yea i saw this video in 2013 i was young and fell in love with guitars two band that inpired me iron maiden and children of bodom alexi was playing breaking the law in intro

I just listened to Hatebreeder album while I was on a stroll. Damn, it's a great album. I was supposed to walk but I got so much energy from that album that I actually ran the most part lol. Now it's been a little over 2 years since Alexi passed away 😢 it still feels like it was yesterday...and it still hurts. May his soul rest in peace 🙏❤️ Need to visit his grave next time I visit Finland.

When I was a teenager and wasn't into metal music yet, I heard this song called Everytime I die. It gave me shivers, then I found the songs Hate me, Downfall and their first albums and started really liking it. Wanted to see the band live but then it was too late as Alexi died.

@@finnishguy4108Hello Finnish Guy! I was born and raised in Maracaibo, Venezuela. My mom is Finnish, from Helsinki. I lived in FIN for a while but now I'm living in Gran Canary. Anyway, my favorite COB albums are from Hatebreeder to Are you Dead Yet. Not that the rest of their albums would be bad, not at all, I actually like very much the Blooddrunk album. I was lucky enough to meet Alexi in person. That happened in front of Nosturi, i was just on my way to home, and suddenly I saw Alexi walking out of Nosturi. I wouldn't have wanted to bother him but I realized that this could be a 'once in a lifetime' chance, you know what I mean? So I said to him 'Hi Alexi, my name is Marisol, I hate to bother you but I love COB music soooo much'. Alexi seemed to be a lil shy but was more open as the conversation progressed. Then he started joking with me and smiled more and more. Then he asked me if I'd like to get a few of their World Tour T-shirts. I was like "hell yeah"! So he went back to the building to pick up those T-shirts for me, came back with a bunch of T-shirts and pickups! He even signed every single T-shirt for me! On that day, I had the honor of meeting the real Alexi, He spent more than 20 minutes of his precious time with me ❤️ I will NEVER forget meeting him, he was so nice, polite, humorous and generous. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to see the COB on stage 2 times during the time I lived in Helsinki. Can't believe it's been 2 years since he passed away 😢 The world lost quite a unique musician when he died, as I always say, he wasn't only a great guitarist but an excellent songwriter, arranger etc (I know that COB as a band made the final arrangements but still you can hear Alexi's influence in them). Need to visit his grave next time I come to FIN. Sorry for the long comment, but I think Alexi & COB deserve it 💜 I love and miss Finland so much but I got a decent job here in LP, Gran Canaria. They were Amazing Band ,when i went to see them live on their Blooddrunk tour i was blown away took my missus with me her first metal concert {she didnt like metal} by the middle of the concert she was head banging with the rest of us. Thanks for the memories Alexi Laiho RIP shred king!

Ciao ragazzi now i have taken a pause for being electrified ahah for the situation here in Italy and other stuff ! Always foow you but you remember that sometimes is phisiological a pause of two three days for other things changing around me and for me ! Children of Bodom is great performering band ! 2'39"-2'40" 💫 . The intro has some random stuff of Deep Purple and J P inside ! Tasty intro !

Alexi passed away last year. I'm honored to have seen him live three or four times, and to have briefly met him in passing. He was one of a kind.
