Western car buyers are forced to pay added taxes and additional third-party charges. Only China seems to be able to build affordable electric cars. I hope BYD will export the E2 to other markets around the world.

Here in the US, the media says no one wants an EV and and the same time, we have to apply heavy tariffs to Chinese EVs or they'll destroy our auto industry.

We Americans pride ourselves on willful ignorance. We used to be an optimistic nation that believed there is nothing we can't do. We could even put a man on the moon. These days we are pessimistic and believe there is nothing we can do. We can't even offer the basics of healthcare and education to our citizens. We used to be all about progress and making a better world. Now, we view progress as our enemy.

Naaaa, i rather have the other Chinese EVs like the Zeekr 001 which has a range of 640 miles. Or the NIO which delivers a range of 650 miles. But unfortunately like highspeed bullet train technology which is also, (fully electric), These long range EVs are not available in the mighty United States of America. So due to the 6,000 miles i travel every year, I'll keep my jaguar XJl which delivers a range of 570 miles which supersedes any EV anywhere in the United States, and leave well enough alone.....

Well done China - the car looks really cool - good to see so,one has finally got serious about making electric cars affordable to the common man - I ‘d buy one immediately if sold in Australia - they now need to follow the car design, look & feel of the new Mazda range of cars - particularly the Mazda models scheduled for launch in 2025 - then each sales of the BYD cars fly out the door.

The Chinese supersedes the americans in many technological advancement from bullet train technology which is also, (fully electric) to the greatest EVs on earth. The BYD D2 has the same thing american EVs have, a short and shitty range but, what do you expect for 12K? On the other hand, the Zeekr 001 carries a range of 641 miles. The NIO which has a range of 650 miles. If these EVs were available in the United States, they would disrupt the american auto industry. Some americans not only except the short and shitty ranges of EVs but they also boast it. The rest of us americans are waiting for these fine improvements and many others just dont want to be bothered with these cars where you have to plug in and stay awhile. Me personally, i think EVs are kool!! But because my long distance traveling amounts to 6,000 plus miles a year, i just cant use a short range car, gas or electric. These long range Chinese EVs would definitely sell in America and would definitely convince many others to make the transition. If Zeekr 001 sold in America, i definitely would have one sitting in my driveway right now. So until the United States of America improves the EV, I'll keep my 570 miles of range offered by my jaguar XJl and leave well enough alone. Hats off to you China...

I suggest viewers watch other videos of BYD (Build your dream) cars. Chinese people are refusing to buy them, as those people have said they're junk.
