I was there at this show , 15 years old! So good! I remember waiting in the queue outside in like minus 18 Celsius. People started small fires with old newspapers and random shit we found to keep warm :D

My last concert was headlined by COB before COVID hit. I couldn't find anyone to go with me so I went by myself, and it was EPIC. Swallow the Sun was opening which are DEFINITELY worth checking out. Their singer is up there with Tatiana from Jinjer as far as their vocal range coming out of nowhere. :-D

You guys rip. I've been listening to Bodom since I was a kid, back when my now reformed hardcore catholic parents begrudgingly complimented the musicianship of this band. Oh jeez reading that back, what a sentence. I'm leaving it here for posterity.

Alexi, but when his autopsy came out I was so pissed off at him,he really had me fooled a little bit,why didn't you reach out to someone brother, such a shame, reminds me a little bit of how Scott Weiland went out but he was 15 year's older I think, like I said when Eddie Van Halen died,all of my heroes are dying 🥺

This song takes me back to the summer of 1998, Nummirock, Nummijärvi, Finland... It was probably Children of Bodom's first major festival concert, or at least one of the first. I was just 17 years old back then and it was also my first summer festival... To have COB, Pantera, Slayer, Dream Theater, HIM, Stratovarius, Sentenced and many more on your first festival wasn't that bad...

Well, there is no English equivalent for PERKELE. But yeah, It was more natural soundig when he cursed in Finnish. "Soita punkkia vitun kusipää" 😂
