No es del todo cierto esa afirmación, el Ejército de Colombia también utiliza los uniformes de gala y parada estilo prusiano al igual q los chilenos; a finales del siglo 19 vinieron alemanes y también chilenos a Colombia, pero fue entre 1929 y 1940 q se acrecentó la presencia de alemanes con dos misiones entrenando y enseñando en o Escuela Militar y en la Escuela Superior de Guerra

@@Fulcrox i don't see that Prussian tradition and NATO doctrine have anything to do with each other. I always thought Chilean ceremonial units appeared late 19th century Prussian, because years ago Chile invited Prussian trainers to help them with their army, and those traditions remained.

@@BorisSpinoza The Chilean Army had Won the Pacific War, the war against Peruvian-Bolivian Confederation, Uhhhhh I would say their independence war but that was with the help from Argentina, and The Chilean army got brutally defeated by the Spanish during 1814, so that’s what I remembered about.

@@olgajensen4232 Le entiendo y es así, pero en la realidad, el compás de las marchas chilenas disminuyó en los últimos 40 años para evitar errores, así como también se ve hoy en los tiempos en los que el bundeswehr disminuyó los tiempos para hacer sus movimientos de giros y así evitar errores. Eso está reconocido en las marchas chilenas y alemanas actuales

Als ich zum ersten Mal Aufnahmen von diesen Paraden in Chile sah, dacht ich dass irgend so ein Historienfilm wieder mal nen Fehler gemacht hat. Dies weil kein Adler auf den Pickelhauben war. El desfile que se ve en el video corresponde a la Escuela Militar del Libertador Bernardo Ohiggin y ellos desfilan con ka Marcha Radeski.

Sin dudas, el único y el último Ejército Prusiano del mundo está en Chile, sus tradiciones han continuado intactas , las paradas militares son exactamente iguales.

Weil es an der Tradition einer alten aber siegreichen Armee anknüpft? Die Bundeswehr ist modern, verliert aber gegen Hinterwäldler(Afghanistan).

Thanks to Germany, Chile found a style they liked and kept it, while Germany moved on. Don't blame it on "isolation". It's classic and a great tradition and traditional look Germany may itself want to revive.(For better or worse, AFD certainly might.)

Le ganó a Argentina, Bolivia y Perú. Además de derrotar a los mapuches, algo que no hicieron los españoles, además de derrotar a España en sus intentos de retomar a chile después de su independencia.

Perhaps they could send some of their men to Germany to act as advisors to the Bundeswehr. And then perhaps in a few years they will act like german soldiers again.
