The live lick is on the D string 10-9-10-12-10-9h10 while pedaling on the palm muted open A string between each note. I think Alexi does it all on the A string higher up on 12th fret but I like how this way sounds better.

@@5150forevermore I think in 2020 tavastia gig Alexi plays it on A string 9-10-9-12-10-9, but it could be varied.

The tone is perfect! How do you rate bias FX2 for leads? Which virtual amp did you find to most accurately model the Hatebreeder's album iconic sound? I'm often travelling and having a virtual amp is something I'd like to dig, especially to achieve a tone similar to yours here :) I have a emg-HZ as pickup. Amazing cover and playing!

Thank you! For leads I prefer Neural DSP plugins. The best amp for modelling Alexi's tone is Fortin Nameless with IR's, at least for me. The best thing in Bias FX 2 is that you can achieve stereo tone without buying any imagers (can't do it in the Neural plugins). You can check me new videos (I used nameless in Bodom Blue Moon cover) and compare the amps 🙂.

@@mikolajpoterek A skąd jesteś? Próbuję od jakiegoś czasu skompletować skład w klimatach podobnych do CoB, ale okazuje się, że to trudniejsze niż by się mogło wydawać 😆 Niestety nas, melodeathowców, jest malutko w Polsce, więc szukam gdzie się da, włącznie z YT 😆
