    Well yeah, addiction and mental health problems don’t work that way. You can work, smile, laugh and have good time, but when you go home alone at night you can’t stop the thoughts running through your head. The anxiety and pain never really goes away even when you’re smiling. I’ve suffered from depression for 17 years, and some times are better, some times worse. It doesn’t mean I can’t have fun. Actually people who meet me at work could never imagine what’s hidden behind my smile. And none of us know what Alexi was going through.. Alcoholism is such a fucking hard thing to overcome...

    Perkele is an alternative name of Ukko, the chief god of the Finnish pagan pantheon. In modern Finnish, the interjection "perkele!" is a common profanity, approximately equivalent to "the Devil!" in meaning and "fuck!" in intensity. We have a lot of swearwords, so do you guys wanna have small lecture of these fine words of ours ;)

    @@michaelcard9382 it's not "programming". Hollywood is too dumb for its own sake. It's just exciting for the typical western audience, and it attracts viewership therefore the media companies capitalise on it. It's "dangerous" and "exotic". That's why you see a lot of it lately. Especially targeted towards teens. Same with metal music in the past. All satan etc, but not even 1/3 of the musicians had anything to do with satan worship per se. They just loved the extreme imagery and they understood the excitement factor it brought to the table. Especially for the younger audience which the music targeted. Cheers

    It just makes allot of sense that these two Guitarists ended up hanging out and jamming together. not 1 guitarist out of the thousands upon thousands of bands of the A7X, Lamb Of God, Bullet For My Valentine etc ilk can measure to one of these guys. "I do have a feeling about bands that cannot get it on, ... When I was a kid, I had guitar heroes: Jimmy Page, Michael Schenker, Angus Young. Hot players. You can't name one guitar player in any of the new bands that is a virtuoso" ~ Dave Mustaine

  • @NicStride
    @NicStride13 жыл бұрын

    @Mumumumichael Yeah, depends what you're playing and amp etc. Bridge gives a mean trebly harsh sound and neck gives a warmer full bodied sound, depends what you're into. In metal you can use neck for solo's but it's not really mean sounding enough nowadays. Old Metallica used neck all the time.

    I wish in an alternate universe he crossed paths with Uncle Snoop, and that Dawg would of had him changing his perspective and all kinds of metaphysical-stuff. I think guys can come back from that kind of addiction but I think it requires the genuine companionship of a good woman and a male mentor for a meaningful daily grind with a regular connection with a brotherhood of people in a really well coached Dojo in grappling. Whether that's freestyle, Sambo, Judo, BJJ..... we have circuits as humans that need to be flexed. We're tribal at our core and there are such better ways of getting through things but community with wokism is a very aesthetic and controversial topic.
