This deck looks so fun! I loved seeing Berfomet and Gazelle whenever they appeared in the anime and glad they’re making a return with upgrades. Too bad it might be months until they get added to MD though but when they do I’ll definitely try them out.

Dumb question but is this an expensive deck I assume it is because of the new typing but I already have the old school chimera so I'm wondering if I can purchase the new support for it I do know one of the boss monsters is like $15

In a build I’m messing around with on simulators, I’m playing the OG Chimera and the new Fusion Armament: Armament reveals Chimera Illusionist to summon OG Chimera, which + a fusion spell and any Illusion monster is Chimera Illusionist. I also like running 1 OG Gazelle and Berfomet to summon off of Chimera Fusion, but I’m silly like that.

I started with fusion destiny in here and played that for awhile. The OG stuff is what I see a lot of people using because of the free summons. It's a little bricky but can help a lot.

Wait if your using the Hex-Sealed to summon Dragoon then wouldn't you need the Dark one not the light since the light only works for light fusion monsters?

Nope, you can use the light one because you summon Albion first then banish from grave light hex seal (which counts as Dark Magician) and albaz for Albion to summon Dragoon. You need the light one for Albion to summon.

Anybody know what card that is after albion? In fusion monsters?

Instead of Imperm, play Veiler. It’s extra material for Fusions where Imperm is not.

Mirror knight is already a light and you have shifter still in the format and it plays into talents more this is horrible advice

​@@godsmithofchaosimperm is a better hand trap. Effect veiler gets hit with meta problems. If you don't care about the hand trap just play more monsters.

@@greysunomain you’re not wrong, but! When Guardian Chimera is a main interruption to use in this deck. Veiler would be a better handtrap since it is able to do the same thing, but also be used as fusion material

@@godsmithofchaos that isn't a good enough reason to run it over or even in the deck as you don't see. This shows the levels in which deck building plays a part.

Branded Fusion Albaz and Light hex for Albion, then Albion banish light hex and albaz for REDDragoon

No, you use branded fusion to send it from deck to grave.

I personally wouldn't. You need the fusions to add off of Patchwork. Without it you have 3 patchworks in deck that you brick when you're out of polys to add (you MUST add a frightfur monster and poly off it)

It's more than 6. You are missing; Kuriboh (which you could pair with Chimera like in Waking the Dragon arc), Poker Knights, Gadgets, Silent and Buster Blader.

tested them and didn't go for mercourier that much and brigrand was mid next to titaniklad.

@@DarkArmedDuelist Mercourier is your only Nibiru counter. The main reason for Brigrand is to search Mercourier. The full combo ends with Mirrorjade cl1, send brigrand. Rindbrumm CL2 negate Mirrorjade. Mirrorjade can still banish next turn, and you get mercourier in the end phase. ALT: run Tri Brigade Nervall OR Branded Lost to search Mercourier. If you have Mirrorknight or Cornfield in hand with Branded fusion, then BF Rindbrumm sending nervall and FOAlbaz. You get Mercourier immediately and Nib becomes a non issue.
