I used to love very hot showers because it felt so nice to be warm, but my anxiety got worst as I got older. My first cold shower made me feel like I was actually alive ! It was so good that I couldn’t believe I’d never done it before. When I have really bad anxiety I do a straight up freezing shower and tell myself everything that im doing to center myself from spiraling thoughts. I wish I would’ve know about these when I was a kid could’ve stopped a lot of panic attacks lol

I guess because it boosts ur immune system. I had the most severe sinus and allergies all year long. When I first started talking the cold shower my allergies got so bad that I thought i might end up in the hospital but i knew it would happen so continued then after a couple weeks everything calmed down. Now hardly ever have allergies, when i do have allergies i just massage my sinuses for a minute or two then it just goes away. Again thank this my personal experience. The benefits here are real, however one must execute this practice in a controlled environment. Also be sure to start off with a warmer temperature then move on gradually to a colder one. I would not suggest going out until at least an hour post-shower. It also helps to mentally prepare yourself or to psychologically manifest/adopt a power-persona.

I'm a skeptic on the benefits. I started taking cold showers about 3 weeks ago every day for no other reason than "can I do it?" Result: I started to enjoy it as an exercise in tolerance toward physical discomfort. 3 hurdles: 1st hurdle) The "flinch" - I go right in; it's the only way. 2nd hurdle) The shock of the cold water on my skin - I start in on my routine and ignore it. 3rd hurdle) My ribs and lower back are sensitive to the temperature - I'm not sure why. I just deal with it. Hope this helps anyone thinking of trying it. I don't think I'll be going back to warm/hot showers ever again.

Why can’t you just be proud to be a good person. Why does everyone have to separate themselves into groups. That’s what starts wars. Just be proud to be a good person ‘cause you’re no better than anyone else. We are all God’s children. I’m a Christian and I love Allah’s children as well, we are equal. Please think about that…

I remember how i got into cold showers. It was a hot summer day and I’d just got back home. I was so hot that i went to the shower just to throw some cold water on my head. It felt really good and refreshing that the next time i did my head and a little bit of my shoulders. Next time i went full steam ahead and never looked back. I’ve been enjoying cold showers ever since.
