This is my first year attempting peppers from seed. I wanted to try pepperoncini because I wanted a mild heat for salads. I had to order them online because most chilli types in this country are very hot. I put them in a propagator on the 24th April in a 15-cell tray and they have all successfully germinated. However I think I may have removed the cloche lid too early because I thought it was supposed to be removed when the cotyledons have formed, but it wasn't until I watched one of your previous videos that you mentioned they should be kept under the lid until the first true leaves appear. I'm in Ireland by the way and growing inside a greenhouse. I think they'll turn out fine but they sort of stopped growing since the lid came off. Oops!

I love your garden. My grandpa use to have one when I was a kid. Eventually I'd love to give one a try but I don't have much of a green thumb.

Mate you'd be surprised I'd never grown a damn thing in my life till 2 years ago, started growing Habaneros Jalapeños and tomatos in buckets And trust me I'm no Horticulturist 🤣 all my pointers I've basically picked up on KZread. Feeds like these have been a god send 👍 I'm likely shifting in to a caravan at the end of the month and I'll keep growing in buckets ,so you don't need something as huge as Shaun's set up (as great as it is) to get started 👍
Didn't get the kit but I got a few seeds, CC jalapeno, ring of fire, kashmiris all looking great. I got a pack of your bhut jolokia, only managed to get one viable plant but it looks like it'll be a monster. Probably 30-40 pods on it already and many many more flowers still on it. Very excited to watch this one over the summer
That tree is an English Hawthorn, aka a Mayflower.
The Chili Chump seed kit is doing great so far. The Yellow Lanterns are probably the most behind for me. My Piri Piris are MASSIVE in comparison to the others right now.
It's great to see the progress and growing number of greenhouses 😃
Good stuff ChilliChump!
oh yes my plants are rolling!! thx for the great seeds
Great update. I grow my peppers in an 8 x12 greenhouse. I dont move them outside. I have 50 peppers and 50 tomatoes on a double tiered shelf system. Pepper have 1st peppers now. Plants are about 15 - 18 inches tall

Ive stopped aphids by adding screens on the insides of the windows. I cut small slots in the screen at the bottom middle for the arms. Also i use bagged soil and i filter my water. I have a magnetic screen on the door as well. The bagged soil cost me 100 bucks each year. I dump all my pots on the lawn at the end of the year. Ive also got a bunch of sticky bug traps as well. No more aphids. I think aphid eggs come from outside compost which i dont use anymore
Nice allround update! Always good to see your progress and expansion. Had a setback earlier this season because I used old soil to start seeds and that did not work at all. Refreshed and reseeded and just about everything I want to grow came up. Especially those Peppadews and your Jalapeño popped up fast!

Thanks mate. Fresh soil, preferably sterile for seed starting. Mine this year wasn't great, got some weeds in mine.
My Naga vipers that I got from you are doing well now, they took around a month to germinate on a windowsill above a radiator. I will get heat mats for next year, I have potted them up and are in a plastic greenhouse and are loving the last week of sun and heat.

Fantastic to hear they are doing well! Heat mats/heated propagator will certainly speed up germination next year!
I never got the cc seedkit but the seeds I did get from you all the plants are doing good
Great update homie
I got your seeds flourishing in my house on my Aeroponics system. The Malawian Piquante is about 5 feet tall and flowering like crazy and the Bleeding Jigsaw is now just flowering. Peppers are beautiful man. Thank you so much.

I have a Piri Piri in an aero garden that’s actually doing really well surprisingly especially given that the water isn’t heated and the light isn’t the strongest.
My chillies are doing well this year so far and are going to need potting up very soon. I've only heated my greenhouse for about ten days this year when I had to move the chillies and tomatoes out from the lights and heat at the end of April because of their size. Happily the temperatures have finally risen but I do have a large heatmat which the Chillies thrive on. Last year I already had loads of aphids by this time but so far so good. I was particularly happy to see a couple of Ladybirds on the plants yesterday but I've got about thirty Chilli plants. I think it's probably because here in Lancashire we've gone straight from Winter to late Spring/Early Summer. The weather's been terrible, so I'm hoping there won't be an aphid explosion anytime soon. I do as much companion planting as possible and last year there were so many Hoverflies in the greenhouse that seemed to sort the problem out. Thanks for the update I really enjoy them!
What I would find useful is a quick table of pot sizes you use from seed…
I'm growing jalapeños and poblanos here in the Seattle area, and mine are all about the size of your plant 129, whichever that was. Tiny little guys still. But we finally got out of the never ending rain so I'm trying to be patient. 😕
Oh! Nice with so many ladybug larvae! 🐞😍My two biggest plants are a CC Jalapeno and a CC Jigsaw Brain or Bleeding Jigsaw (mixed up the seeds.. 🤪). Wow! You *really* seem to have had a LOT of aphids. I (touch wood) didn't have a single one last season and hope for the same this season. I think it is the fact that i glassed the balcony so the "wildlife" of the outside won't get in to the plants 🤔That tiger mix plant looked really pretty! Nice and big tomato plants in the ground 👍Are you growing any pumpkins this season? That tree was really beautiful! 😍

Been the worst year for aphids! But thankfully that's done now. Got a strategy for next year! Yep, got a couple giant pumpkins started. Hoping for a monster this year.

COOL FACT about the ladybug larvae ... i had no idea
Ive got habenero chocolate, jalapeno.roxi and cayenne peppers growing about 15 of each in a 6x4 greenhouse 😂😂 that doesnt include the cucumbers ,baby lemon trees and three strawberry plants had to kick my 15 tomato plants outside now they too big ...north west England 🙌💪
I read we had more shine or uv light few days ago😮
My CC seed kit is doing outstanding. The Bleeding Jigsaws are big but 1 of the Yellow Lanterns is almost six feet tall in an Earth box. Moved them all outside yesterday and looking forward the growing season.

Tomatoes grow a little quicker, and can take on much more light than chillies. The growth really kicks off when I get them in full sunshine. And happy to answer here, or discord.
how many varieties man? i got 284 variety of super hot and 106 others including 9 variety of jalapeno. 393 varieties of peppers. yes my business is awesome green and vegetables and i grow more.
Do you think the X will end up being BMM or Habanero?
My ghost pepper plants I started from seed in early March are still pretty small but have loved being outdoors during most days the last few weeks. Some friends were over last night and were surprised when I told them they had been growing for 2-1/2 months. Chocolate bhutlah and peach ghost plants. We got at least one more week before I can plant them in pots outside, but at least they are hardened off now. Currently they are just chilling in red solo cups with holes cut in the bottom.
I see videos about germinating chilli seed on bananas. Do you know if that is possable
