The author is mistaken. This is a hybrid. The engine acts as a generator and only powers the battery.

@@desertsurvival8235 They once said the same thing about Korean cars. The build quality of Chinese cars is better than German ones. Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, everything creaks inside!!! and the durability is not what it used to be.

The only thing that will shake the industry is if they honour the warranties & continue to produce spares and support the model after the production ceases in 2 years time.
