China rose water as an acid base indicator | Acids & Bases | Chemistry
Acids turn blue litmus paper red, and bases turn red litmus blue. Soaking china rose petals in hot water for half an hour creates a solution that can be used as acid-base indicator. The demo uses two acids - hydrochloric acid and lemon juice and two bases - sodium hydroxide and soap water to test. Acids turn china rose to magenta red and reddish, bases change it to yellow and greenish yellow.

Lemon contains citric acid but Lemon juice does not so Lemon juice is not a Acidic Solution

I poured a rose petal submerged in water and alcohol into the liquid sosa and they turned inyo green. How can this contradict the same experiment that you did?

It doesn't contradict the experiment. Liquid Sosa is a strong base and has a higher PH level than soap water. The higher the pH level, the basic it is and the darker green it gets. The closer to neutral it gets, the more yellow it becomes.
when china rose solution is added in a basic solution such as sodium hydroxide, it turns into GREEN COLOR, so what will happen when it is added to an acidic solution ?
