaganda.

    @@xmb6793 yes, if you look at the overseas media, they exclusively hire people from Taiwan or of Taiwan origin ( also some from HK) for China related topics, as you described those Hanjian, 汉奸走狗卖国贼, those traitors trying so hard to ass kiss the USA and japan, and try every possible way to bash China. Using western narratives to create a propaganda for their people, twisted, biased, demonized, far from the truth, report news about China. USA hate every country who became the world number 2, because it is a threat to its position as world number 1. Look at Soviet Union and also later on Japan when they reached the no. 2 position, just figure what USA did to weaken their power, those no.2 diminishing thereafter. China now is facing the same difficult situation as no.2 because no.2 normally has very shaky fate because of the USA intervene

    After 1978, China actually returned to Confucian collectivism. (Please pay attention to the attitude of Lee Kuan Yew in Singapore) After that, the Chinese government declared itself a Leninist while suppressing Leninists and Western liberals. Greece really needs to focus on marketing to China. Most people in China know greek yogurt, olive products, honey products and so on... But which brand? So i think these industries should learn more from the 'tourism of Santorini', which made itself successfully branded as an excellent impression of Greece for Chinese people. potentially, Greece has this capacity to make its products more well known in Chinese market, because i still remember that around 2005 and later folli follie had still been a niche that somehow kind of famous among certain comsumers. Plus, aside these business things, Greece pertains a level of affinity in our society thanks to its ancient culture and philosophy, which makes things related to Greece easier to be accepted by the mass...even though I am also seeing the trend that turkey is getting more and more popular in daily topics

  • @Dimi1982.

    @Dimi1982.

    Жыл бұрын

    @@Fizzing-Amperage I agree that Greece should focus on marketing its products to China. Greek yogurt, olive products, and honey products are already well-known there. Greece can learn from Santorini's successful tourism branding to make its products more recognizable in the Chinese market. The country's ancient culture and philosophy also create affinity, making Greek-related things easier to be accepted by the masses. While Turkey is becoming popular, Greece can leverage its unique offerings to stand out. By investing in strategic marketing and emphasizing its strengths, Greece can tap into the vast potential of the Chinese market.

    Oh the anti-China propagandists will surely say that you are the very very minority of the people there who are enjoying life in China. The rest of the Chinese people, they claim or are trying to brainwash the west, are living in poverty, oppressed, have no freedom whatsoever and are so hungry that they have to eat grass and the barks of trees just to survive. The yankees generally can't accept the facts that maybe, just maybe, the Chinese are having a better life than them. 😅

    An absolute excellent video Michele! You covered a lot of territory in a short time, and have made it so very enticing to make a person want to visit! One has to admire the Chinese for all of their accomplishments! A valid point that you mentioned, that I noticed beforehand, was the number of people, and not a cigarette butt or piece of trash lying on the ground! Your dedicated subscribers have definitely seen the opposite with other places you’ve visited in the world. Kudos to the Chinese for keeping their cities and public places so clean and beautiful! I’m glad to see you are enjoying yourself in Chongqing, and thank you once again for presenting this to all your viewers on KZread! 👏💯😁🏆🇨🇳

We in Sweden had it okay for a couple of years but now we are quickly falling like the rest of Europe.. It will get worse , much more worse in the coming years.. We need new leaders in Europe , who stand for the people and growth not leaders who sells out whole European industry to US and spend all the money on US. We need to be friends with China and RU .

Just think about the PIPE LINE , that US blow up, Germany and other European countries knows it but says nothing..EU and UK leaders serve only US elites and the US military industry.. I will start to look east, and will do what I can to move to China. Tired of all the crap here in Europe.. all the lies and all problems . China is the future and Russia .

    Dear Michele, Thank you for your positive portrayal of Chongqing. I lived there myself for many years and I am glad you liked it. I wouldn't say that every corner is filled with big luxury brand stores, though. If you travel away from the pedestrian shopping areas you will actually see what I think is an even more beautiful side of Chongqing, with more traditional style houses, little parks and temples. Ciqikou does a nice approximation, but is still very commercialized, but try and go to Jiaochangkou, 重庆市渝中区朝东路 you'll find some of the most hard working bang bang men around. near Lianglukou station you'll find massive staircases near 皇冠大扶梯, and finally if you take a walk along the stairs to 格萨藏宴·烤肉(南滨路店) you'll find an amazing view, and some great food at the top. A very authentic Chognqing experience that I can definitely recommend. I hope you had/have fun!

    Hello Michele, welcome to Chongqing. I have been living here for 10 years. Did you know there is an Italian consulate in here in CQ. It is located in the WFC building (very tall black building) along that pedestrian street you were at before you went the food street. Sometimes they go to that mall (Park 108) next to the Apple store, for lunch one floor down at a small restaurant called Mates. Enjoy yourself in CQ.

    Hi Michele, this city is definitely not poor, yes I can see through your video that everything is so alive, the colors, the streets and malls, really cool places and I think 900 dollars is a good sale because everything in local places is so cheap and affordable. Thank you for sharing the unique city of China that I enjoyed watching. 🙏🙏💪💪
