i tried this deck against the AI in expert and win 9/10, reach industrial age in 10 min, and always have enough exp for 1 shipment for units available. the monk can easily take down canons and cavalry. A better alternative then the chinese ancient armies rush.

Yeah it’s a common issue when there’s been a recent patch, it’s just something that can’t be avoided I’m afraid

Why do Asian civ players go for monastery so often instead of tp? Is it because it's built in base and it's easier to defend?
